Should i dye my hair before or after cutting it?
I want to put highlights in my hair and i also want a new style should i color or cut first? Also i have all one length hair and im wanting to try the latest style with the side swept bangs i think it usually looks good on everybody do you agree?I desperately need a change what should i do?Thanks

Should you get a haircut before or after you color your hair?
It doesn’t matter if you cut before or after, but if you are cutting off a substantial amount of hair, it might be easier to cut first. Why color a lot of hair, if you’re going to cut it off.Although most directions still specify applying haircolor to dirty, dry hair, some manufactures have updated their directions to include a light shampoo before haircolor. We’ve been told that shampooing before haircolor removes oils that protect your scalp and even though bleach is more irritating that haircolor, there’s no reason not to do a light shampoo prior to any haircolor.Dry hair resists penetration. Water swells and softens hair. Damp hair pulls the haircolor into the hair for better and faster processing. A light shampoo before the haircolor also removes dirt, oil and coatings from conditioners, styling products and hairsprays.Although you should always read and follow the manufacturer’s directions, some manufacturers have updated their directions to include a light shampoo before haircolor.See my video, why apply dry, when wetter is better.
Should i die or cut my hair???
well whats up i just want to say that i wish i had hair like yours if you did die your hair i would go a tiny bit darker cause trust me your color is great i color mine once a month to get that color and cutting it cool i would totally get side bangs they are in right now but remember dont make them to short cause if they become out of style you'll luck out get layers on the front of your face give it more shape but yup i love your hair good luck if you want i would try a volumeizer just to give some lift if you do color it get it darker and get some highlights and lighter brown would work

Is it better to cut your hair then dye it, or vice versa?
Color it first, then cut it. Your ends are very porous and will absorb color quickly, which also gives them a tendency to dry out. By coloring first, you can trim away those dry ends when the color is done and your hair will look much healthier and shinier as a result.
