Should I Give Her Money To Buy Medicine

Do you give money to homeless people?

I have. I don't give much nowadays unless it's pretty obvious they need it because in Detroit, it's a hustle and you'll see actual people pull up in cars, park them down the street then go to their post and set up their signs and whatnot lol! I give based off my gut reaction to them. Sometime I can tell if they just want drugs because they will be very franticky with it like Please, PLEASE!! Please!! And i'll say "sorry, I just got my card."

One time last week, this able bodied younger guy was sitting outside where I park and was asking everyone to give him money because he needed a bus ticket to another town because his daughter was gravely ill. BS! If that were the case, his family or friends would buy him the ticket.

I remember giving $20 back when I was like 20 to this guy at the gas station. He did the Crackhead Shuffle down the street and turned around and grabbed his crotch and gave me the finger.

I felt real stupid.

Can money buy everything?

There is a saying, “Money makes the world go round.” There is some truth to that statement. After all, it takes money to buy food, obtain clothing, and pay for rent or buy a home. “The role of money in society is incredibly important,” . If money was removed as a means of exchange, we would be in a state of panic and war within a month. But money has its limitations. Norwegian poet Arne Garborg said thatMoney can buy a bed, but not sleep.Money can buy medicine, but not health.Money can buy food, but not appetiteMoney can buy a house, but not a home.Money can buy a leisure, but not a peace.Money can buy amusement, but not a happiness.Money can buy a Jokes, but not a laughter.Money can buy a position, but not respect.Money can buy a clock, but not time.Money can buy books, but not wisdom.Money can buy a companions, but not friendship/family.Money can buy servants, but not faithfulness. You see, money is not everything!

What are some things money can't buy?

People are my passion, and I' very fortunate to  meet 100's of people every year, from every walk of life, success level, social status, nationality, education level, religion, and views on life. Among them are some very wealthy people, each of them as unique as their story on how they came to wealth. Below I'll describe their stories in one sentence for each one. Money in itself has no power, but it becomes powerful when a person makes a god out of it. When money becomes the center of ones universe, it makes the person do strange things, their entire living revolves around it, their shtick explaining what it does is somehow paranoid, but nevertheless very convincing. When others join that universe they get swept up in the centripetal force of it, and usually end up in a black hole. Here are some of my aquaintences:this person owns acres of resources rich land, but waits for the prices of land to raise to the maximum before selling, so lives in a home on wheels, getting by on food stampsthis person believed in getting a hefty inheritance, so he never married, never had children so he wouldn't have to share his money with them. In the last 20 years of his life he owned one outfit, lived on hand outs from others, the house was a shack, and he died without any inheritancethis person grew up in an a house the size of a shed, later in life made oodles of money, lived like a king, later in life got into drugs and lost it allthis person made his fortune playing sports, invested wisely, is known worldwide for his generous heartthis person was born into money, never worked a day in his life, thinks he is the most miserable man that ever lived, because has no real friends, only people who love him when he treats them to material things they themselves can't/won't buyI'd like to answer the question with a little twist, the perception of the people who have all the money in the world, but are still lacking something. So here it is:money is not a substitute for a ugly charactermoney can't buy true friendshipsmoney can't buy sincere love/affectionmoney can't buy common senseor cultureor mannersor erase bad personal habitsor respector make someone truly like youCheers!Angie

Would you give money to homeless people knowing that they might use the money to buy more drugs?

Never again. A supposedly homeless person who I tried to help broke into my house. Earlier she had asked me to pay for her car payment. She was living in her car. Then she came back and helped herself to my belongings. I don’t know if she was doing drugs. She got into my diabetic supplies and took all the insulin needles.

My parents won't give me any of the money that I make. What should I do?

I’m going to go a different route here and say listen to your parents. They are not taking your money and using it on themselves, they are waiting until you are mature enough to be able to spend your hard-earned money wisely.Quite frankly, as a parent, if my child took money to buy drugs with it, I would probably be just as cautious as your parents.Work on building back the trust between you and your parents. Don’t do anything behind their backs like open another account (or attempt to) because you are still a minor. That will also cause more tension between you and your parents which will further work to destroy your relationship. As long as they are not doing anything with your money, then I assume it is going into savings for you to have when you turn 18. Think of the money you will have when you turn 18. Hopefully by then, you will have learned how to use your money wisely.Buying drugs is very serious. Think how your parents must feel. They are trying to protect you from making serious mistakes that can damage your present and your future. They made a rule, you broke their rules, and now these are the consequences. They are still your parents and still in authority. Respect that, and perhaps soon you will win back their trust.

I want to donate some money, but I don't want to give it to a charity organisation or a temple. I really want it to make it available to poor and needy people but I am not sure how. What would be the best possible way?

If you have one percent doubt on giving money to someone then dont give money to them. I will tell first " what you should not do" and "what you should do"what you should not do:dont give money to poors directly because they can misuse of it.dont give money to illiterate people because they also can misuse of it.dont give money to whom you dont trust fully.dont give money to such trust and organisation which is not transparent because you will be not able to see what is happening with your money and also there are many trust and organisations, not all which uses to cover black money and other things.what you should do:give money to such person, organisation where you will be knowing of each penny, where its going. It should be transparent also, always look for that your money is going on that path where you wanted to, its mean for good consequences. Then only your money will help someone really in this corrupt world.some lines about me:my name is suraj and i am from bihar. By the grace of god i became an engineer and doing job in IT company but i am leaving my job because to help people.
