Should I Start To Tape Wellbutrin Xl Or Should I Wait A Little Longer And See

Wellbutrin strange dreams and nightmares?

Have you had these (when you can finally sleep due to the insomnia) from taking Wellbutrin. Last night (more like this morning) I had a series of bizarre dreams. In one of them I was on a cliff when a couple I do artwork for came onto the cliff to tell me they liked the curtains I sewed them (I don't sew). But they were returning them to make me wrap them creatively, Then Barbara Walters walked into my dream, grabbed a glass of champagne and said she was off to the symphony! I am an artist and have an imagination but this sh*t is getting weird. Does it go away or will Donald Trump be making a cameo appearance tonite?

Anyone gain weight while on cymbalta, paxil, celexa, effexor, or prozac? Im tring to find the right one for me?

Hi: I know what you mean about weight gain. By looking at your meds, your primary diagnosis is clinical or major depression. Maybe you have a side order of anxiety. (Having these two problems together is fairly common.)

I did lose a significant amount of weight (maybe 15 pounds) while taking 400 mg of wellbutrin SR. A whopping 28% of folks on this med lose weight. See the link below. Don't you feel sorry for people experiencing the side effect of weight loss :=)

To a much smaller extent, zoloft can help some folks lose weight, as the other link describes.

It could be worse. I attend a support group for people with depression, bipolar disorder, etc. Almost all of the mood stabilizers and antipsychotics used for bipolar can put on huge amounts of weight---over 50 pounds. I was briefly on an antipsychotic called seroquel and put on about 20 pounds in 2 months!

Wellbutrin has a reputation of increasing the energy level of folks with depression. If you have that problem, that would be another reason to give wellbutrin a try. I suggest that you ask for wellbutrin SR or XL, not the immediate release wellbutrin. All my best.

Why are people who use meth called tweakers?

Many people tend to “tweak” when high on meth, so the term “tweakers” got applied to them.Ah, but what is it to tweak, you must be asking, or you would have been able to infer this.If you start to change a lightbulb, then spend seven hours deconstructing and re-constructing the elaborate Moroccan light fixture in the kitchen, rearranging the stained glass so that the colors point in the right directions, shining it up inside and out, running to the store for better bulbs, threading the cord so that it lands in an inconspicuous position, you've just tweaked. You also probably forgot to eat or drink anything during this period, and you may have left several important things by the wayside in order to get this light just so.If you wake up at 3pm in a hotel room you don't remember going to, and all the light fixtures have been disassembled and arranged in piles that seem to make some sort of sense but you just can't figure out what it is, and housekeeping is knocking on the door to get you out, either you tweaked and forgot it, whoever was with you tweaked and scrammed or you could possibly have had a manic episode. In any event, hope that the hotel room is not in your name and make like a tree...leave.If you start cleaning your bathroom just before heading out to see friends, then spend the next four hours creating designs on the wall with electrical tape so that you can paint them in but you never finish because you have to get the shower scrubbed out and also that shelf needs to be adjusted so that it doesn't squeak or interfere with the electrical tape and where are those paints and isn't there a new aerator in here somewhere that you meant to put in the sink, good that's fine, now mop the floor because it's interfering with thecrkectticakbtppe then I'd better finish this later because I'm really late but I'd better take a shower before I go, then OK time to go and you're just in time because everyone you were planning to meet has also been tweaking, well, you've been tweaking. For the most part tweaking will involve mechanical repetitive actions, but you never really know what's up until you've waited for your friend for the past three hours only to find him taking all of his watches apart and putting them back together in a way that "makes sense". Then you know.

What can be done to stop the teenage depression epidemic in our society? Are there any realistic and actionable courses of action?

It’s not just a depression epidemic, a suicide epidemic is showing up too. In my local area teen suicide has already become an epidemic. Just last week I attended an event at a local high school that was in response to one of their students taking his life. Teenagers are quite literally the canary in the coal mine, they are dying because their environment has become toxic. Here are my thoughts on the whole situation and what can be done about it.I do think that this can be turned around but I think we need to first understand that if we really want to fix it, it will take a lot of time, effort and financial backing. People tend to want quick fixes, they want it fixed, they want it fixed perfectly without hitches or hiccups and they want it fixed now. In order to pin down solutions, we first need to get a handle on what the problem is exactly and while I think there are a lot of contributing factors there is one clear key factor to the problem and one key factor to solving it and that is the parents. While I was working on this answer, I peaked at a question and some answers, the question specifically is “what’s wrong with teenagers in today’s society?” People don’t want to hear it, but it’s the parents. One of the top voted answers has to do with how shallow a teen girl is because she wants a gucci belt because she’s shallow and cares too much about what others think. Well, she didn’t come out of the womb that way. Parents don’t want to hear it but they are the ones that created this monster and we’ve gotten into the nasty habit of preserving people’s feelings even when the price is extremely high. My gripes with modern parents are lengthy but I think that we need a lot more focused and deliberate efforts to better educate parents on how to be better parents.I think we need some shifts in attitude and culture. I think we need stop pathologizing childhood and normal child and teen behaviors. The short answer, for me, really is that I think that we need to engage in bigger campaigns for educating parents and adults because I really believe that it rests in their hands. They are the ones that are responsible for this mess and they hold the key to turning it around.
