Should I Do My College Application On My Tablet Or On The Computer

What tablet should I get for college?

Cool, an easy one! The tablet I would get is a yellow legal tablet. As in the kind you write on. With a pen or a pencil. Cool, an easy one! The tablet I would get it is a yellow legal tablet. As in the kind you write on. With a pen or a pencil.First, there's strong scientific evidence that handwritten notes are far more valuable than typed notes (add a comment if you want info about this). Second, you won't be tempted to check out Facebook, email, or other social media, and thus distract yourself. Third, these cost less than a dollar if you buy them in a multipack:Amazon.com : TOPS The Legal Pad Legal Pad, 8-1/2 x 11-3/4 Inches, Perforated, Canary, Legal/Wide Rule, 50 Sheets per Pad, 12 Pads per Pack (7532) : Legal Ruled Writing Pads : Office ProductsYes, I making a bit of a joke about the word “tablet”. However, I'm 100% serious. When I was a grad student, I tried taking notes on my laptop. It was a bad idea, and I went back to notebooks. Paper notebooks, that is. The reason I'm more in favor of legal pads now is that you can tear off perforated pages, and put them in a 3 ring binder in the order that best makes sense for future study.Note that the linked pads are not legal pads in the traditional sense. Traditional legal pads are longer and the sheets wouldn't fit into a normal binder.

What would your life be like without a cell phone, a computer/tablet, and television?

I only just realised after reading this question, but I already do two out of the three.I used to have a phone back when I was 18 because my mother wanted me to have a phone while at university, but when I got my first job a year later I realised that no one actually ever called me and I never needed to call anyone. So I just left it on my bedside table......That was 6 years ago. I just checked and the phone's still there :)As for TV, (with the exception of the news) I stopped watching in Spring 2011 when they cancelled V (2009-2011 TV series). I was hugely disappointed and I started to question myself. "Why did I keep emotionally investing in things that kept being taken away from me." Every single time a great TV was cancelled (Pushing Daisies, Firefly, Deadwood, Carnivale), it felt like going through a break up. So I just decided to stop. I haven't watched a TV since.(Though I still watch TV shows on DVD, especially when I know they're going to be tied up properly, e.g. I just started watching True Blood (TV series)   because the last season has just been announced.)But giving up my computer/tablet would be hell. I do a lot of script writing and it would be so difficult to write it all out by hand (though I suppose I could get a typewriter like in the old days.)I could probably live without e-mail since my job doesn't require it. Likewise I stopped using Facebook and twitter a long time ago. But I think my biggest problem would be that I would be spending a lot more money. For example I listen to a lot of audiobooks. Without a computer I would have to buy them all on CD, which could cost loads. Also I'd have to switch all my cheaper digital magazines to the more expensive paper copies. Even clothes, books, DVDs are all usually brought from places like Amazon. Without Internet shopping, I'm guessing I would be spending far more of my monthly income on things that would usually be far cheaper online.

How do I get my Wacom drawing tablet to work on my computer?

Which tablet computer should I buy to take notes and write documents with when in university?

There is not one answer but there are some considerations. All tablets have note taking and composition capability. As you ask this question, I will assume that you are new to tablet computers.Price. The high end Android models are $5-600 (USD). The Apple models are even more expensive. The Pro models start at $700. Would you really feel comfortable shoving expensive equipment into your book bag and lugging it around the campus? On the other hand the basic 2017 Apple iPad costs a little over $300. It's a good value.I would avoid low priced Android tablets. They lack durability.Size. You will need at least an 8 inch screen. A 10 inch screen will give you more writing space but is a bit less portable. Most good note taking apps, Apple or Android, have easy scrolling so writing on an 8 inch screen is not a severe limitation.By design, the Apple iOS is a simplified operating system. It's easier to use from a non-geek perspective.I have four tablets. The oldest is an Apple mini iPad given to me by a cousin who upgraded. This is the one that I take to my adult Spanish class. I've loaded it with note taking apps, a Spanish/English dictionary and a translation app. It's fast enough for note taking and the dictionary is far better than a paper book. I lose it, or it is somehow damaged, I will not be terribly upset. It's good enough.

HELP?!?!?!?!?! with my kindle app on my tablet?

Where did you download the book? Did you buy the Kindle book at Amazon? If so, then maybe the download is incomplete or broken somehow - in this case you need to delete that book and re-download it.

If a friend with a Kindle used Amazon to loan you then book then you probably need to connect to Amazon to get it or validate the loan.

If you got the copyrighted book illegally from elsewhere then hopefully you haven't been banned from Amazon. Try deleting the book from your app.

To delete the book...

If your app is functioning to show the library list, use the app to delete the book. (on a touch Kindle that is hold finger on book title in library list and pick delete - maybe app works same way)

ELSE delete it manually....

- Close the Kindle app.
- There should be a folder on the tablet's MicroSD card containing your Kindle App's books. Open the folder.
Should be something like /sdcard/android/data/com.android.kindle/...
- Find and delete the book that caused the problem.
- Close other open apps
- Power off tablet, wait
(power off will assure all apps closed)
- Power on tablet
- Try the Kindle app now
