Should I get an iPhone 5s (2017)?
You really need to keep in mind the built in obsolesence that Apple applies. Very shortly you'll start getting software that it won't run. You'll also have the possibility of the battry failing, and the contacts on the SIM holder becoming unreliable. I would not buy an Apple product that is already a couple of years old when they have a design life of only around 4 years in the first place!
Should I get an iPhone 5s or a 5 in 2018?
I still use a 5S purchased on release day. The battery shows signs of getting weak, but I know I can spend 50 bucks on a new one, but I just charge it and don’t worry so much about it. As for the performance? Well, lets just say I have many friends with all the newer models, and I get to play with them on occasion.It’s no secret that each new model is indeed a little faster, has a new “Feature” or color, etc etc and it’s just what it sounds like. Tiny improvements.I played the game (and a fun one it was) from the second model 3 to the fourth model 4 and on to the 4S and 5 and finally 5S. It was fun to open the fantastic Apple package and set up each model. Know what? It was all for the thrill of about a day or two and then it was back to reality. The phones have been really good for quite some time. They work well for 95% percent of what anyone needs them to be.The phone I used before the iphone was a Star Tac and it was fantastic in it’s day.Why? It was tiny and provided me with a mobile device I deemed more of a security item than a communication device. Back then it was not about being on line, it was about being mobile.Things have changed quite a bit, but I’ll say it’s still the same goal here - to have something that’s not tied to a building or some hard line, and have it work when you really need it in a tough situation. All the other needs are just spoiled people counting numbers and filling some void they really don’t have.Do I want the newest? You Bet I do, but I also know I don’t really need it.Shouldn’t have to make this point, but a Hershey Bar get’s 98% of the job donewhen you know a 10 dollar bite of Boutique Chocolate is better. Should I get an iPhone 5c or a 5s?
When you can identify the features & specs of both the 5C and 5S and then know what your drivers are i.e: price conscious/driven, functionality, memory etc - you will be able to answer your own question. Search the Apple store to see the comparison and highlights for both phones or another great website which is Technology reviews, advice, videos, news and forums - PC Advisor. For whatever choice you make, my experience with an iphone is great.
IPhone 5 or iPhone 5c?
Which one should I get? I destroyed my iphone 4 (long story) and so I'm back to my basic phone until May. I recently got a job, and was planning on saving up to buy a smartphone off contract, and getting a super sturdy case for it too. I'm in between iphones, after seeing a friend of mine get the iphone 5s, with the finger print scan. I checked the iphone 5c and it doesn't have that, it has the simple button that's on previous generations. Anywho, I'd like to take a lot of photos/videos, recordings, and use it for texting and apps a lot. Which one should I get though iphone 5c or iphone 5? (I don't want Siri that's why I'm saying 5 instead of 5s) I did want the HTC ONE, but decided against making the switch to android after being with apple for so long.

I need some help I currently have an iPhone 5 I just got it about 2 weeks ago I really like it But now the iphone5s is out and my parents want me to get it and trade iPhone 5 in Is it worth it?? They are both the same price I wanna keep my 5 because I like the looks of it and a lot of people have. And I don't want to stand out with a 5s And there are also currently a greater variety of cases for the iPhone 5 But on the other hand I'm unsure if I want the new 5s I mean. The apps have a different appearance aNd I really don't like the way they look There aren't a lot of cases and it's realativly new so not many have it. And I don't want to stand out I like the look of the 5 more than the 5s also But they both are the same price. And my parents say they think its a better buy I'm afraid that I might regret it too if I don't trade it in Because in the future everyone will have it and I won't And it has new features like a fingerprint lock So I don't know which to. Iphone 5s vs iphone 5c?
Hey Cassy, I am so glad you asked this very good question. I have already had the 5c as well as I had the regular 5 and 4s before switching carriers. I must say that the 5c isn't much different at all from the 5 or the 5s. However, it depends on what you plan to us your phone for. For example, the 5s is supposed to have a better camera, which on you tube reviews you can see a very small difference between the camera on the 5s and the 5c. Also not only does the 5s have the fingerprint sensor, it also has Apples New A7 processor chip as opposed to the A6 processor chip found in the 5c and 5 phones. What this means is that the A7 chip is much faster beating every phone on the market in benchmark tests right now. This fast performance however will only be apple to be seen in apps that are 64 bit integrated which majority are not yet. And if you are a heavy gamer, then the 5s would definitely be for you, being your games will move much better and less sluggish. Also the 5s is loaded with a M7 processor chip, which will help with movements, for example when you are driving, your phone will be able to better determine that you are driving, and will begin the gps.map features for you, it will also monitor any exercising apps better. Other than that, no difference lol!! Apple is actually playing us apple lovers once again, by slightly changing things about the phones, but yet leaving the screen the same size, the battery is pretty much the same, they claim longer lasting for these two new phones, but again, I saw no difference in battery lasting in the 5c. So if you are a gamer, and wanna be ready for apps that will be 64 bit, then go 5s, if not go 5c lol!!! Hope this helps :) Melanie
IPhone SE or iPhone 5S?
iPhone 7 is on it's way, but I want to get a new phone. For now the budget I have is clearly for iPhone 5S 16GB , but it makes me not to consider it for the fact that it may become outdated asap, while iPhone SE would last for two to three more years even if it gets discontinued by Apple. This is probably going to be my very first iPhone. I had used beast phones like Samsung S3, Note 4 and a useless HTC One M9Plus. I sold the M9Plus because I got bored of it [stupid mediatek chip and stuck with android 5.0.2] , my Note 4 doesn't work anymore for which I really feel bad [I loved that phone so much :( ] , so now I'm stuck with S3 with Cyanogenmod 13 [Marshmallow]. For some reason, I want my next phone to be an iPhone, but considering that I have a budget, I want to get the SE which probably drops after the iPhone 7 event. So should I go for the SE or 5S or should I hope for iPhone 6 to drop too?
Should I get the iPhone 6 or...?
Hi. So my phone is ready for an upgrade, and right now I have an iPhone 5. The home and lock screen buttons are basically broken (or almost broken) and so I NEED a new phone. I can't decide if I should get an iPhone 6 or just an iPhone 5c or 5s... What are your opinions? And please don't tell me to switch to a different company besides Apple because I am not going to do that at this moment. Thanks! :)
