Should I Trust This Jeweler Or Get A Second Opinion

Should I get a second opinion? Herpes?

I went to the doctor on Monday regarding a single lesion on my penis which was looked a lot like a pimple. My doctor asked if it hurt if it got squeezed and i said yes and he said you have herpes with no further testing. He then prescribed me a $250.00 7 day supply of Famvir which even states on the website "Has not been proven effective for initial outbreaks". Does this sound like I should get a second opinion or can herpes really be diagnosed by merely looking at it that easily? I do also have a medical history with Staph boils and such if it at all could be related. I really don't know what to think about this.

Which is the most trustworthy gold jewellery shop in Bangalore?

Well, if you aren't looking for big names. I would suggest you try, Chickpet on avenue road.No big names, but shops that have been there since a long time. My mom and aunt, buy gold in a very small shop.Their making charge is a standard fix percent and wastage charge is fixed as well.To be sure of the quality, we always buy the jewellery with the hallmark. Although, their gold is always good, you don't actually need to get a hallmark on their products but we opt for it for an extra fee of 100 rupees. Whatever jewellery you decide to buy from the shop can be hallmarked, but will require one additional day for hallmarking (at a different, govt. authorised place) , before you can take the jewellery with you.The first time we bought something from there it was 8 years back. The shine is still there. The metallic gold lustre is still intact. My aunt recommended it to my mom, and then we have been there to buy gold 5-6 times. Also, it should be noted that, we had moved to Bangalore few years ago and one of our neighbours suggested this place. As a non-Bengalurean we felt completely at ease there, and felt the transaction was fair and all the charges were transparent and upfront. And the important part is you get to talk to the owner (they are in the business from generations) directly instead of some staff who is on a job. This is the same in case of any jeweller there, but in case you want to know about the specific store, then message me.Edit 1: Till now, I have been asked almost 10 times on Facebook about the shop’s name and contact details. I did not want to do that, because then it would have seemed like I was related to the shop and promoting it somehow. But, I have decided to share the details anyways now:Sree Balaji JewellersAvenue Road080 4151 396799011 88808

Did zales sell fake jewelry?

So abought 5 to 7 years ago i bought a watch from zales (specifically a movado sapphire with the reflective-mirror face). I have recently fallen on hard times an need to sell it. When i look up the serial number nothing comes up, I brought it to a pawn shop and the guy pretty much through me out of the store calling it a fake. So has anyone else had problems/reports of fake movado watches at zales ior should i continue research?

How can I sue a jewelry store's owner?

First, get some proof that you went back to the store within the 15 day return/refund period. If you don't, it'll just be your word against theirs in court. Don't expect the store's employees to tell the truth - even under oath - when their jobs are on the line. Since this would be a civil case it could take from 6 months to a year or more to be first heard in court, if it gets that far. Memories get dim. People forget things. Oh, also, the litigant bringing the case (i.e.,you) is responsible for the court costs in most states. It can get expensive. Yes, it is unfair. The rule is that you only get the amount of justice that you can pay for.

Read their refund policy very carefully. Does resizing or altering the ring in any other way, void their policy? Even if it does, most stores will refund as a gesture of goodwill but it's not mandatory.

Ask friends and neighbors if they could recommend a personal injury lawyer for you. If you live in the United States, you can call your county bar association for a referral. Be sure to bring all your paperwork and the ring to your first meeting. Also, bring your checkbook. A lawyer will require a retainer - usually $1,000 and up depending on the complexity of the case.

Most importantly, find some way to get the word out about the shabby merchandise and your treatment re the refund policy. The shop owner might not care that you've been injured - a legal term: You're the injured party. - but he probably doesn't want any bad publicity. A friend of mine who'd bought a real lemon of a new car made a big poster and walked back and forth in front of the dealership. She spoke to everyone entering the dealership and, after a number of prospective buyers had walked away, they gave in and settled with her.

If you get to the point of filing court papers, the owner will get the idea that you mean business and will probably want to settle rather than go to court. It's cheaper for him and it will be a lot cheaper for you. Don't be surprised if you're offered less than you paid for the ring. This is the time when you'll have to make some decisions regarding how far you want to take the case.

Good Luck!

Re your additional information: if the gold flaked off, you still have a case even if they say that resizing is the cause. Rings are resized everyday. The expectation is that they will not fall apart due to poor workmanship.

Is it worth to buy gold/diamond jewellery from Macys?

First, it is a buying decision that one should make based on the data that the jewelry buyer has.Do Macy's is the only choice/consideration set when purchasing jeweler. As the jeweler and Diamond manufacturer, check this out our point of view. The big stores like Macy's purchase from dealers and distributors, which in turn purchase from large importers/wholesalers. And most natural diamond jewelry, most probably the diamonds are sourced from Surat or Mumbai in India, and jewelry might be made in India or made in China. as Macy’s like stores do bulk sourcing and have a specific price limit. mostly the product is medium quality. As they are sources in bulk. in between so many middle man at least 40% margins added up. and the client pays more bucks then required.the question here… why do they see only Macy's as the only option?stores like Macy's keep those items in stock, which can move fast, means medium price range and medium quality goods. So is it worth it? maybe Yes and Maybe No.The stores like gemone diamonds sell only high-quality natural diamonds and jewelry. even top jewelry companies in the USA buy from jewelry manufacturers in Asia. So if you are looking for the price point and quality advantage, buy from these countries. and if not Macy's is still the right choice.

Should you buy a second hand engagement ring?

Why not? Let’s face it a ring is just a symbol. When my husband and I first got married we didn’t have enough money for an engagement ring. We decided to take the money and spend it on an investment property instead. Now 25 years later that investment property is worth way more then my engagement ring will ever be worth. How much someone spends on a ring has nothing to do with how much they love or care for you. Actions speak way louder than any ring can.I’m glad we started off that way. It allowed us to build a strong financial future together. Who says you should spend three months salary on an engagement ring anyway? Yea, that’s what the jewelers say. In reality this is totally unrealistic until you’re established in life and that’s usually not before you decide to marry.Every case is different though. I guess it just depends on what stage you are in life and what matters to you as a couple.

I think my nose piercing may be rejecting?

Oh dear...
I have had my nose pierced for 7 years, it takes a month to two months to fully heal! Not two years!!! Thats BS!
You are NEVER supposed to use a gun..!
I have extreamly sensitive skin and if I take mine out, it also heals fast..
I think you may be allergic to the metal. Go to a jewelry store and get titanium or gold (not surgical steel or anything else!)
I had a bump on my nose that looked like a zit for a whole and it hurt and bled and oozed clear pus until I changed the metal.

Try it out. Also, go to a better shop to get it looked at. See what they say.

Hope this helped :-S
Good luck sweetie!
