Should I Even Waste My Money On Eyebrow Threading

Should I even waste my money on eyebrow threading?

Threading is basically the same thing as plucking, just done much much faster, and by someone else. If you're able to accomplish the same look with plucking, and don't mind doing it yourself, then save yourself the money, or use it to treat yourself to a manicure or facial instead! =)

Is eyebrow threading worth the extra money?

Definitely.Actually, most eyebrow threading places are cheaper than salons that do waxing. Before, I always waxed my eyebrows and I would always end up with a huge rash all over my forehead. I decided to do threading and it’s even better than waxing.

Can I trust Asians to wax my eyebrows?

This isn't meant to be racist at all..Because I'm 13 and I want to get my eyebrows waxed. Do the Asians know what they're doing? They just seem really unprofessional because those salons are filled with only Asians..Do they know what they're doing? Or will they make my eyebrows really weirdly shaped??

Am I old enough to start plucking my eyebrows?

So, you are torn between tweezing, threading or waxing your eyebrows. Each has its positives and negatives, so it's a personal choice about which one to pick. The important part is knowing what you're getting into before you begin.

Decide if you're willing to spend money on having your eyebrows shaped. If you're not willing to spend money, tweezing your eyebrows at home is a great option. As long as you can deal with the pain, and have enough precision to pluck your eyebrows correctly, this is a great choice. Tweezing involves plucking eyebrows out one by one, which can get tedious, however, by doing it yourself, you have complete control over the shape of your eyebrows.

If you are willing to spend money, your best options are having your eyebrows waxed or threaded. Eyebrow waxing is great if you can deal with a few small bouts of pain. Generally less expensive than threading, this method allows the beautician to choose the new shape of your eyebrow before removing the hair by tracing the outline in hot wax. When getting your eyebrows waxed, you need to make sure that the wax does not get on your clothes, or it may stain them. Additionally, make sure that it does not get on parts of your eyebrows that you do not want removed, or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Eyebrow threading is ideal if you can deal with pain for a few minutes at a time. Threading is ideal for someone who wants a very precise shape, because the person doing the threading has the ability to be very careful while threading your eyebrows. The repetitive pain can become frustrating, but when you're done with the threading process, it's over, and there no leftover wax or anything to clean off of your face.

With whatever method that you choose, be prepared for some redness and soreness around your eyebrows afterwards.

I personally like waxing best and is what I've done for years. I can get the perfect brow shape is less than two minutes and it doesn't even hurt! Plus, it is way less expensive then threading. Plucking, I think takes way to long especially if you have a lot of hair to remove, usually the first time. I go to my local nail salon where waxing is also available and I'm out of there in two minutes for just six dollars. Every month or so is when I think is an appropriate time to go again. Good luck convincing your mom, oh and if you wanted to know, I've been waxing mine since I was 11.

Help, I keep ripping my eyebrows out when i'm stressed?

Does anyone else do this? These past few months I get really stressed and just pull my eyebrow hairs out. I am so pissed I used to have thick eyebrows that were nice but now I have tons of gaps. I need to fill some of them in with a pencil to avoid looking like an idiot. This is really depressing. What sucks is the hairs do grow back but they grow back in different directions and point outward instead of lie flat against my skin so I think I have ruined my eyebrows. Right now my only option is a 3-5 thousand dollar transplant but I think I need to rid myself of the habit first. **** my life...

What is the greatest thing about being single?

The question should be changed to 'greatest thingS' because there are so many! Can talk freely to whoever, whenever, however you want to. Nobody questions when and why you were talking to somebody.Save yourself from the hassle of gifts, dates, anniversaries and what not. (For a forgetful person like me, anniversaries will turn to disasters)All food, money, popcorn in the theatre, fries in McD, chicken wings in KFC for yourself. No sharing. Splurge on what you want. (In my case, clothes) Binge watch your favourite TV series at night, watch that football match, play XBox games with friends or just lie down like a walrus. No worries.Keep flirting, keep crushing. Who's going to question you?Groom for yourself and because you want to, not because anybody likes you clean shaven or bearded, long or short haired, waxed and eyebrows threaded and whatever. No arguing or persuading, cajoling, serenading and doing all things that relationships require people to do. Give true compliments and insults.Don't have to act mushy and do all that baby talking. Don't have to use words like sweetiepie, babydoll, sugar, cupcake, pastries, biscuits, carrot cake, jalebi fafda, besan ka laddoo and what not. Look all the ugly you want, nobody cares. Grow your hair out. Don't wax for ages and walk around like a proud grizzly bear. I say, look like Chewbacca. YOU ARE THE BOSS. (Actually wait, don't look like Chewbacca. You can't be scaring out people around you and then also remain single forever)This is the perfect attitude towards singlehood. Enjoy it while at it!

13 year old wants to get her eyebrows plucked/waxed?

I'd go with waxing for a first-timer. They shape your eyebrows correctly and after that you can just keep them up with tweezing. So much easier and less risky than doing them for your first time on your own. Waxing only hurts for a second or two, also, if that's a factor in your decision.

Anyhow, if you do choose to go with tweezing on your own, I urge you to buy a brow stencil. To find the right one, find a celebrity with a similar face shape as you (for example, my face looks like Leighton Meester's) and see how their eyebrows are shaped and buy a stencil similar to their eyebrow shape. If you don't want to buy a stencil, this is a super-helpful video on eyebrow shaping.
