Should I Go To Work Tomorrow

What time should I go into work tomorrow?

So I forgot what time I was supposed to go in and I'm not going to call to ask because my boss already hates me since I make a lot of mistakes. (I started working there two weeks ago and I know for a fact I'll be getting fired very soon with all the mistakes I make). Since I am in school (I'm 16) my shift is obviously going to be in the late afternoon/evening. When I was getting interviewed, I told my boss that I could get there at four for the most part soo... Should I just go in at four like usual?

Should I go to work tomorrow or not?

I work at a fast food place and have for five years now. I'm supposed to be the maintenance guy/porter. We only have 2 people trained to open and one of them quit today, and instead of finding someone to cover her tomorrow, they expect me to do it. I was supposed to have this weekend off. I get like one weekend off a year and this was going to be it.
I never call in, I've never been late, I always end up staying late, and any time there is a problem there it somehow seems to affect me directly and has the entire time I've worked there. I'm tired of their inability to staff the store being my problem. I had requested tomorrow off so I want to just not show up since it's in writing that I put this request in a month ago.

I want to quit, but at the same time, I don't know how easy it would be to find another job. I've worked there for so long that it's easy to me but I'm so tired of getting taken advantage of all the time like this.

By me not showing up tomorrow, I would hope that my boss would realize the frustration of my position and how much she relies on me but doesn't appreciate me. But I doubt that's going to happen. I don't want to get fired and I'll likely only get written up, but since I'll never be promoted, it doesn't matter anyway.

What would you do if you had to be at work tomorrow at 9 am but knew you were going to be fired at 10:30?

I had a two day head's up before my termination. Getting an email for an important meeting on Wednesday for Friday morning at 7am with the boss. The writing was on the wall.I worked graveyard so I had to pretend everything was fine for two days. I didn't sleep well to begin with and throw this pressure at me led to about 3 hours of sleep over two days.I talked to my direct managers try to pick their brain; seemed clueless to what I was talking about (95% sure they were telling the truth).I talked to the two other people in the meeting to see what they were thinking. They thought it was happening too. Went over possible scenarios of what else could happen and we kept coming to the same conclusion.I spoke to a few of the people who worked under me who would take over my duties and gave them a heads up. They'd be coming into a shit show on Friday night and better to let them have some preparation.During my breaks, I worked on my resume to prepare for the inevitable. After I was gone I wasn't going to have access to job descriptions and it's easier to copy and paste then try to remember everything.I password protected everything I made that others would use after I was gone. While I wasn't going to take it away from them 100% they weren't going to be able to make any changes in the future to the layout. Petty, sure, but I made them for myself to make my job easier.I also cleared out the few personal belongings that I had in the shared office including the only clean copy of the team member database on a flash drive. The company had gone to all digital files several years earlier and I was the only one on property with the ability to reset and fix errors that occurred.Other than that, I just tried to act like nothing was happening. I wasn't 100% certain I was a dead man walking so there was no point in getting the employees riled up.Then on Friday morning I was let go along with two others as our position was eliminated.

Do I have to go to work tomorrow?

I have not worked in a week.I'm in a position where I can work as I want.Do I have to go in?I have to pay the company , not the Co. pays, me, as I drive for a car service.I have to come up with the weekly Fee, other then that I do not have to work.

The point , should I go in? Should I stay home and play with the computer or should I go out and earn some cold cash.I'm bedeviled by the question.

Should I go to work tomorrow even though I'm sick?

You should never go to work if (a) you are going to give off a very sickly image or (b) you might be contagious. You want to preserve a healthy image at work and obviously you never want to get your co-workers sick.

As far as you and your health, it sounds like you need a little bit more rest. I don't know what you have, but if you need an antibiotic, that will get you back in shape very quickly. [Recently my daughter had a cold and the first visit the doctor sent us home; about 3 days later the doctor counted the number of days this had been persisting and said "time for the antibiotic"].

Should i go to my last day of work to tomorrow?

So I got hired for this new job and I start Saturday. I gave my 2 week notice to my new job last week and took a 5 day vacation. However they scheduled my last day to work is tomorrow. A night shift from 2-830pm. I figured since it is my last day and I am on now. What is really the point of going?

The only reason I want to go is just to get my check and leave. Should I just do that? Just quit and say let me get my check? They can not not give it to me.

Or be a little less cruel not go tomorrow and get my check Saturday after I get my new job.
OR

Just go to work. Put in the extra 6 hours of work and get paid.
Like crap they make my last day on a Friday night? No one else will be working but me and a manger.

Do any of you not really want to go to work tomorrow?

To be perfectly honest, I want to quit my job. I only took it because I needed health insurance. But I really don’t like it. I don’t like anything about it, except for -maybe- 2 people in the office who are generally nice people. The office gets hot (even in winter) due to flawed office design. The pay is low. Benefits are ridiculous (we’re not allowed to take paid vacation and sick days in our first year). The atmosphere is oppressive. You feel judged, distrusted and disrespected. And did I mention I spend 300 dollars a month just on parking and driving there???I’m going to work there a few more months and quit. I’ll save a few thousands more dollars - enough for a trip to South America in the summer- and I quit…

What time do I work tomorrow?

It's your day off. Go ahead and sleep in then enjoy the day.

I just broke my glasses and I have to go to work tomorrow?

I can barely see my computer screen as I type this (I'm seriously squinting about three inches away from the darn thing)

I've had my glasses for about a year, and they've been good. I took them off to clean the lenses, gently like I normally do, and the arm just broke off! Not from a screw or anything, just the metal broke.
They are the kind with no bottom frame, so they have an almost fishing wire type thing holding the lenses in place.
My insurance only covers the exam, not the lenses or frmes, so that's why I have only the one pair...

I have work tomorrow, and I really can't see anything more than a blur. What do I do? It's after midnight, so it's too late to call in tonight. I work closing shift (2:30 - 11) so should I just call in the morning? Will that give them enough time to find somebody to take over my shift?
Is "I broke my glasses and can't see" a good enough excuse for calling in and missing work at the last minute? I work in a deli, aroud knives and a lot of sharp equipment in a small space Not being able to see is a seriously dangerous thing there.

I've only been working there for three weeks and this is my first job and I desperately need all the hours I can get! Please help!

Should I listen to my doctor and not go to work tomorrow?

Let me start off by saying I have hypoglycemia. I suffer from low blood sugar. And I was at work this afternoon and I could tell my blood sugar was low (all the symptoms I used to have when it was low) I was very close to blacking out. I was in the break room crying in such pain not feeling well knowing I had to go to the hospital. Because no one would take the rest of my shift even though I had only 3 hours left. They wouldn’t let me leave. I’ve never called in, never been late, and it’s in my files about my low blood sugar. I told the manager that I really had to go to the ER and to try to get this figured out because it used to be so bad that I would stand up and black out. The coworkers started going off saying if I have a job that I should work. And they said that I was faking it. The manager was very disrespectful towards me telling me to just leave in a very rude manner. When I begged her to help me find someone to cover my shift and she wouldn’t help me but she was joking around with the other coworkers the whole time I was there. I went to the er and my blood sugar is supposed to be a 90 or higher. My blood sugar was 70. I was severely dehydrated also. I got an iv, medicine, and lots of juice. The doctor excused me for today but also wrote me another one excusing me for two days to get my heath up. Should I listen to him? And work on my health? Because tomorrow we are supposed to be super busy. What do you think I should do?
