Should I Cut My Hair Opinions

Is this expensive for a haircut? (In your opinion)?

Okay. So I want a new haircut, at SUPERCUTS for $13, or maybe higher because my hair is really long.

My dad says he knows this other place for only $7 a haircut, no matter how long. That place is Chinese, and I'm Chinese, and it's not that I'm racist or anything, I just want my hair professionally cut.

Also one more thing: I think that the Chinese barbers cut differently, or maybe only Chinese styles, is this true? (Please base this answer on your own experience.)

Opinions on girls with short hair?

Hi there

dont be afraid to do something you want to, hey you live once and your hair will grow back if you dont like it. If you do you'll have a new style to go to.

As a guy in the 20-30 range I can tell you a lot of my friends like short hair. it usually means a woman is confident, knows her sexiness is not attached to her hair.

I wouldn't ever kick Kiera Knightly out of bed

What's your opinion of man buns?

I was over man buns before they became so ubiquitous.Picture this here in San Francisco:A handsome guy is walking down the street towards you, and you lock eyes for a second. He is well dressed, possibly for a good job. He is carrying a messenger bag and wearing nice shoes.Turns out you both go into the same coffee shop. You both like the same coffee! That's when you see it:The Man Bun on the back of his head.I don't know about the rest of you, but I would turn on my heel and walk right out. Then a few questions would pop into my head.‘He actually wears that thing at work? Ick!’‘Why are man buns so damn popular?!’ ‘‘Why did men ever buy into this fad?!’Man buns are not attractive. Actually quite the opposite. And just in case you don't feel like growing your hair long to put it up in said bun, they make clip ins!Clip In Man BunThis makes me slightly nauseous…*blerp*

Your Opinion: Spiral Perm or Hair Cut with layers?

I have the same problem!

My hair is very straight and right past my shoulders. I would do anything for a little lift or body!! Anyways, I would not recommend perming your hair. I have a friend who tried it recently, and the curls came out small and 80s ish, which is normal for any perm (even if they tell you that it wont happen!).

Instead of a perm, I would highly recommend getting layers. Nothing is better for summer then a fresh haircut with bouncy layers. Tell your stylist that you prefer choppier layers (so that they dont end up in a straight line), and to take a couple inches off your length. When styling your hair, add a bit of volumizing moouse or texurizing product before blow drying. Blow dry your hair upside down to get major volume and afterwards spritz with a volumizing spray to keep your style in place.

Also, with a hair cut with layers, you have greater versatility. instead of your hair being constantly curly (and damaged from the perm), you can switch from straight hair to curly each day! Have you ever tried scrunching your hair? If you are looking for a softer curl/wave, use volumizing moose, and blow dry your hair with a diffuser hair dryer.

You can find all of these products at Walmart, Target, and your local grocery store, and they are not expensive.

Good luck with everything!

In your personal opinion, how old is too old to have long hair?

I had light auburn hair which I always wore long or coiled up. My personal opinion, at the age of 60’ish, was that my long hair made me look like mutton dressed as lamb, so I had it cut. An action that I still regret 26 years later! My husband said, as did several friends, “What have you done with your beautiful hair?” He’d never commented on my hair before, in nearly 40 years of married life! I thought, “Now he tells me!”It’s not curly, but I do have strong waves in my hair (still auburn, thanks to modern hair products!) and these waves do what they want to do regardless of my wishes. I tell you, this hair of mine has it’s own ideas! Because I found long hair easier to control, I have tried to grow it back several times, but the inbetween stage has always defeated me, that and various happenings in my life, when it wasn’t the right time to attempt to grow it. No hairdresser seems able to give me a hairstyle which controls my unruly locks, but I now have a very short style which is easier to control, but still likes to have it’s own way. However, looking around at the other women living in this retirement village, I consider myself very fortunate that my hair is still reasonably thick, as so many of them have very thin hair. Two women, in particular, are almost bald, poor souls! My auburn hair, much lighter than it used to be, suits me. I have tried white, which does nothing for my very fair skin, hence still auburn! Some women here look great with lovely pure white hair, others it doesn’t suit at all, like me.So all in all, despite my daily morning battle, I’m fortunate, and thankful, to still have hair like mine at my age, short though that hair may be!

Should I cut my hair short or keep it long?

Cant decide if I should cut my hair short probably a buzz cut or keep it long. Give me your opinions and help me decide. My hairs probably 3 inches longer now.

Am I being too picky about my new hair color? (warning ..long question but I only need your opinions)?

I was born with dark brown hair, which in my opinion makes my very pale skin look even whiter. A few years ago, Mom let me go to her hairstylist to get my hair colored lighter, but it started to clash with my skintone. A few days ago, Mom, her hairstylist (the same one who dyed it lighter) and I decided that it would look best red (which I've wanted all my life), so I picked a shade out of a magazine and the hairdresser said that it would work, if she put a bit of brown back in my hair, too. I agreed, of course, and when my hair was done I immediatly noticed that it was nearly all brown, with a hint of red that stayed for about 1 day or so. I didn't mention anything, mainly bcuz of the fact that it was such a big change and I didn't want to seem ungrateful. But now that I look in the mirror, I notice that my hair is all the way dark brown again. No red like we all agreed upon. It looks OK, but I've always wanted red, and I feel kinda ripped off now that my hair is brown again. I know that lots of people here are going to want to call me an ungrateful brat for sounding so picky, but please understand that this is something I've wanted my whole life, and my hairdresser apparently made a mistake. Our hairdresser just left for Mexico and Mom doesn't want to use dye it @ home with drugstore hair dye... and she also tries to avoid the topic every time I mention it. Am I just being too dang picky about my haircolor? Lol, trust me I don't mind if you think I am.
If not, should I tough it out for the year our hairdresser is in Mexico, should I try to talk to Mom about it.. again? Thanks for your opinions. No rude comments necessary.
