What should i text this boy that i like?

Ask, "My mom is making my favorite dish tonight: _____." Or just say something about next semester's schedule, how you can't believe only a week of break is left, etc. Or ask about New Years plans! Why does he say gtg when I text him?
I texted my crush asking what he got on his science test and he said idk and I said okay. And then he said gtg. I tried texting him yesterday and he said gtg. Does he not want to text me? I'm not texting him again because of the gtg's. Why does he keep saying gtg?

i found out he was sick through facebook news feed. but i feel like if i text him and tell him that, hes gunna think that im a stalker. should i text him and say " hey i saw that you were sick hope you feel better soon :)" ??? should i?? or should i just not say a thing. we still care about eachother and if i text him this then i feel like its a way for him to know that im here for him and care about him. let me know if this is a good idea?

I have a crush on this guy I've hung out with a few times. He gave me his number last week and we've texted a few times since then. We were texting for over 2 hours last night, up until midnight. He hasnt texted me today, but I am hoping it's just because he doesn't want to seem desperate. I was thinking about texting him to tell him happy thanksgiving, but I dont want it to seem like we have to talk everyday....or like i am desperate...should i text him?
He hasn't texted me all day, should I just wait or do I text him?
There really is no way to make this sound less stupid and trust me I understand that but I have a terrible habit of basing stuff like this on my past relationships. There is this guy I've been seeing for almost a month now. When we started, he would constantly text me, granted it took about an hour for him to reply to my text because he is a busy guy. Well as of this week, I really haven't heard from him much and today so far...nothing. I texted him last night just to say goodnight but he hasn't said anything yet today. I realize he could just be busy but based off previous relationships, I'm afraid he's just going to disappear. Do you think I should leave it alone and just let him call or text me? Or should I send short "hope your day went well" kind of messages to let him know I'm thinking of him? The problem is I don't want to continually send him goodnight or good morning texts if I don't get a reply and sound clingy and I do know he's interested so that's not really what I'm questioning.
