A high school just created an anti-dress code for students and they can wear ripped jeans, pajamas, shorts, tank tops and halter tops. Do you support this new policy?
I do support this new policy, as after reading the article on it, I saw that there were still limitations on what students could wear, but it let students wear clothing items such as the ones you stated, which shouldn’t be a problem to anybody.The items they took off of the dress code included things such as spaghetti straps, ripped jeans, pajamas, shirts with no shoulder covers; among others.They made sure to provide guidelines on the clothes that they were allowed to wear, such as the ripped jeans couldn’t reveal any underwear, no nipples could be showing, and of course, no genitals could be seen.I think that this was a good decision for the school board to make, as it allows for the students at the school to be able to wear what they want, and not have their class time be disrupted because they are being pulled out of class to receive a lecture on why those pesky spaghetti straps are causing multiple boys to stare at your shoulders during class time, or that the pajama pants you’re wearing just puts everybody that looks at you in a sleepy mood.Furthermore, I think that all schools should adopt these policies, because really, if you’re a male high school student that gets a kick out of seeing a girl’s bare shoulders, there’s probably something wrong there.
Why don't American school students wear uniforms?
I am from Sydney, Australia, and we love watching American sitcoms. I notice that American Students are always looking so hip in their own attire, how is it that you guys never wear school uniforms? Students in Australia must wear school uniforms right up until the end of highschool.
Should school students be allowed to wear uniforms in arcade?
No!!!! they are not working there right?!?!?! why should they?!?!?!?! an arcade is a place to have fun, be loose and kool. why would anyone trying to pla want to be in a hot stuffy tight uniform???? uniforms should be for work and school ONLY. its pretty stupid to wear uniforms to an arcade!!! no, but they shouldnt be kicked out or anything if they are wearing it because it isnt a cult or something lol
Should students be able to wear tank tops and flip-flops to school?
i think that all schools should require uniforms. it makes it easy for the parents who have to purchase every new trend that their kids want for school. you should be focused on learning and getting good grades, not on how good you look in your new clothes. sure, you can wear other clothes on the weekends so you can show your unique individuality.
Why aren't students allowed to wear hoodies/jackets in school?
At the school where I teach, we were told students could easily hide weapons in the pockets of hoodies. We were also told that if students are vandalizing or breaking some other rule, they often put up the hoods of their jackets or hoodies to hide their faces from cameras. Just think: "A boy in a dark hoodie spray-painted the wall." versus "A red-haired boy with a mustache spray-painted the wall." Unfortunately, this is a supreme example of the good taking the fall for the bad. Most students wear hoodies and jackets to keep warm or for fashion, but sadly, the one who wear them for bad reasons make them forbidden possessions.
Are (or were you) allowed to wear sandals to school?
Today I see a lot of kids wearing sandals to school whether they are flip flops, Tevas, Birkenstocks, Dr Martens, and others, when I was working as a cab driver, and I would wait to pick up kids, and as I was waiting, I would see the students, (both boys and girls) walk around in sandals, in shorts or jeans etc. When I was in school, I rarely seen students in sandals like I do now. So are you allowed to wear sandals to school?
Can you wear a hood or a hat in classroom in your country/school? Unfortunately my school is dumb and doesn't allow us to have anything on?
Our heads. My question is, why? I feel more comfortable with a hat/hood on my head so what's the problem? I wear them anyways but teacher says that I have to take that off afterwards.
