Should I Get This Sims Expansion Pack

What sims 3 expansion pack?

SO... I already have the Sims 3 (obvs.) and I also have generations and I was wondering...What expansion pack should I get? Here's my run down;

I like the look of Word Adventures basically because of the mini games/adventures but there is very little buy/build stuff.

Late night has a lot of stuff and vampires and more clothes and another world, but the apartment/penthouse things are small and becoming a celebrity looks long and tiresome

Ambitions looks a bit boring overall so I'm not going to go into detail on that

Pets looks amazing and with not many downsides and with the horses and all that stuff it looks completely amazing but, I've heard it's buggy like it was witn TS2.

Showtime isn't yet out so I don't want that and it only looks like it will work well with late night.

So, opinions please?

What sims 2 expansion pack should I get?

Of the expansion packs you named as ones you want to get, I think University or Seasons are the best. University opens up a whole new age group, Young Adults, and also, you can send teenage Sims to college-- one of three, La Fiesta Tech, which is a desert locale not too unlike Strangetown; La Tour Academie, which is a Ivy League-type school (no frats or sororities here, unfortunately); and lastly, Sim State University.

Seasons is cool because it gives you weather and seasons (natch!). It also allows you to garden and fish, which can be cool. If you make meals with the fruits, veggies, and fish that you've harvested from your garden, it gives a slight boost in the hunger need.... which is always good! Seasons also adds several new careers, which can be nice.

Bon Voyage is about my third favorite, but I wouldn't get it until AFTER getting Seasons. That way, you'll be able to have weather and seasons on your vacation destinations-- which adds to the fun, if you ask me.

Freetime is good, but it's sort of redundant towards Seasons. Like that expansion, it adds a few new careers, and also allows you to sew and use a pottery wheel, tinker with your electronic equipment, etc. But of the four you named, it's my list favorite.

Okay, for sites. First of all, because it's comprehensive, Wikipedia's entry on The Sims 2 University (you can get to the other expansion packs with the link at the bottom of the page!): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sims_2:... . Next, because sometimes reading from the source gets you the most information, EA's site on the game, at http://thesims2.ea.com/about/ep1_index.p... . Because it's a pretty good, comprehensive FAQ/Strategy Guide, Strategy Wiki's site for the game at http://strategywiki.org/wiki/The_Sims_2:... .

I hope this has been some help to you! If you have any further questions, feel free to add me as a contact, or to e-mail or IM me. I'll be happy to help!

Congrats on your new daughter, and your husband will be in my prayers until he gets safely home from Iraq-- as well as your family continuing to be. My brother's over there right now, and I definitely sympathize about how hard things can be for the families back home (yes, I checked your profile-- was curious about your sign-in name!).

What Sims 4 expansion packs are best?

I don’t have many packs, but I have made my choice.Get Together. It adds a nice new world and awesome social interactions. Two new skills, dancing and DJ. Clubs are just when it gets cool, if you like the social part the sims.City Living is good if you prefer Aspirations. I can’t say that San Myshuno is bad thought. Great city, but I don’t like festivals. The 3 new careers, social media critic and Political, aren't terrible.Get to work is okay. No big towns, the town it has is meant for retail but you can live on the one empty lot. 3 playable careers Doctor, science, and Dective. One profession retailer. Aliens are also in Get to Work, not too impressive.Vampires is super great, my second favorite. The town is small, but I love it!! Leveling up your vampire is great. Clothing is bad is vampires but it is cool.Spa day is cool. I suggest you should not get it. One of the smaller packs, it is great when it comes to cas.So I suggest Get together and vampires. Also i have been wanting outdoor retreat so you might like that!

How can I get free expansion packs on The Sims 4? I'm happy to pay for the actual game I just don't want to buy all the expensive expansion packs.

So what you are telling us, is that although people have worked to make expansions, you do not want to pay for their efforts, but have them give them to you for free? People spent time working on these so you could have more fun with the Sims, shouldn’t they get compensation for their work also? Expansions are just that, extra work that people have done to make the game more fun. It is NOT a necessary part of the game, yet you expect them to give it to you free. The only time I have ever gotten something “free” from a game. is when it is a special gift, for pre ordering a game. Basically to entice someone to purchase a game ahead of time. I know of NO company that gives away ‘free” things, just because a customer ‘wants’ them.

Which expansion pack should I get for The SIMS 4, Get Famous or Seasons?

Hurry up and get both, they’re half price on Origin until January 11!But, if you had to choose:Seasons make the game more life-like and realistic (it gives the feeling of time actually passing instead of constant good weather). The effects are really pretty, specially the snow, and Sims are affected by the weather. There’s a calendar with holidays like Harvestfest (Thanksgiving) and Winterfest (Christmas/Hanukkah) or Love Day. There’s new gardening and outdoor activities like skating rinks. It’s really cute and a great EP if you play a lot with families and kids.Get Famous in the other hand is career-oriented and a cool EP if you play a lot with young adults. It features a fame system with perks, new social media interactions and new careers. The actor career is really nice, it’s an active career and you actually go with your Sim on set. You also have the option to be self-employed and become a famous vlogger, DJ or writer. It brings a new glitzy world, Del Sol Valley, which mimics LA. It only has 11 lots but it’s visually impressive, specially if you have a mansion in the hills.I know, tough choice…

Which Sims 2 Expansion Pack Do U Get Skylights?

and which catagory do u get da dem in oh and i see on modthesims2.com people have skylights that dont require expansion packs!! oh and where can i get sims 2 pets and university i cant find them in stores!! ANYONE WITH GOOD ANSWER GET BEST ANSWER!!!

What Sims 4 Expansion pack should I start with?

Strictly sticking to expansion packs: my personal favourite is City Living, followed by Get to Work and Cats & Dogs. Get Together has a nice new world and build items but I never got into the club thing. The weather effects in Seasons are really cool but I still have to play more to see how much it brings to actual gameplay.City Living: my favourite for totally subjective reasons. It adds a new urban world where Sims can live in apartments and penthouses. Being a city dweller myself it’s the one I relate to most. It adds three new careers (politician, critic and social media) that give you the option to work from home. It also adds lot traits (I’m not sure that’s been included in a free patch as well?). Your Sims can acquire the singing skill and earn some money busking in the street, as well as sell their art, handicrafts and collectibles, even at a yard sale on their lot.Get to Work: Adds three active careers where you follow your Sims to their workplace: detective, doctor, and scientist. They can also purchase and operate a retail store. I’m not sure if purchasing and operating a restaurant is included in Dine Out or is a feature of Get to Work. It adds aliens and an alien world that Sims in the astronaut career can explore.Cats & Dogs: obviously adds cats and dogs which is super cute (they are not controllable though as in The Sims 3). Pets have traits though and can be trained. Sims can open and operate a vet clinic. It also add a very nice coastal world.Get Together: Sims from child can form clubs where you customize rules, activities and locations (say, an all-girls book club at a library). I’ve never got much into it but I know other players love. It add a DJ skill and dance skill, and a new dance club venue type, and a very nice new world inspired by Northern European cities.Seasons: The main future of course are Seasons with their corresponding weathers and temperatures that will affect your Sims. There’s also a calendar with holidays that can be customized and seasonal activities. There’s a new gardening career and flower arrangement skill, and Sims can keep bees. Overall there’s a lot of focus on gardening which has been much improved. No new world though. All in all it depends on your gameplay style, but hope this helps.
