Should People Have The Right To Throw Away Their Rights

Do people have the right to overthrow an unjust system and replace it with one they see as just?

A right? No.

A moral obligation? Yes.

What are we the people of the U.S.A to do if they take all our right to carry or handle a gun, don't we have the right to protect our loved ones? If you take that away, we all might as well dig our own grave, because that is what is or will happen.

Compromise.There is no serious effort afoot to take guns away from law abiding citizens.Proponents of gun control believe making it more difficult to buy a gun illegally and at the same time make legal owners more responsible with their guns would not interfere with your right to bear arms.Guns should be registered and gun owners licensed just as we now do so for automobiles.Gun owners should be held legally liable for damages by anyone given permission to use their gun until legally transferred and registered to a named, qualified new owner or provide reasonable evidence of theft of the firearms.Anyone caught in possession of an unregistered firearm would face serious fines or jail time and the gun confiscated.Age limits to buy a gun should be raised to 21 years of age.Ammunition purchases should be tracked and recorded on license history records.There should be no anonymous gun owners.The ability to track guns and ammunition purchases back to the owners would make it less likely to be used in a crime.Holding owners legally responsible for damages done with their gun until sold and re-registered to a new owner would insure only qualified licensed buyers could obtain guns at private sales.Tracking ammunition purchases would help law enforcement officers find a starting point in solving crimesIn the case of unusual amounts of ammunition being purchased, law enforcement could be alerted to a potential crime in the making.It would also make it easier for authorities to recover stolen guns and return them to their legally registered owner.The goal is to make it more difficult for people who are immature, deranged or criminal to obtain or possess guns without interfering with your right to bear arms.

Why do some people just throw away life, if life is so precious?

This phrase is not true. Everything depends on the life you lead and what you suffer in it. If our society were more community it would be true but, unfortunately, it is not.The country should set an example by creating conditions so that no one lacks the minimum needs.But what are we going to say to people who live in countries where the right to social security and health care, the right to education and fair work, the right to affordable and dignified housing are rights that all beings humans we should have and that they do not exist.Can we tell them, without lying, that life is so precious, as it is said, to people who suffer from the lack of all those minimums?

Do the US citizens have a right to overthrow their government?

The Declaration of Rights says right in it "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,..."

Of course, we don't govern our nation based on the Declaration. Our gov't is run on the Constitution. There is no provision in the Constitution for over throwing the gov't.

But the Declaration is precedence. Our gov't exists only because we over threw the old one. And we can do it again if need be.

Do we still have the right to overthrow our government?

Like, social contrach theory that says if the govenment doesn't hold up their end of the bargain then they should be replaced with a more effective means of govenrnment. If, say the us government abolishes our second amendment rights, or our rights to free speech (which I do believe are disappearing kinda fast) do we not have a right to overthrow the government.

I don't believe its possible at this point, and out government has gotten too far out of wack with corruption and preparation for martal law for a "rebellion" to success (or at least a downsize of our government)

But my question is, don't we still, according to our constitutional rights have the right as citizens of America to overthrow our government if they stray off the path of the constitution. Or interfere with our natural rights?

If you are kicked out of your parents house do you have a right to gather your belongings?

This would depend upon, what the reasons were for your being kicked out, your age & what you actually own within your parents house.Ultimately, if you were kicked out of your parents house, for no real reason, other than they were angry & wanted you out, then i’d ask them why they’ve chosen to do this.If you’re a minor, then what they’re doing is actually illegal & i would be speaking to somebody older & close to you, about this & about their behaviour.If you’re a non minor & you’ve created an issue that has greatly upset your parents, so much so, that they have literally thrown you out of their home, then i’d encourage you to wait until the dust has settled & approach your parents gently & politely.Ask them if you can collect all that actually belongs to you, because they’re your things & you require them urgently.Also, do you have somewhere to stay?It’s one thing to be kicked out of your family home, but surely your parents wouldn’t want their own son/daughter, sleeping out on the streets.Do you work, study, or live off temporary benefits?These are some of the important factors that you must consider, when your life’s been suddenly impacted.If you have somehow “hurt” your parents, then you should try to make peace with them, by apologising to them for your behaviour.If your parents have hurt you & you made the decision to leave their home, then with time, once you’ve all calmed down, you can let them know how you feel & that you too, demand an apology.Remember, you’re all family, so you should all show respect toward each other & you should all try to sort things out & make peace with each other.We humans are very complex beings & we most often allow our emotions to rule us & to get in the way of making peace.The good news is, it doesn’t have to be this way.You can make peace, if you “choose” to & even if your parents were at fault, you can still “choose” to take the higher ground & set some really positive examples/principles.All the best & take care! :-)

I threw away my parent's cigarettes and my mum just blew up at me. What do I do? Please help me!?

I honestly believed I was doing the right thing because my dad was trying to quit smoking. So I threw it away. I don't know what to do. I feel like such a fool. Acc. to my mother in her clenched teeth outburst she threateaned to kick me out of the house. Please tell me what to do to stop feeling so depressed and find a way to calm my mother down.
