Should I Wait For More One Piece Manga Chapters To Come Out Or Should I Continue Reading

Is manga ever released in single chapters, or is it always released in volumes?

Is manga ever released in single chapters, or is it always released in volumes? Both, actually. Manga chapters are released in magazines, often on a set schedule. Some series like One Piece have their chapters released weekly, typically with ~20 pages. Other series like Attack on Titan are released monthly, with ~50 pages each chapter. And then there are series like Berserk, where chapters are released very irregularly, because it frequently goes on hiatus. Note that this last example is a rare case and there are often good reasons for why there are so many breaks.Eventually, chapters are collected into volumes, and depending on the number of pages in each chapter, a volume may contain anywhere from 3 to 12 chapters.Hope this answered your question :)

What manga chapter is One piece episode 577? (yesterday's episode)?

I'm getting a little tired of waiting every week to see one piece. so i think its time i start reading the manga. i know alot of people like it more than the anime. but im going to both . so anyone know what manga chapter is one piece episode 577 the one that came out yesterday ? thanks in advance one piece fans<3

Should I just read the ‘Made in Abyss’ manga instead of waiting for season 2 of the anime?

Up to you.Though the manga takes more time to explain the world setting, devices and creatures. So you should definitely read at least what the anime covered (chapters 1 to first half of 26), and then decide if you want to continue or not. While the anime was for the most part a good adaption, the middle part was considered largely weaker than the manga version. And it had pacing issues due to having to drag the content out to avoid ending 1/4 into the next arc. It’s unlikely though that we’ll see a sequel before 2019 or more likely 2020.If they did a movie or short OVA series, they could probably do volumes 4 and 5 by next year, but if they plan to wait and make it a full new season…it’ll depend on how long the current arc continues.

Which one should I do, read the manga My Hero Academia or wait for the anime?

You can't really go wrong. The anime doesn't have that much filler and the filler it does have is good and brief. There are no season long arcs meant to pad out the run time. The only real reason to perfer the manga over the anime is that the manga has even more to the story. Off the top of my head we are now entering our fourth or fifth arc ahead from where the anime is. And the anime won't start up again until autumn. So now is the best time to get reading or to binge watch the anime however you see fit.As for the series itself. I do believe it has taken Naruto's seat as one of the Big Three Shounen titles alongside One Piece. Do with that as you will. The emotions in the fighting are palpable, the characters are all fun and varied. I have described the series as a breath of fresh air while some others have called it generic. Definitely check it out for yourself though. Especially if you like comic book heroes and want to see Japan's take on the genre.

What happened to onemanga and where can i still find its contents?

Actually they have become an "informational" manga site since a few months ago. They provide information of the manga and the chapter number of when they were released.

OM Shutdown Update

Why is OM shutting down its manga viewer?
- The publishers recently have strengthened their stance against scanlations, especially online viewers such as OM. Therefore to abide by their requests we have shut down the online viewer.

For other manga viewer sites, you can just google "free online manga" and there's tons of manga sites still available which questions the "stance" that publishers took for onemanga to be shut down.
i usually use

but there's also
http://www.mangafox.com/
http://www.mangavolume.com/

Actually mangastream has been running for a year+. They are the best scanlation group IMO, they only handle scanning and translating of when the latest chapters of the Jump titles are released in Japan.
To the reason why they only keep four chapters,
http://mangastream.com/content/faq
1. Why are there so few chapters of each series online?
* We have a very limited selection of series, and we have also limited the amount of chapters for each series to four. It's connected to our philosophy of scanlations.
2. What is your philosophy of scanlations?
* Our scanlations are just meant to be spoilers..... We want you to support the distributors when they release it in your language, so we won't undermine their efforts by hosting what they are trying to sell.

How do I manage to keep up-to-date with One Piece from chapter 1 as fast as possible?

Well, let me tell you an honest suggestion. One Piece is in its 17th year in print and right now it has 802 manga chapters and still has another 10 years in its lifespan. The point is that you do not have to rush and read OP and make sure that you are up do date. Take your time to watch all the anime episodes of OP because the journey of Straw Hat pirates has been a long one and there are many emotions in between the lines of the characters and the events that they are a part of. It is a huge one. It will certainly impact you for the rest of your life. I recommend you to watch as many episodes as you feel will not hamper your daily life. If you are a student/have a job, you ought to balance your life. After all, they are way more important than watching OP 24/7. When I started watching OP, I watched more than 4 episodes in a day and in the weekend, I finished 10-12 episodes. It did not hamper my daily life as I spent less time using Facebook or chatting with my friends. The other thing is that if you are really desperate to keep up to date with OP, then you can start reading OP manga. When I started reading Bleach, I used to finish more than 70-80 chapters in a day! In just four to six days, I was able to get myself updated in its story. I had no moment of regrets because I did not like the anime series of Bleach. But OP is an exception. You should not hurry finishing 60-70 chapters in a day as it would spoil your anticipation about the next moment in OP. I would like you to feel that 802 chapters are no big deal to be up-to-date. It will not go down as your best anime ever and there will be no fun whatsoever when you discuss watching OP with your friends.

One piece: Is skypiea arc better in anime or manga?

So I'm reading the manga not watching the anime, and currently I'm in the Jaya arc, so next is Skypiea. When I checked a website with OP's story arcs I noticed that Skypiea is 42 episodes long , whereas in the manga it lasts around 70 chapters, which is a bit too long for me.
So I was wondering, why is it longer in the manga? Does the story have something they didn't adapt into the anime? And which one was better, the anime or manga version? cause I don't want to read 70 chapters that focus on one arc; Alabasta was shorter than that and I still felt that it dragged and I was a little bored at times)

I want to start One Piece. Should I go with the anime or the manga?

It depends on your preference.Pros of Manga:--most updated--no fillers--if you are a fast reader, you can finish faster than watching anime--this is still the most *canon* of all mediaCons of Manga:--mostly black and white--just drawing, so you can't see animated fight scenes--no voices either--in the later parts, some chapters has become text heavy (this is to build up content so that the anime doesn't catch up to the manga) that it gets un-appealing to read for some--sometimes you'd wonder why the arc takes forever (Dressrosa arc in the manga went on for more than a year!)Pros of Anime:--colored and animated (but be warned, because the anime is old, the animation of the first parts is not as good as current technologies), of course--the sound effects can draw up emotions--One Piece's fillers are actually good compared to Naruto fillers and I kind of like themCons of Anime:--it's late by some chapters--One Piece anime, on average, is one manga per chapter that is why Oda-sensei makes the manga content heavy but still a 20 page chapter can be too short to be stretched in a 20 minute episode (minus the OP and ED)By experience, I was able to catch up with One Piece from Chapter 0 to New World (about chapter 600+, I think) in 3 days with rest and sleep while a friend of mine was able to catch up with the One Piece anime from Ep1 to Ep600+ in one and half weeks with just sleep as breaks.I would suggest you read on the first parts (maybe until Skypeia or Water 7 arc) to make the catching up quicker then switch to anime. Hope this helps.
