CoD Ghosts won't launch?
I had the same problem when running CoD: Ghosts, PC is up to spec but for some reason it would not run. What I did to track down the error was 1 - Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer 2 - Look in the "Applications Event" and there should be an Error (red) for when the app crashed and an "Information" white just after it. 3 - In this information event there should be a link to an error log, go to this log and open it with Notepad etc - should be a .wep file. 4 - The last driver it tries to load is the one causing the fail. If it was nvdia dll you can go into your device manager and uninstall the driver, oddly this does work. 1 - Right click on Computer 2 - Click Device Manager (Requires Admin Access) 3 - Display Adaptors 4 - Right click on Nvida and click uninstall. Odd fix but seems to work.
I can't get to the Call of Duty Ghosts main menu?
The other day I turned on my Xbox One to go play COD Ghosts and it gets to the screen with the guy in the ghost mask, and just stops. The system doesn't freeze up, but I can't advance any further to actually play the game. This is a digital download and I have already deleted it and reinstalled. I tried to look up Activisions phone number and there's nothing, and when I click on customer support they give you a "chat" button that doesn't work. Any help?
Xbox one on release or wait..& COD Ghost?
You should wait. Cod isnt a very graphically demanding game, so there shouldnt be a massive difference between current and next gen. And its not like battlefield either where next gen is actually getting something different from current gen (24 vs 64 player servers). The content on both gens for cod will be the same, so its not a big deal if you skip. Also, its better to wait until theres a price drop and to see if there are any hardware issues that arise after launch. Remember the red ring of death for xbox 360? Oh, and I dont know if youve heard, but the rumor for the past couple of weeks has been that the ps4 will be able to run cod at a native 1080p resolution, but the xbox one will only be able to run at 1080p if it has been upscaled from 720p. So basically, if this rumor is true, then cod will look quite a bit better on the ps4 compared to the xbox one. Like i said, since cod isnt a very graphically demanding game, if the xbox one is already struggling to play games at 1080p, and especially a game like cod, then its going to have alot of issues down the road as more graphically intensive games start coming out.Its already been floating around that the xbox one version of battlefield wont look as good as the ps4 one either
Why did people hate Call of Duty: Ghosts?
I honestly don't think anyone "hated" Ghosts. It was a very good game, and the review scores show it. The word "hate" is thrown around far too much in the video game community by people who don't know what it's really like to play a bad game. A large portion of CoD players dedicate all of most of their gaming time to CoD, so, as a result, they only have other CoD games as a basis for comparison. Similarly, because games are so expensive, most people usually only play games that are of 8/10 quality or higher. It is true that Ghosts is probably the least good, and the least original, of the modern CoD titles, which is why people didn't like it as much. It's more of a 7/10 type game, so although it was still decent, it was just worse than what people were used to. But have them play Superman 64, or Ride to Hell: Retribution, and they'll know what it's like to actually hate a game.
Does Riley the dog die in Call Of Duty Ghosts?
So I watched some of the campaign gameplay on youtube today to see if it was going to be a repeat or not. It looks like a pretty good storyline but there is a make or break for me. Does the dog Riley die? I'm not about to have an emotional breakdown playing a video game!
I accidentally pre ordered cod ghosts for xbox one. will i be able to buy the game for xbox 360 when the card?
You can call them and cancel the Xbox One and instead the Xbox 360
