Should I Wait For The Iphone 6 Or Take My Upgrade To The Iphone 5

I have an iPhone 5s, which iPhone should I upgrade to the 6s, 7 or 8? I am a jobless teenager so money is important.

Thanks for the A2A.The short answer is that you have two main options:buy the one you can afford right nowsave/earn/raise money for the want you’d really want and wait until thenEach new iPhone model has more features and is more future-proof than the previous one. It’s hard to give you any recommendation without knowing your specific needs and expectations.Having said that, I’d skip the iPhone 6S, if at all possible budget-wise, because there is no guarantee it will run smoothly with or even be supported by future versions of iOS.Putting aside the current #iPhoneSlow saga, newer releases of iOS will inevitably require more resources or special hardware features over time. This is why the iPhone 4 is stuck at iOS 7.1.2 and the iPhone 5 at iOS 10.This means that, at one point, the A9 processor and the 2 GB of RAM of the iPhone 6S will have a harder time coping with future versions of iOS.In addition, once an iPhone does not receive any iOS updates anymore, it is not safe to use it, period. When could this happen? Impossible to say right now.But I would not be surprised that this could happen when iOS 14 gets released in 2020.Hope this helps!Edited to correct the latest iOS version supported by the iPhone 5.

Should I upgrade to the iphone 7?

I currently have the iPhone 5s and my contract expires in August but I wanted to wait it out to see the 7. I don't know if I should get the 6s or 7. I feel like since the 7 is the first that it will have problems. My family says wait for the 7s but apparently they might skip it and go right to the iPhone 8. I don't know which phone to get.

How much is the iPhone 6 with an upgrade at AT&T?

Here's my situation!
I have at&t as my cell phone provider. I was going to recycle my iphone 5 for the iphone 6. When I am ready for an upgrade in November. But at the same time my sister has a crappy phone and really could use a new phone. If I give her my iphone 5 and keep my upgrade instead of giving it to her, how much would the iphone 6 be with an upgrade?

also, Apple was going to give me $225 dollars, that I was going to put towards the iphone 6. If that matters.

Should I upgrade from the current iPhone 6S, or should I wait for the next iPhone?

Wait for next iphoneAm using iphone 6S right now and i really really want to buy iphone X but i decided to wait for next iphone for following reasonsIphone X doesn’t have dash charger, as of now for fast charge (0–75% in 45mins) you have to spend lots of money.Iphone X is first device from Apple to have bezelless display, wireless charging, face id and many more. It has its fair share of bugs so I’d prefer to wait for next model with the fixes.Price - As most of the hardwares are new tech Apple charges huge and in next year there might be a chances of lesser price compare to this year.New model - There is a rumor that Apple will launch SE2 with iphone X spec so this one will catch most of the eyes.So I decided to wait and I suggest you to wait but its really up to you buddy.Happy shopping!!!Chiao!!

I own an iPhone 5, should I upgrade to iPhone 6s or iPhone 7?

It depends on your budget. I'm shifting from an iPhone 5C to the 6s in a week, and my reasons for doing so areMoney - The 6s is cheaper than the iPhone 7, so for me on a budget, I can afford the 6s and some headphones/accessories for the same price as the 7.Camera Quality - The iPhone 7 has a better camera than the 6s. So if you plan to click a lot of professional pictures on your phone, or you're just fond of good smartphone cameras, then the 7 is for you. I generally need the phone camera for point-and-shoot casual pictures, a little video and mostly just casual random photography. The 6s serves more than enough for that.Headphone Jack - The iPhone 7 lacks a headphone jack. While this is fine if you use wireless headphones or have just one pair of headphones that you use that you can plug the adapter into, or you're fine with the lightning earpods that come in the box, then there's no worry. I generally end up using more than a pair of headphones and I’m sure I'd lose an adapter very easily.Water Resistance - The iPhone 7 is water resistant. So, if you're out on adventure or are prone of your phone getting wet easily, then I'd recommend 7. My phone hardly ever ends up in water, so the 6s was okay for me.So yeah, these are broad categories that might help you in making your decision.EDIT: Writing this on my iPhone 7, because the store didn't have the 6s I wanted and offered me a hefty discount, so it all fell into place. Destiny is real, and I stand corrected.

How do I upgrade to iOS 11 on iPhone 5?

Well you can't technically do it but there is sort of a hack which comes close. You would need to jailbreak your phone (voids the warranty and you may brick/spoil your phone - dont blame me if you do) and install a custom build made by developers which have the skins (look and feel) of iOS 11 with some basic apps ported for 32 bit.Again, it is a hack, not really iOS 11 but it looks like it has and has the risk of spoiling your phone. I had tried a few years back to get iOS 9 on my ipod 1st gen (yes the first ever touch device made by apple) and it worked fine for me back then. In your case, you will need to do some RND online if you want to try it out.Have a spare phone ready and your data backed up first incase you mess your phone real bad in the process.

I am due for a mobile upgrade. Do I wait for the iPhone 6, go for the iPhone 5S, or go for the Samsung Galaxy S5?

I would say go for iPhone 5S. They say "known devil is better than unknown angel". IMO 5S is currently the best in smartphone market (m8 and Z2 are close contenders). Reports suggest that iPhone 6 will have 5 inch screen with more area covered with sapphire crystal which means cost will be way too high. Plus iOS 8 beta version has nothing much to offer other than small tweaks and making the interface look more classy.Plus iPhone history shows the same trend for the past 7 years, i.e "S" series will be the updated far better and cheaper version of iPhone 4,5 model. So there is a huge probability involving quicker launch of 6S and production stopping of iPhone 6 like they did in the case of iPhone 5. If you are really particular about a bigger screen, then i would suggest you go for HTC m8 or xperia Z2. Else blindly go for iPhone 5S, its worth it and last but not the least, Don't even think of buying samsung galaxy. Agreed, S2 was arguably the best smartphone for a year beating the likes of iPhone 3GS and 4. But the later versions are/were just pathetic. My suggestion Bigger screen priority1. HTC one m82. Xperia z2Priority : Classy, organised simple interface with screen which will fit right in your palm, go for iPhone 5S.

Should I upgrade my iPhone 5 to iOS 8 or wait a bit longer?

I struggled with this myself. I had an iPhone 5 when iOS 8 first came out. As a developer, I had access to the betas before the final release and they were so (relatively) solid and responsive that I had no fear about updating to the public release. I used the 5 with iOS 8 for weeks without any issue of slow-down or responsiveness. I did eventually upgrade to an iPhone 6 because I wanted some of the new hardware features, but it wasn't because my iPhone 5 was unusable or having issues with iOS 8. If you go back to an iPhone 4S I have heard a lot of people complaining about issues with performance. That may get somewhat resolved in 8.1 and beyond, but currently it does seem to be an issue.Hope that helps!
