Should I Spend Almost All My Money Within A Weekend

How to stop spending so much money?

I have always had a problem of spending too much money on things I don't need. My biggest issue is buying new clothes. Last year I had a full time job and spent almost all my pay on clothes, besides what I spent on rent and bills. Now I am only working part time and I don't have that much money but I still have the impulse to spend it on clothes or material possessions when I get paid. Sometimes I don't have enough to cover my whole rent or pay for the TV/Internet. I don't know what to do, can someone please give me advice?

Trump spends almost every weekend at his golf resorts yet criticized Obama for too much golf. What gives?

You do realize President Trump has already done more in his first 60 days than any living president has done in there first 6 months right? He’s also not taking weeks off at a time…were talking about a couple days a week… I dont slight any president for taking time off..I never slighted Obama in fact..who clearly was NOT my President.. what gets sticky is how and when they act when terrible things go down.. like mass shootings, or Katrina type events…. and how they act and correspond then to them..Often none of this interrupted a good golf game for Obama… and no words mentioned by him…That being said.. I think its important rather than to witch hunt these people after there first 2 days in office.. it would do us far better if we allowed what you deem is an issue to even remotely develope

If you had $100k to spend it with a friend over a weekend, what would you do?

My answer is going to surprise you and probably disappoint you as well. If I had $100,00 US, I’d spend it on a covert rescue mission.I have a very dear friend who Is from a third world country that is on the virge of civil war. Her parents and brother and other family members are stuck in the middle of this, and are the minority party that is being persecuted by the majority population there.I’d spend that $100,009 on finding some very skilled former military personnel with a particular set of skills to smuggle these people out of that hell hole before everything turns to shit and blood.

I spend all my money on my girlfriend is this bad?

I've been buying a lot of things for my lovely girlfriend lately . But to come think of it .. I'm broke . And I don't & can't really spend money on her anymore . I had $800 in my checking spent almost all of it on her & now I'm using my credit card. She's a very demanding girl & I always like to get her what she wants . We were at the yesterday & she went shopping at forever 21 , she spent about $250 and asked me to pay for it . I told her it's not a problem and she smiled at me and said good . I love her a bunch but as u can see this is turning into a problem . I'm 19 & already having bad credit . My dad threatened to take my credit card away from me . My girlfriend doesn't work , but I do and I work 2 jobs. She expects me find time to hang out with her at the same time , it's very hard . I don't wanna lose my girlfriend , without her I wouldn't know what to do . I grew up around all girls , having 3 sisters , a mom and a step mom. So I never really had guys around . So forgive me if I'm being to giving to my girlfriend . It's just how I was raised . My sisters always told me to respect women and give them what they want . But this is just getting hard.

Is it bad that i spend all my money on clothes?

I'm 19 and in college with a small part-time job at J. Crew and a crappy allowance from my parents. I don't have to pay for gas, car payment, insurance, tuition, food, anything really, but i am ALWAYS left with nothing at the end of the month because almost all of my money goes to clothes. I have tried to just be happy with what i already have, but i always want more. And it's not like a get my clothes somewhere cheap like American Eagle or even J. Crew, it's like I always really want the shoes that cost like 600 dollars, Dior Homme denim, cashmere cable knit, and Cartier watches. How can i save some money? One of my friends said that if i go through all of my clothes and clean out everything that i know i don't wear but i keep because it was really expensive it will somehow make what i have seem more important so therefore i will keep? I don't know, I don't think that I am a shopaholic, I just have been spoiled by my parents and when i got to college they started to pull in the reigns a little bit more. Or since I am young should I just continue to spend like i do, it's not like i am creating debt for myself.

Money spent in basis and ait?

During BCT you won't need to spend any at all and will have very little chance to spend any. But in AIT, you will have opportunity and you will also be out from under the all watching eye of the Drill Sergeants. Don't let yourself go crazy and you can save a lot of money. You will not have to spend any money on food or lodging so you can save a lot there. Your friends are going to want to go out to eat because they are bored of the DFAC. Don't give in. You will have some expenses such as your regular personal hygiene items and you will likely want to get a cell phone, but this is almost all a matter of what you want to spend. Good luck!

How do undergraduates at UMass Boston spend their weekends?

It really depends on the student and their regular off-campus lives. There are some students there who have time and money to club and party, or go to fun events around the city. There are also students who work, so they might be busy earning money to keep their student loans from getting out of hand.Plenty of students have families that want or need their attention on the weekend. I was in that camp when I was there. Some keep busy with volunteer work or some form of activism. Some get swamped by schoolwork and spend as much time studying as their brains can handle. The one thing nearly every UMass Boston student does on the weekend is stay off campus unless they have a Saturday course, because right now there aren’t any dorms. This will be changing in the next few years.UMB students (and alums) are a diverse bunch. If you’re at a loss for what to do, ask a friend or a trusted faculty member; look at the events calendar in The Mass Media; check the posting walls near the elevators on the second floor of the Campus Center; or go hang out in Davis Square because it’s where people go.It’s a good campus. I miss it there.

How much money do you spend on christmas gifts?

I don't think so. You have to look at how much money you make and how much you have to afford Christmas gifts. I think that is a wonderful Idea for the familys.

For me and my husbands extended family, we buy christmas cards and put in pictures of us and of our little boy. They seem just fine with that as they know that we are on a budget and can't afford to buy gifts for everyone.

As for immediate family, we try to not spend more than $50 per person or we get combined gifts for our parents. We honestly don't budget a certain amt, but we start shopping in early october to get our parents, brothers and sisters presents. Then in November we start to concentrate on us. As my son will be a year and a half old this year, we won't spend more than $100 as the grandparents will cover a lot more.

As for what we spend on each other, we try to not go over $150 per person.

Something that we do is that we both have a wishlist and we start buying some little things as early as August. That way it's not hard on the budget.

I hope this helps. I know that Christmas time can definately be stressful.

Is it bad to, every so often, spend my savings on a weekend trip?

If you're doing it because you want to and not because someone else is forcing you to, then why would it be?Following the age old idea of life being about the journey and not the destination, then going on weekend trips would - in a pretty literal sense - mean you're doing it right.Of course, saving can be important too, but if there's one thing I've learnt, money ain't everything. The travels and trips I've had during my life are something I wouldn't change in for any amount of money. If I'm only gonna get 80-100 years on this planet, I don't really want to spend it fretting about my bank account. That being said, traveling ain't everything either, so…
