How long does it take before a court case is thrown out of court?
My friend is waiting for his crown court date, it was supposed to be over 2 month ago for the trial but keeps getting delayed due to one of the prosecution witness being abroad. My friend should not really be in court, he was minding his own business when he was a approached by some drunken yobs, he woould have got beaten up if he hadn't hit the guy that went for him, unfortuniately my friend has a hard punch and it knocked the guy tio the ground. now he's up in crown court!!! this happened back in october last year. does anyone know how long this can go on for before it gets thrown out?
Can a case be thrown out of court if the warrant had the wrong birthday of the person the warrant was issued for?
Exclusion of evidence for faulty search warrants are common enough but i am unsure if a wrong birthday on a warrant can result in a case being thrown out,Police who have such a warrant with corrent name but wrong birthday - will hold the suspect until the suspect can prove that the suspect is not the person on the warrant or until the court can correct the mistake - as long as this is done within 24 hours. Otherwise the Police will have to spring the suspect with no further resort.However case will not be thrown outCase will be thrown out only if - a search warrant which obtained evidence was faulty - ie:- wrong address etc.
If a case was thrown out of court(disposed) can it be reopened?
Most of those cases that are dismissed by a court are cases that lack a specific element to move forward. Once the element is produced the prosecution has the right to refile the case and move it through the system. It appears that the prosecution has significant interest in prosecuting you enough so that they have spent the time working on the issue that failed them with the court the first time....I doubt that they will fail a second time. Might want to pony up with a good attorney and see if you can cut a deal.....and do so real quick.

How many times can ongoing cases be adjourned at Crown Court before they are thrown out?
I completely defer to James’ answer, and it seems the courts are breaking due to lack of funding and cases are constantly adjourned. However there is a final limit guaranteed under human rights law. Art 6 of the ECHR protects the right to fair trial and states “everyone is entitled to a fair and public hearing within a reasonable time”. This is enshrined in UK law in the Human Rights Act. So although trials can be adjourned for years in practice, eventually someone should bring up human rights should the wait be exceptional.
How exactly do you throw your contact lenses away?
I have had contacts for over 15 years. Every month (or so) I throw the lenses only in the trash. Some eye care professionals are recommending to replace your case every 3 months or so. I usually just rinse the case out with water. I have had the same case for over a year.

I guess a lady (blonde) from OJ's party came up to him afterward and said something like "He has the freedom to eat where he wants..." and Ruby said "You're blonde... be careful that he doesn't slit your throat next!" I love it! The steakhouse is private property. The owner can refuse service to ANYONE. Just like a department store can charge you with trespassing if you've been asked to leave and then choose to come back against their wishes. We're not talking a courthouse or freeway here folks... PRIVATE PROPERTY. And it ain't about race. So shut up to the lawyer(s), OJ and anyone else with him for whining racism! (Sorry if anyone thought I was randomly ranting...
