Should I Follow My Interests To Have A Good Career

What career do I choose as I have no interest in the degree I am doing?

Find your interest first. No suggestions will work for you. Decide what you want to do in life and accordingly find a degree to follow. You can go to Career Pathfinder to read my article on how you can find your interest. If you have further question - please visit our site - Career Pathfinder-Career Counseling & Guidance Services In Delhi NCR or call on 9810160749.

Whats a good career to get into?

A degree in Business is a good one if you link it with another discipline as well. Every career has a business aspect so think about it.
On the other hand, better to research what types of industries are in growth and which ones may not have a future. The whole world of employment is changing so look at that rather than focus simply on what you want.
Might even be better to take a gap year, work at any job that is available and then you might have a better idea at the end.

I have no career interest plz help me?

Are you going to university? That may help you. My Uncle (as an example) did not decide what he was going to be until he had left uni. Don't rush yourself, give yourself time to understand what you are up against. There is a big world out there and within it are so many opportunities. What have you taken for A level? Now, speaking of my Uncle again, there are many options. What he did was take what he wanted to take instead of taking what suited what he wanted to be. He had not one clue, just like you (I'm sorry for comparing you to my uncle but it is the easiest way to explain). So he did what he wanted to and by the end of uni, looked at what he had got and decided his job around his degrees. If nothing interests you, perhaps you are rushing yourself. Just because you are in second year college does not mean you have to make a decision so quickly. I would advise going to university (I know it is not to everyone's tastes but that is up to you because we all have our own opinions) it will give you bigger, better opportunities and a larger range of options.
Just remember not to worry. Not matter how you are feeling right now it will come to you in the end and you will make a good decision but take your time would be a good tip.
Some people know exactly what they want to be from the moment they begin school (almost) some people have no idea. You are just one of those people.

Hope this helps you make your decision. And good luck with whatever you chose (because you will make a decision) x

Good career choices that fit my interests?

From what I've read, it isn't like it was years ago when a person stayed in one field their whole life- unless they chose to.

You can change later in midstream over to something else or do more than one occupation at the same time- related or unrelated at any time as often as you choose to! It is extremely common & a very creative way to consider for your life.

Photography & writing go together as a way to enter journalism or news reporting.

General writing or travel writing & photography can go together for travel writing or general magazine article writing or any form of writing on any subject.

Video probably fits in somewhere in the 2 career fields above or innumerable other fields of work.

Check out a junior college or regular 4-year college for a "career department" for ideas! Free! Also, these kinds of places offer free opportunities to take simple tests that are AMAZINGLY accurate occupational tests that tell you what your known or unknown talents & abilities are. They are so so fun!!!

Or talk to the librarian for endless good ideas for other sources or books or magazines to answer your question further. An excellent & fun book for this subject is called: "What Color Is Your Parachute?".

Don't forget to consider going into your own business- regular or non-profit or you might consider just becoming generally self-employed or becoming a paid volunteer. Considering the circumstances of this day & time, job loss would not be such a concern if you only answered to yourself doing some of the things that are mentioned in this paragraph either.

Considering how crazy this planet is getting, if I were you, I would ask the God of the universe for daily good advice on how to run your life. I promise, He will answer you & He will bless you HUGE for it!!! Don't be surprised.

:o)

What kind of career might be good for me?

I graduated from high school in 2008, I'm 21 years old.

Though I have never been tested for any learning deficiencies, I know I have a hard time in the classroom but an even harder time with online courses so in the classroom is what I have decided.

I was considering an ultrasound technician specializing in OBGYN or maternity if I can. However my interests have always been about how the baby grows inside the mother from conception to birth and everything in between. I'm always trying to learn more about what the mother experiences during pregnancy, what point in pregnancy, and why. Also I'm always trying to learn more simply out of curiosity about ovulation, menstruation, and pregnancy and how they all connect. My best and favorite class in high school was Child Growth and Development which I got A's in and I still retain much of what I learn even though I took that class 4 years ago when I was 17. It covered conception to age 3 of how a child both physically and mentally grows. At the time I took CGD and ECE the following year, I took the classes for future refrence to my own children that I plan on having and didn't consider a career in any of it. My high school had an actual preschool in it that I worked with real children in a real learning environment a few times a week. I did consider preschool teaching as a career but I don't think it's really for me and my main interests still lay with pregnancy. I don't think I could be a gyno unless it specialized in pregnancy.

So my questions:

What are some career options based on my interests?
What classes are usually required?
How many years of school does it take?

Thank you very much, and if you are a mommy to be, Congratulations!

Which career path to follow if I am a indecisive person?

100% agree with what Stefano Pe said. Get to know yourself, your strengths, your preferences, the things that make you tick. You may be indecisive, but you also have strengths.First of all, changing the narrative about yourself will do a world of difference. Instead of looking at yourself through the lens of indecisiveness, look at yourself through the lens of your strengths.Another thing to ask yourself is “What is it about a career in music or online personal trainer that attracts me?” and list those things out.I bet you will find some patterns or themes in things that attract you to those jobs/career fields. In short you need to get a better picture of yourself and it will unlock much more than you ever thought possible. Some tools you can use to help understand who you are:MBTIFree personality test | 16PersonalitiesStrengths Finder 2.0CliftonStrengths Solutions | gallupstrengthscenter.comSelf ReflectionI should note that just one of these tools does not act a single source of truth. Each tool helps you complete the “You” pie as I like to call it.It takes time to develop a clear picture of yourself but doing so will pay dividends your whole life.Once you go through this process you can make more informed decisions regarding your career.

What career path do I follow if I hold a BSc. in computing with accounting?

If you're not sure, do some internships to see what you want. No one can tell you what's best for you other than yourself. Otherwise I might just say whatever makes more money and you might take a job that you feel miserable in.

How do I evaluate my interests to decide my career path?

Hi,Being an Indian, I do understand your constraints . So let me brief you down about how your options fare. I would be answering your questions according to the numbers given to them.1. You have a job in an obscure company that pays you well.- Try contacting someone that works in the company. Go precisely through every point on their website and understand their area of expertise. Also BI(Business Intelligence) has been the recent trend, and analytics is more than likely to be a subset of it. Being someone who is interning currently in those areas. I believe you''ll find interest in BI as well.2.If you're genuinely interested in an MBA, CAT is a valid option. 93percentile is not bad but not good enough for the Tier-1 colleges as well. Convince your parents for another attempt and make sure you give your best this time. Another suggestion here would be to give other exams ( NMAT,XAT,IIFT,MAT) as well.3. You have diverse interests. I'm not well versed with Webdesign, but big data and analytics are really good. I'm still interning in the analytics field, and hope to understand the importance of big data in a short period. It is possible for a fresher to make a career, but i believe you should apply for internship in the first place and prove your mettle. That can help you in the long run and provide you with sufficient knowledge. M.tech from a premier institute is a good option as well considering the reputation of IIT's but mind you any place out there required you to put in enough hard work to succeed. 4. As mentioned earlier, I'm not into design, but comparing it to the other fields. I believe any institution out there focuses on your recent accomplishments and your career. If you're really interested, get a job or work in the design field and build your resume accordingly.Leave a message if you need anything else. Happy to help.Cheers.

I have interest in so many things and I want to become really good at all of them? What should I do? What routine should I follow?

I think it is very important for you to figure out your "niche". More specifically, one thing that you are more passionate about, than the others. Here's the criteria to filter and find the best thing:Choose something that you can do consistently.Choose something that gives you a sense of internal fulfillment when you do it.Choose something that you can monetize / develop yourself through. You may have to deal with a lot of confusion, trial and error and experiment a lot in the process.Realize too, that even if you do not want to get good at just one thing, but many things; you will have to get a hold of things one by one. So it would be better to focus all your energies and attention to one thing in the beginning. As and when you start getting good at that one thing, and gain some confidence, you will be able to learn other things as well.Best Luck! Should one go for interest or for money in choosing their career?

This one is simple!you can only earn money if the career you opted for interests you!one important thing which i want to add is first you should define your interest.if it is singing , photography or any other co curricular or sports activities then it can go hand in hand with the career you opted for! (if you are not that well enough so you cannot earn through those interests)opting for a career and getting through all of it is very tough if it doesn't interest you.if it is MBA that you seek just for money and the job profile of a h.r or be it finance doesn't interest you then you will surely fail!the career which you are interested for, go for it!best wishes :)
