Should I Stay Home Tomorrow To Pick Up My Phone

I want to stay home tomorrow?

Yes, I give you permission. Please print the note below and present it to the proper administrator tomorrow or whenever they need it. Thanks.

Dear School Administrator,

Please excuse Ms. Hello Kitty Avatar from school today, Thursday, 12/1/11. She needs to rest and recupirate as well as prepare for her trip to New York on Friday. You can have all necessary work that would need to be completed mailed to her home for her to complete upon her return from vaction or she can pick it up from school the next day she is in. Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Some random person from the internet.

Should I stay home tomorrow and study for exams?

I have two exams on Friday(Geography and English) and one exam on Monday(Science). We've already reviewed everything in all those classes and I've made notes. Should I go or stay home to study? I think I could study a lot more if I stayed home because I'd have more time.

I'm in Gr.9.

Thanks:).

How to stay home from school?

Things must be different these days. I always just got into my car and drove somewhere other than school. Took a bus downtown and went to the museums, drove up into the historic little rural towns, whatever was appealing that day. The only trick was to be near the phone that evening when the automated school system called to say I had an unexcused absence. I always picked up the phone and either said, "Sorry, wrong number," or "No, we're not interested," and hung up.

Got caught ONCE after 30 or 40 times. The school called my house mid-morning with a real, live person on the other end.

My punishment? They wouldn't let me go to school. I got a one-day suspension.

Seriously? You hate school and don't want to go, so your big punishment is to be forced to miss school?

My parents were mad, and THEIR big punishment was that I was supposed to clean out some rental apartment. The day spent as a maid was STILL better than the day spent at high school.

How can I stay relaxed for my piano competition tomorrow?!?

Think calm thoughts, don't think about the competition. Think about how well you play at home. Picture yourself playing the same way and even better at the competition - fill your thoughts with this. Believe me, if you think and visualize it, it will be so. Be and think positive thoughts even as you sleep. Fall asleep thinking it, wake up with the same thoughts and keep them in your head right through to the competition. I have faith in you, you'll be great!!!

Positive Thinking is my life long motto and has served me well throughout. When you get a chance pick up a copy of Dr. Norman Vincent Peal's book - The Power of Positive Thinking - it changed my life and I hope it does yours.

Knock em Dead!!!

How to convince my parents to let me stay home from school tomorrow.?

i really want to skip school tomorrow, and i think if i ask my mom tomorrow if i could skip she would say no cause it's one of her days off, and tomorrow is our first day back from winter break, and i've ben staying up really late during the break (like going to sleep in 5 in the mourning and waking up at 1 or 2 in the afternoon)
I've laid in my bed for about 3 hours now trying to fall asleep, and i still can't, and i'm not even tired at all, and i really don't want to go to school tomorrow all sleepy cause i couldn't go to bed.
Do you think if i told my mom she would let me?, please help. :(
And by the way don't tell me to try to go to bed now, cause i can't.

Should I stay home a third day?

I've been home for two days already and I till feel sick. I have a sore throat, mucus, a stuffy nose, and now developing a cough. I am a good student who cares about her grades so I'm worrying about the missed worked. I am also the type probe to many sick days in the past but have always managed my missed work and have managed an honor roll status. I was thinking I could get work from school or get my friends to pick up work for me because tomorrow's friday. Can my mom call the school early and get work for me tomorrow? I still feel under the weather but I'm nervous about school.

I'm losing my voice... Should i stay home from school?

I know i shouldnt be talking, but i like to talk and always get tempted.
And i need to go to school, since theres a test tomorrow. But if i really have to stay home then i will...
I also had a cold a few days ago...

Also...
What should i do to get my voice back?

Thanks !
:)

My parents said I'm not sick enough to stay home?

Because I don't have a fever and my cough isn't convincing enough.

My nose is runny/clogged, I do have a cough but I guess it's too dry and not frequent enough to be sick, my head hurts, my ribs are sore.

I asked my dad if I'm going to school tomorrow and he said "Yeah, I think you should go."

But he also said he thinks I have a cold and it's gonna get worse.

Yet....they're fine with sending me to school to spread this around and catch whatever else.

I can't convince them. They think I'm faking it. My stepmom is even mad at me for staying home today.

What do you think? They're just saying because I don't have a fever and I don't "look" sick, that I'm fine to go.

Do you ever let your kids stay at home from school every now and then?

I did this regularly through the school years. One time in 8th grade our son had some buddies over. The discussion was how to fake being sick to convince your parents to let you stay home from school. When they asked our son what he did, he answered truthfully: I just let him stay home.My view, of which I convinced my wife, was that going to school is work both there and with homework. As our son did very well in school, we would let him take off a day or two every quarter. Our son would look at he days where there was little work and let us know in advance. In high school, there WERE a few times where he was not as prepared as he needed to be and he would ask me to sign him out early. I did this readily. He would explain the reason to us and follow through on the commitment.I made the right call as our son was a valedictorian of his graduating HS class. And there is my credential above.Note: Our son has always been motivated and self-directed. Because of this, it worked for us, but YMMV.

How can I stay away from my cell phone when I am studying?

BREAK IT. keep scrolling down please.Literally don’t break it. actually it is the only thing that comes in your mind when you get fed up with your phone! isn’t it the one of the greatest temptations?well i don’t care about your phone so i’ll also advice you to break itthe most simple and effective advice that i can give to you.BUT ,the thing is- IS IT REALLY GOING TO WORK?lets assume that you have your phone broken or just say you had a breakup with your phone(smartphones are considered as girlfriend now a days). you and your phone are not together now.okay now you think you are going to study well because you don’t have the distraction.A BIG NO my friend, now you have got even more distraction that you had before.now it will feel like you have your broken heart and your 1st love (i am talking about your phone -_- don’t get carried away)is lost somewhere in this cruel world.if you don’t believe me then just try it once.now coming to the question(you are almost carried away on your phone -_-) how to stay away from the phone ? hmmm still a big question!okay, let me tell you one thing.YOU DON’T NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM YOUR PHONE TO STUDY.What the hell are you talking about?calm down man i am talking about the facts. yes, this is a fact that you don’t need to stay away from your phone to study. what do you do on phone by the way?WHATS APPFACEBOOKQUORAjust ignore the last one. it is useful actually.okay no more joking .THE THING IS ACTUALLY YOU NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR PRIORITIES.read the above sentence twice. priorities here include your status both on social media and real life. have a strong will power to study, not to resist your phone. its not actually your phone that is distracting you, its only an easy excuse you are making to avoid studies. social media is the thing that is distracting you. the efforts you are making to resist your phone, try that energy on focusing on study.make a compatible study cum social media schedule so that it won’t feel like a breakup. try to being creative in your studies so to retain interest and take short breaks if you still find it difficult. don’t ever use social media in that short break, instead try out listening songs, drink water or whatever your hobby is and then get back to study.I don’t know much about rome or paris, rather i would sayTAJMAHAL WAS NOT BUILT IN ONE DAY.don’t give up and keep trying, once you have developed the consistency then you’ll find it very easy.cheers.:-)
