Windows 7 VS windows 10?
Hallo guys There is an issue hear i would like to talk about. As most of you might already know Microsoft has already already announced windows 10 a few days ago. I am a windows 7 user and i a have been using it for years now and have got tired of it and i now want a change. I am planning to upgrade to windows 10 once it comes out but my question is will windows 10 be better than windows 7? Or will it be a dumb like windows 8? I hope some of you may have some idea since you have seen the technical preview Microsoft has released on windows 10 a few days ago .

Rule of thumb for Microsoft... every other operating system they make is bad. Example: Windows 98 - good Windows 2000 - eh Windows XP - excellent Windows Vista - horrible Windows 7 - great Windows 8 - amazingly horrible Its a trend that they have unfortunately developed. Windows 8 is 'okay' for basic users that just check facebook and email, and do nothing else on the computer. But for students, businesses, gamers, etc Windows 8 is a nightmare. Its not fully developed and its full of bugs and glitches. I'd say its another year or two before it'll work smoother. Windows 7 has been out for quite some time now and most of the kinks have been worked out. It works well for almost everyone, and most colleges, and many businesses have now upgraded to Windows 7. Almost all software programs are Windows 7 compatible. For Windows 8, not so much. Hope this clears things up. -Justin

FINAL ANSWER: Still Windows 7I prefer 7. But 8.1 is also okay.Honestly, during recent days I feel like my favorite is Windows 10. Then something happens... I come to myself.Windows 7 is uncomparable. I have installed more than 10 security products. Many many other software. 100's... It is so good. Windows 8.1, not that much. Ok if you are planning to be a decent user. But if you are going to go wild with you OS, Windows 7 is the way to go.

You'll need to go into the BIOS to disable secure boot or enable legacy BIOS. Lets first get the basics right.Windows 10 is actually an improved/updated/modified version of Windows 8.x. And Windows 8.x is nothing but an improved/updated/modified version of Windows 7. So, by definition Windows 10 has the most mature code & technologies as of today.The most important attributes one looks for in a operating system are usability, stability, security, performance & features. And as of today, Windows 10 has the best of the lot. But since each operating system was designed with a specific set of goals in mind, we can't just directly compare each other. Let me elaborate.Windows 7 is a pure desktop OS. It is meant for regular desktops & laptops. And it works pretty much perfectly on supported devices. But it's old.Windows 8.x was designed for touch-enabled devices. It's intention was to spur the adoption of touch-enabled devices. But it failed miserably, as people didn't want to touch enable their laptops/desktops. And without touch, it was a nightmare to use on regular laptops/desktops.Windows 8 is pretty much unusable on non-touch devices & it is a failed OS (poor market share). So, don't touch it!Windows 10 was designed to run like Windows 7 on regular laptops/desktops. And works like Windows 8 on touch-enabled devices like tablets. And the best part, it works almost exactly like Windows 7 on regular laptops/desktops.Hence, we don't need to use the old Windows 7 anymore. i have a HP Envy h8-1534 with windows 8 and most of my games cant play on a computer with windows 8 (example: Command and Conquer) is there anyway i could download windows 7 or windows XP, if so could someone leave a link?

Windows 10 is a mess! My internet connection keeps messing up. I'm saving up for a Mac. I'm fed up with broken, dirty Windows!
