How does social media affect our lives?
Media plays very a important role and has influence in virtually every aspect of our lives. It is considered as the best source to know about the happenings of world. Newspaper, magazine, radio, television and internet are the different types of media. It greatly affects our lives because media has the power to influence our thoughts. This influence is sometimes positive and sometimes negative.Positive effects:Earth has become a global village due to media. We can know about any part of the world within minutes through television and internet. Media is the best way to spread knowledge, information and news from one part of the world to the other.Media educates the people to know about their basic rights and how to use them. It is also a link between the government and people because all the policies and activities of government are conveyed through media.Education programs help the people to learn anything through internet, television and radio. Children can develop their skills and intellect by watching these programs because audio and visual media makes it quite easy to understand.Advertisements help us to know the different products in the market and we can easily make our choices according to our needs.Weather forecast programs tell us about the weather so that we can take precautions or plan accordingly.Negative effects :Media is the most influential one for the people to resort violence. Studies have suggested that the exposure to violence on television, movies and video games make the children more aggressive, fearful, less trusting and more accepting of violence. This does not mean that they will start bringing weapons in the school but they will be more aggressive and less trusting towards their friends, teachers and siblings.Sex and violence in media also lead towards the sex crimes in the society. It traumatizes youngsters which result in abuse in the home, streets, towards children etc.Some advertisements try to influence the people by telling them the importance of branded items. As a result children and youngsters become status conscious and thinks that by using these items they can show their high status in the society. To fulfill their needs or to impress others they many times go violent to get money.Every coin has two sides, similarly Media has positive and negative effects.
Should the government rate our music?
im duing a persuasive paper on whether or not the government should rate our music... personaly i cant seem to pick a side... its a cross... losing control of more things that make our indivuality or protecting kids from ruined lives and emotions?
Why are people so complacent and dont even what to care about what is realy going on in the government.?
OK SO Im not trying offendend anyone but why is it that people still think 9 11 was a tarries attack. Even when this subject is brot up they say "Dont you know how many people died', or 'how dare you say 9 11 was a inside job" and so on. Look at building 7, ther are hundreds and thousands of people within all fields in governmen millitary control dimolishon experts that all say 9 11 was a inside job!!! Their are hundreds of I witneses that say they heard bomb exploding even before and after the towers collapsing, Their is footage of fighter fighter say"That was a bomb, any one of thees building might blow up" And when I try to show anyone anything to wake them up, they DON'T CARE!!!. Look at the bilderberg meetings, did you know that most of are ellicted presedents all go to thees secreat meatings. I mean Look, did you know that every war sents vietnam was all fony wars. Look; the jenreals on both sides of the Vietname and US all say"To this fary day, I still dont know what hapined that day when we declared war in viatnam with when the prisedent used exicutive orders because they attacked a fiew of are ships. generals actualy sad that ""ON VIDEO FOOTAGE" "To this fary day, I still dontknow what hapend on that day when we declared war" sorry for the horibble spelling. I have spelling problems, I was born that way. So, do we still have a chance to politicaly take back Americal from the globalist and the communist. But then you need a mile of mud sliced through with ditches, not to mention black boots, bomb craters, more mud, a plague of rats, a dozen songs and some round hats made of steel. In an age of aeroplanes, you may fly miles above your victim and dispose of him by pressing one small switch. All you then require is an ocean to separate you, two systems of government, a nation's scientists, several factories, a psychopath and land that no-one needs for several years. These are, as I began, cumbersome ways to kill a man. Simpler, direct, and much more neat is to see that he is living somewhere in the middle of the twentieth century, and leave him there. now we prefer to chat more that face to face talking.. we love computer more than books.. we want freedom, we forget our parents... people don't read books, and forget humanity...i think you got your answer.
Rap music is dangerous to our youth - agree or disagree?
The music is all about violence, stealing, hating women, having no hope and "taking what's yours." Is this really how we want our kids to think? What happened to family and education - which is available to all. Most of the people who adhere to this lifestyle end up in jail or working at McDonald's for the rest of their lives. What a waste! And please, spare me the "racism" comments. I haven't mentioned race in any way. I'm commenting about the dangerous message that rap music sends.
