Do I need a sims 3 starter pack to use sims 3?
In order to enjoy The Sims 3 expansion packs, you first MUST have The Sims 3 (game base). Without the original game base, the expansion packs become useless. You may find "Deluxe" or "Double Deluxe" versions of The Sims 3, as these include the base game plus a selection of expansion packs... so they'll get you covered as well. As you asked... NO! YOU CANNOT MIX DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF SIM EXPANSIONS TOGETHER! The Sims 3 expansion packs will only with with The Sims 3, just like all The Sims 2 packs will only with with The Sims 2 & The Sims expansion packs will only with with the Original Sims. As you've noted, you have Sims 2: Double Deluxe (which includes the The Sims 2 base & a fair number of expansion packs) & Seasons... so you have the basic covered for The Sims 2. Bought the Sims 3 starter pack?
I bought the Sims 3 starter pack that comes with Late Night, High-End Loft Stuff, and the base game. I installed the base game but it wouldn't start so I asked my cousin who knows a little more about computers than me. I am now installing the Late Night disc to see if that will make it start. Am I doing it right or is something else the problem.

How to install The Sims 3 Starter Pack?
Origin is a poop! Just insert the CD and wait for a small window to pop up, it will probably show three files; press the top. Then a screen comes where you can download. If your so keen on using origin (Using origin you can download on several computers so yh, but it is a poop) then you have to press the little top right were it says origin. Then press redeem code. Put in the code and voila. Alternatively, go to The Sims 3 community, and login with ur exact origin log. Go to profile and down to games. Press enter code thingy, and do the code from game, and it will come on origin. You also get 1000 points when you get into the game. I recomend getting the multitab 5000 - you get up ur skill pretty quickly w tabcasts! Oh and if you want to be friends on Sims 3 community go IStoleUrCandy love xxx happi simmin

Is the Sims 3 Starter Pack an expansion or the real game with bonus expansions? Also, I heard that you HAD to install the Sims 3 with a disk and not digital download?? Difference between Sims 3 and Sims 3 starter pack?
The Sims 3 is just the base game. The Sims 3 Starter Pack has an expansion pack with it. You only need the base game to play but the expansion packs add more things to the game. I believe the one you're looking at has Late Night with it. Look at the Late Night expansion, if you like the stuff it adds (Vampires, bars, mixology skill, etc) then maybe you should get that. If not you only need The Sims 3.
What Sims 4 expansion packs are best?
I don’t have many packs, but I have made my choice.Get Together. It adds a nice new world and awesome social interactions. Two new skills, dancing and DJ. Clubs are just when it gets cool, if you like the social part the sims.City Living is good if you prefer Aspirations. I can’t say that San Myshuno is bad thought. Great city, but I don’t like festivals. The 3 new careers, social media critic and Political, aren't terrible.Get to work is okay. No big towns, the town it has is meant for retail but you can live on the one empty lot. 3 playable careers Doctor, science, and Dective. One profession retailer. Aliens are also in Get to Work, not too impressive.Vampires is super great, my second favorite. The town is small, but I love it!! Leveling up your vampire is great. Clothing is bad is vampires but it is cool.Spa day is cool. I suggest you should not get it. One of the smaller packs, it is great when it comes to cas.So I suggest Get together and vampires. Also i have been wanting outdoor retreat so you might like that!

I was planning to get a game to play with and I saw a game called Sims 3 when I watch some youtuber play it I want to get the Sims 3 but also people said that Sims 4 is better than Sims 3 and what kind of expansion pack should I get in Sims 3 or Sims 4?
