Should I tell my friend her house stinks?
My friend has four chihuahuas,two pit bulls, and 1 cat.Her house smells like animal.it makes me uncomfortable to go there.Also her dogs poop and pee everywhere. When she offers me food I always say no because the smell makes me lose my appetite.i stay over there for like 3 hours,and when I get home,my clothes smell like her house.What should I do?
My Grandma's house stinks..?
okay, so i stay the weekends at my grandma's house and her house..doesn't smell very pleasant.. it doesn't smell like garabage, it smells like the food she cooks..but it doesn't smell good and the smell always lingers around and it ALWAYS smells. and the thing is, she doesn't even cook food's that usually stink, it's not like indian food, or anything with spices that leave a lingering smell. and the problem is, i'm moving in to my grandma's house this summer and for all of highschool, and i'm worried about inviting my friends over, because her house just..smells, and my mom and i don't know why, because when most people cook, the smell doesn't linger around for a long time like it does here. i know this question sounds silly, but i'm serious! i'm going to be embarrassed to invite my friends to my grandma's house because it just stinks..what can i do about it?
How do you tell someone that his/her house stinks?
I actually had to go through something similar with friends of mine. Their house was just a dirty, sloppy mess. The way that we helped was that a bunch of friends got together and discussed that they needed some help. Some of the problem was that they had just gotten to the point that they were completely overwhelmed and did not know where to start. A bunch of us offered to go over on a Saturday and help clean and straighten up their house. They actually ended up being grateful for the help, and have become a bit more conscious about keeping ahead of the clutter. Possibly if you are afraid of making your friends resent you, you could mention the problem to them in a way that you are worried about their health. Stale air does not help allergies, and will actually cause any sickness to linger inside the house. You could also say that you cannot visit as you have been diagnosed with allergies, and you cannot sit in an closed up apartment as it makes your allergies worse. They are endangering their health if the air is full of mold and mildew, it can attribute to breathing problems and infections. Good luck, I wish you the best.
Friends house smells bad?
I've never been into my best friends house but my other friends have and they all say it smells terrible in there. She has to live with her aunt and all her cousins and she sleeps in the basement and her aunt and cousins have like 3 dogs and she has 1 of her own and the aunt and cousins just like let the dogs go to the bathroom inside sometimes and she's even told me she doesn't want me to go in because of the smell and how bad it is but idk could it really be that bad, everyone has kind of freaked me out a bit and idk I feel like the smell would be unbearable if I went in now and I don't know what to think, I really don't know if it'll be so bad, and I'm not shaming her or anything because it isn't her fault and I know that, I just want to know if any of you would know if it would smell bad in there and if it did I would just have to deal with it I suppose
How can I tell my best friend that her house smells like...?
I have 5 cats and I am terrified that my apartment smells like cat pee. My roomie is in charge of keeping the cat boxes clean, but he doesn't always do the best job. I would really, really want someone to tell me that my place smelled like cat pee - I'm so used to the smell (if there is one) and that's not a good thing. No one wants their place to stink. I would tell her straight out. You say her cats are peeing outside the box? The only way to get rid of that smell is to mix white vinegar with water and sponge it off the carpets or wherever. On the floor, or in the cat box room, Lysol has made this fabulous spray with BLEACH in it that will kill germs and the smell. Tell her the problem, then give her the solution. That's what friends are for, no?
How do I tell my friend she reeks ?
My friend started to reek last month. She is usualy neat and clean. I started noticeing a rank odour a while ago. She smells of urine and fecal matter. Just recently I got a wiff of sweat from her. I have been driving her around for a while now. Her car is broken. Now my car seat stinks. I have gaged a few times in front of her. I almost vomited a few times in the car from the stink. I don't want to just tell her she reeks. How do I not hurt her feelings?
