Why is there so much hate between Hindus and Muslims in India?
I will speak only for myself!Yesterday I attended a Muslim wedding as the bride and the groom both happen to be my schoolmates and it's a love marriage.Scene 1:Bride's dad show up.Friend 1: Hello uncle. Uncle: Hi.Friend 2 (Prajapathi): As-salamu walekum. Uncle: Waalaikum salaam.Me: Namaste uncle. Uncle: Namaste beta.Scene 2:Bride's brother turns up.“Veg is upstairs. Have soon before the non-vegetarians (he meant Muslims) invade veg counters”. He accompanied us and made sure we tasted every dish.Scene 3:All the male guests hugged the hosts. Brahmin, lingayat, Muslim, Christian,Prajapathi, Gowda. Every damn person.More than 50% of the guests were Hindus.Do you see any hate here!?I am neither proud of any of the above instances because this is how it is supposed to be.I have changed 7 schools, 2 colleges, 8 houses, 6 different localities over past 25 years and have not witnessed any actions that shows hate towards any religion or community.We are brahmins. My dad's best friend is a Christian. My best friend is a Muslim. And my mom…well she doesn't have many friends.The majority of commoners in India are living a peaceful life with the other religions.There is a problem of mis-interpretation among the masses and the media is very well aware of this.We hate those who preach against hinduism, we do not hate Muslims.We hate those who slaughter cows. We do not hate Muslims.We hate those who destroy temples. We do not hate Muslims.We hate those who spread terror/violence. We do not hate Muslims.P.S: This is what I have heard. Correct me if I am wrong. Who are Hindus? All the citizens of Hindustan are Hindis. It seems even in Mecca the Indian Muslims who go for pilgrimage are/were addressed as “Hindis” because they are from Hindustan.It's my nation. It's your nation. If Muslims can worship without idols, then why can't Hindus do the same?
This is a false propaganda that Muslims don't worship idols. When Muslims offer Namaz or prayer to Allah, their face is always towards Mecca. In fact they don't face Mecca. They face a cube shape building which is called as Kabba means the house of Allah.In Pic:- KabbaIn the east side of this building, their is a stone known as Black Stone of Kabba and this is what they offer their prayers to. I think it is. So Muslims indirectly always do idol worship.Now coming back to the question why can't Hindus worship without idols ?Hindus don't worship idols rather they use them as a physical representation of God. The logic of Hinduism is very clear. We Hindus believe that God is everywhere. It is present in every living and non living thing. So we believe that God is also present in a stone. Thus there is no harm or wrong in worshipping a stone or idols.But is it mandatory to worship an idol ?The answer is NO. It is no where mentioned in the Vedas that you can't worship without an idol. An idol only helps in increasing the concentration and focus.Moreover there is a scientific reason for this. The temples are made by performing some important rituals so that they become conducive for offering prayers. There is a proper process known as “ Pran Pratishtha” In which an energy is infused in a stone by chanting certain mantras. Thus these temples creates a peaceful and proper environment to offer prayers to almighty God. But it is also true that a real devotee doesn't need any temple and idol.The Sadhus who live in Jungles or Himalayas don't worship any idol. They only meditate there and chant God's name. In fact India and Hinduism are known for such Yogis in world. It is mentioned in our different holy texts that how Rishis or Sadhus and Kings used to mediate for long time in Jungles to praise the God by only chanting Mantras.The beauty of Hinduism is that there is no one and strict law like other abrahmic religions. So there is no such restrictions. Hindus can pray with or without idols.Thanks for reading.

I want to respond to a comment you made. (If it matters, I thought you were very polite to a somewhat rude answer). However, when you announce you're "educated", you can't run around claiming a man "isn't the same person" you met 3 years ago. Of course he is! Instead, you fell "in love" way too quickly before getting to know his character. Even worse, it sounds like you've been doing this ever since splitting with your babydaddy. Have you ever stopped to wonder how this has damaged your daughters? It's not even possible for them to escape this unscathed. If you want honest answers, you have TWO options here, not 3. You can terminate the pregnancy without him knowing, which shouldn't be difficult since you're supposedly ending it. Option 2 is move away, get a restraining order if he stalks you, have the baby, and be prepared to raise it ON YOUR OWN. This means your move away should be quick and quiet, which shouldn't be hard if your girls are on their own. But for obvious reasons you can't ask him for child support. These are the 2 options. I'm sure you're contemplating the 3rd, which is raise the baby with him. If you're as smart as you seem to think you are, surely you see that this is the most selfish thing you could do. You're exposing an innocent baby to a monster just because you think you're in "love" with that monster. That's the emotional maturity of a teen, not a 40 year old woman. Also, if you do raise this child, stop dating. You say you're not afraid of being alone ,but that's borderline comical. If that was true, why the parade of jerks you've been dating all along? A good friend of mine is a single mom (oddly, the dad also was Lebanese) and she's just now starting to date. Her daughter is a freshman in college. So you ARE afraid of being alone. Your actions prove this.

My parents don't let me live my life and I am 23 years old. What should I do?
As others have said, you put yourself in this very undesirable situation because by being financially dependent on your parents at an age when a young adult should be providing for himself, you have aided and abetted your parents in making you their hostage, and keeping you as such. You've never had a job before? Well, there's a first time for everything and you are long overdue on this important step. Get out there to look for a job that will earn you enough income to be self-supporting. If you are unwilling or unable to do this, or if you'd rather make excuses for why you can't than to try, you will probable be stuck where you are, completely dependent on people who see you as a child in dire need of their constant supervision and suffocating rules.The choice is yours.
