Which side should I pierce my nose?
I have a really small indent on the right side of my nose and people have always told me that it looks like a misplaced nose piercing. Now that I wanna actually pierce my nose, I can't decide which side to do it on...the side that has a small scar resembling a pervious nose piercing or the left side that has no scars. Please help me!!!
I have a cold. Should I still pierce my nose?
I have had a cold for a week now, and I'm pretty sure it's begginning to end, but I still have some boogers in my nose and a cough, but it's much better than it was. My question is, will I get an infection if I pierce my nose now, or should I wait another week to get it done? Thanks everyone!

You don't. Go to a body piercer. Doctors aren't prepared to do it either. If you can go to someone that is only a body piercer, not tattoo artist/body piercer. Besides avoiding infection, you'll get better jewellery, better placement, better overall aesthetic, with a better cost/benefit ratio.It is your health. Sterilizing equipment, good jewellery and good training isn't cheap. Don't search for the cheapest. You will get a cheap job. I know people who did it on their own and it worked fine. But i know many more that got crappy jewellery that gave them allergies, crappy placement and/or infection.DIY gets more views on Youtube when it goes right. But it doesn't show actual success ratio.

If I were you, I'd get pierced during the summer break from school. That way…your piercing will be healed to the point that you can wear a see through stud in your piercing since I don't think you can get pierced with a clear stud or leaving your jewelry out which means your piercing can close on you.

Hey, I need some help. I'm going to have my nose pierced pretty soon, around spring break, probably. What side should I pierce? For the record- I don't care about the "rules"-like if a guy pierces a certain ear, he's gay, etc. (Tons of guys in my school have both ears done, and I doubt they're all bisexual, haha!) That said, a lot of people suggest things like going to the side opposite of your bangs. Mine go to the left side of my face. BUT, I have some small freckles on both sides of my face. Should I go for "balanced asymmetry" and pierce the right? I normally turn to the right in photos... How can I re-pierce my nose at home?
I got my nose pierced on the side, not the septum....and I have not worn a stud in it for almost a week now....it is closed up....and if you answer that I should not do it at home, and that I should go back to the shop where I got it....then is it OK to get it repierced in the exact same spot? Will it hurt if I do that?

How long should I wait to re-pierce my nose?
I had my nose pierced in January and it was doing fine till it started to get infected. Instead of tending to it like a normal person I basically ignored it thinking that it'll just heal by itself, but it developed a bump and later turned into a keloid (I think. Its a huge bump). Last night piercing fell out of my nose and when I got back home to be able to soak it in alcohol it wouldn't go back and and my skin kept rejecting the piercing, and the bump is still there. I love my nose piercing so much sooo.. how long should I wait to repierce my nose? And will I be able to do it in the same spot or should I be doing it in a different spot?
Should I have a friend pierce my nose?
Sooo, one of my best friends has an older sister who has pierced her nose on her own before, and has offered to pierce mine the same way she did hers. Hers is really healthy and it didn't get swollen and she says it didn't hurt (only the last layer of skin, a little bit). I'm not sure if I should let her pierce my nose...Help!? :))
