Politics of Australia: Should Australians have anything to miss about their outgoing prime minister, Tony Abbott?
No. Australia won't miss anything about Tony Abbott. He was quite possibly the worst Prime Minister the nation has ever had. Those on the left objected to his right wing agenda and the fact that he blocked progress on a number of key progressive areas. He took the nation's climate change policy backwards and his Stop The Boats rhetoric turned asylum seekers fleeing oppression into illegal terrorists. But even those who agreed with much of his ideology were frustrated with the way he governed the country. He didn't serve those on the right well and the frustration showed in comments made by right wing pundits like former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett and pundits like Alan Jones and Andrew Bolt. Abbott seemed to spend more time defending himself than achieving things and his policy platform floated in the wind. One of the main reasons he eventually lost the trust of the Australian people was his failure to deliver key promises (the Parental leave which was a key promise but never occurred) and the fact that two years into his time in office he was still citing The Boats and the Carbon Tax repeal as his achievements. The public had heard him crow about these two accomplishments for 12 months and needed something new from the government. Abbott was unable to deliver.

We have 2 Rudd Achiever High Energy Heat Pump units outside, Model # UPMD-048JAZ.Compressor R.L.A. 19.9/19.9 LRA 137 Design Pressure (High) 300, (Low) 150. We have to reset the High Pressure Control Reset button on the outside of the unit several times each day. We notice this needs to be done when we feel less than cool air coming through the vents. The outside fan is not moving until I press the reset. When I do press the reset, cool air will immediately begin to blow through the inside vents. The unit has an MFD of 07/2002. It was installed 03/2003 new. We have had the installer check out the unit and of course, "everything checks out ok, no problem". What is happening and what is the recommended remedy?

okaiyyy.....im 17 and in last year of sixth form, going on to university.i get bullied a lot in school and i was talking to a group of people they were sayin how they have all taken something and i hadnt and how i was a p***y so i wanted to prove them wrong and have everyone stop aiming everything at me. and i know what your thinking, this is something a young kid would do!!! i know i was stupid!!! but im sick to death of being called fat ugly, told everyone hates me, i just wanted it to stop....anyway i went in toTescos with my dad yesterday and while he was shopping i looked round to see if there was anything easy, well i took 2 things and put in my bag and went and found my dad. everything was ok till we got to the doors and the security guard came up to us and asked my dad if i was his daughter and asked us to follow him. they had caught me on cctv doin it!! of course i was gonna get caught cant believe i was that stupid!! anyway they didnt call the police or anything the just took my name and everything and banned me from there. i had never been so embarrassed then i was then i would of rather of wet my pants in front of everyone than that...... BUT now my mum and dad are ashamed if me my dad has gone to his mates for the weekend to get away from me and ive avoided my mum because i dont know what to say?? i am so so so embarrassed i dont know what to do!!! what can i say to my mother for her to forgive me and not be mad!! ive never done anything like this before and i just want to cry non stop!! please help me i dont need people tellin me i shouldnt of done it and its my fault because i know!!! i just want help and advise!!! please!! thankyouu!!

Because Kevin Rudd was a former Prime Minister from the Labor Party and Malcolm Turnbull is a Prime Minister who specialises in pandering to the far-right wing of his Liberal party. There was significant and petty opposition among conservative back-benchers about his request for nomination and they bullied him into making this decision despite the best wishes of his deputy and other members of cabinet.It is clear that Malcolm Turnbull, even after winning a “mandate”, is far from off the hook. I’d have thought that choosing the most suitable candidate for the job would be the role of the United Nations, not the Australian treasurer and a Senator from South Australia. Alas, the PM did not share my view.The fact that he was coerced into denying Rudd the nomination is confounded by the fact Turnbull had expressed confidence in the Former Prime Minister as Early as December 2015. 'Shocked' Rudd claims Turnbull said he backed him for UN job.
