Should People Be Given A Second Chance

Do you give second chances?

yes i do, i always give them the benefit of the doubt. well what if, if they are already true but you did not give them any chance, so what will happen? well for me theres nothing wrong with that, remember that it is always better to love and be hurt than not to love at all.

Do Sagittarius give second chances to other people?

Does Sagittarius give second chances to other people if something goes wrong between them? What if the Sagittarius and the other person don't see the issue in the same way? How do you figure out how to get a Sagittarius to understand?

Should the people who supported ISIS be given a second chance?

People who support ISIS are ISIS but just not armed yet. They are scattered terrorists who are not organised yet. They can kill you anytime, anywhere for the sake of God or religion.I would never ever want to have a conversation with someone supporting ISIS or the idea of killing for religion or any of this shit.A second chance!!! Oh please!!Only if they don't support the idea of killing for religion anymore. But I wouldn't trust them anyways.

Famous people who were given second chances and redeemed their selves?

(Nelson Mandela wasn't a terrorist...he was wrongly convicted and jailed.)
Definitely Bill Clinton--everyone was ready to throw him out of office because of the Monica Lewinsky thing, but we didn't, and he was a rather good President.
On a less famous note...Joseph Ellis is a very well-regarded author and historian (look him up on amazon.com; you'll find a lot of stuff.) He teaches at Mount Holyoke College, and a couple years ago it was discovered that, in one of his classes, stories he had told about being in Vietnam were made up--he had never been in Vietnam. The school didn't fire him, gave him another chance, and he is now an incredible asset to the school.

Would you give someone a second chance?

You have to ask yourself if you're willing to live with the effects of the wrongdoing. Once that is a part of a relationship, it's hard to heal from it. If you think that you can get past this problem and have a good strong relationship and your partner is willing to change and you can forgive them, then yes, you can always give someone a second chance. If you think this hurt will affect your relationship from now on, and that your relationship will never be as good again, you might want to give someone else a chance that won't do this to you.
It's really a personal decision that is based on each individual relationship. The most important thing is that you are happy.

Why do people not give second chances even after one has changed?

Personally, I don’t hold grudges. It’s pointless and a waste of my time, in which I could be worrying about something else.Nonetheless, it takes me a while to get angry. I am a very kind person, but if you cross that line, you’ll definitely regret it. I usually give people second chances, because I like to give them the benefit of the doubt.I give people second chances, because everyone deserves a second chance. We all make mistakes, it’s part of being human.

Should all criminals be given a second chance?

Criminals do deserve a second chance. I would even give a death row inmate a second chance by sending them to help fight the wars, providing they are not true psycho/socio paths. People make mistakes, some people lose control and mess up bad. Some people don’t deserve and will never deserve to be around their community but they can still gain some use out of their life after the fact. People do need monitoring after they are given that second chance though. Don’t blindly let them into your lives. People change but they also rely on the things they know how to do. A thief will rely on being a thief when they don’t see any other choice.

Should you give someone who hurt you a second chance?

It really depends on the person and the situation. We all make mistakes and no matter what kind of bond or relationship you have with someone you are bound to get hurt at one point or another. It really comes down to the severity of the hurt being put upon you.For me there are a few exceptions that i really can’t stand and won’t be giving a second chance though. If i’m in a relationship and the person who i’m with cheats on me , i will immediately terminate the relationship and never look back , the person is dead to me.Second , regarding friends and being in a relationship , constant lying and spinning the truth , i can take it for a while and give some chances to make it up to me , to explain why he/she did that , if there’s no real explanation and it doesn’t go anywhere , i will just break it off

Do people deserve a second chance for the mistakes they have made in life?

A SECOND CHANCE . . . .. . . For over 15 years, I was a successful engineer, working for Volvo and Yamaha. I had a beautiful home, children who adored their father, and a loving wife. However, after years of battling drug addiction I allowed drugs to take over my life. Work no longer had the same luster, financial responsibilities began to slip, I even missed my son's graduation chained to my addiction. I lost everything that I loved and cherished, all for the unfaithful love found at the end of a pipe. On this destructive path it was inevitable, I eventually lost my freedom. Today, as I reflect back, although nothing can ever replace the family and love that I lost, in my brokenness I've found an opportunity to become regenerated. First, I had to explore internal issues, a darkness within me had to be brought into the light. I had to confront the underlying issues that enabled me to lose control. I sought help through self-help groups such as Drug Counseling, Anger Management and Non-Violent Communications. But more importantly I developed a closer connection with my creator. With a healthier core, I became determined to enhance my skill set. I was afforded a rare opportunity to attend college classes at San Quentin, through Patten University. I also obtained Vocational training in Upholstery, and I gained Entrepreneurial skills through The Last Mile. Not overlooking all of the milestones I have achieved during my incarceration, I believe that I am at the threshold  of something even greater. I am one of 16 men within the California Prison system who have been selected to participate in a Coding program. I will receive training in Software Development technology.                                                                                                                        The fastest growing industry in the world! As I prepare to be released from prison, I am positioned to be received back into my community as a emotionally, morally, and spiritually healthier individual. I also will have the training and expertise to rejoin society as  a productive and valuable asset.I believe and hope you agree, life is about second chances, and sometimes a second chance is all it takes to save a life, I know it has mine.
