Should The Us File Civil Rights Charges Against Zimmerman

Does George Zimmerman stand a fair chance at winning a defamation lawsuit against NBC News?

Not a chance.  The words were his.  The editing was unfair to be sure.  But it does not rise to defamation by omission.  Now bloggers on Quora who have called him a murderer--that's a horse of another color.

How did palmer raids violates civil rights?

(1) First Amendment rights: These include freedom of speech, association and assembly, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion, including the strict separation between church and state.

(2) Equal protection of the law: The right to equal treatment regardless of race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, physical handicap, or other such classification. These rights apply to the voting booth, the classroom, the workplace and the courts.

(3) Due process of law: The right to be treated fairly when facing criminal charges or other serious accusations that can result in such penalties as loss of employment, exclusion from school, denial of housing, or cut-off of benefits.

(4) The right of privacy and autonomy which cannot be penetrated by the government or by other institutions, like employers, with substantial influence over the individual's rights.

Why did George Zimmerman kill Trayvon Martin?

I agree, i'm so angry with this outcome, Trayvon was the one using SELF DEFENSE, Zimmerman came after HIM and then declares to using self defense, complete bull, Zimmerman caused it, he should of been given AT LEAST manslaughter, its a shame, this society is so corrupt, even the Casey Anthony trial, same thing...let off free.

- TRAYVON attacked him because Zimmerman came after him, if some creep was following you and stalking you, your telling me you would let this guy come after you and being a young boy of course he's going to try and defend himself, trayvon was the on using self defense!!!! you people are idiotic, Zimmerman is a creep, there was no need to kill someone, if it really was self defense why not shoot him in the leg huh? that would of stopped him! why did he have to actually KILL another human being, trayvon deserved to LIVE and have life, so what if he smoked pot or wasn't a straight A student, that doesn't make it ok to kill someone, I believe he didn't want trayvon to be there to testify. sick world we live in.

Is it against the laws of war to shoot an unarmed fleeing solider?

I am ex british military and this is the british law.

The law states:

You may only use lethal force if someone is committing or about to commit an act likely to endanger human life, you may not use lethal force to protect property.

Minimum necessary force must be used.

Which basically means if you have just seen someone shoot another person and then he/she holds the gun by their side you may not use lethal force, if they then raises it to shoot someone then they are about to commit an act likely to endanger human life. If you shoot him once and he goes down then that is minimum necessary force and you must not fire anymore.

Believe it or not this includes war, we have several soldiers up on murder charges for not following these rules.

If I'm a felon in Alaska, what gun rights do I have?

Let me answer this since many answers are wrong here: under AS 11.61.200, a felon can not own a firearm “capable of being concealed”, (ie; a handgun) but can legally possess/own a rifle or shotgun.Further, the felon can possess or own a handgun if, “ten years have elapsed between the date of the unconditional discharge on the prior offense…and the prior conviction did not result from a violation of AS 11.41” (which is a violent crime against persons). This is Alaska law, so a felon still can't buy a firearm from a FFL. And, while I have been told the Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of an Alaskan charged federally because Alaska is seen as a special case, (subsistence hunting is so important here and there are so many critters up here who find us tasty) I have never reviewed that case law.My experience is that unless you are committing a new crime with the firearm, the feds don't have the time to charge every Alaskan felon with a gun crime. And, you are not violating Alaska law.***Before anyone argues with me, I listed the state code above. Also, the feds are not overly interested in felons in possession cases without another crime involved. They call it “disproportionate to resources”. Nor, do we forward many reports to them.

Fellow Christians, what is to be made of this Picture? is it Justice? Revenge? or Racism in reverse ?

The media is blowing this case out of proportion.

NBC has already been proven that it edited pictures and audio to make it appear like Mr. Z was guilty.

There is a lynch mod mentalitiy going on and that's wrong.

I could not find any evidence the site you referenced was made by anyone in ministry.

The word "Pastor" does not appear on that site, at least not from what I saw and yes I had a computer scan the page and it could not find the word, "Pastor".

The people in the State of Florida have enacted a "Stand your ground" statue to give legal protection to those who are threatened. The people in the State of Florida not only give their citizens a "Right to Carry" but also the "Right to use" deadly force to protect their lives and their property.

NBC News has given ammo to this "Lynch mob" and ought to be ashamed of itself.

If anyone gets hurt in the riots which might follow this case, NBC executives and the NBC employees who put that edited lies on the air, should be tried for murder and face time in jail.

The State of Florida has the death penalty and perhaps if an NBC News executive or NBC employee is put to death, that will put a stop to this lying on TV News.

I hope and pray there are no riots, but with activists putting a price on Mr. Z's head, history tells me it is bound to happen.

If it does, the news media which fanned these flames need to be tried for being part of the conspiracy to commit murder.

And if a Law Enforcement Officer is killed in the process, then in my view, perhaps many news executives should be severely punished.

Freedom of the Press is not Freedom to lie and the Freedom to inspire a lynch mob, and it certainlhy seems to me, that's what we have here.
