Show Me Step By Step How To Write Your Own Glossary

Could you show me step by step how to do 2(a-4)-3(a-2)=4(a+1)+4 ?

Okay, here's how:

2(a-4)-3(a-2)=4(a+1)+4 [Here is your given equation]

2a-8-3a+6=4(a+1)+4 [I distributed everything on the left side of the equal sign]

2a-8-3a+6=4a+4+4 [Then I distributed everything on the right side of the equal sign]

-a-8+6=4a+8 [Comine like terms for both sides]

-8+6=5a+8 [Added "a" for both sides]

-2=5a+8 [Comine like terms for left side]

-10=5a [Subtract -8 for both sides]

-10=5a [Divide 5 for both sides]

-2=a or a=2 [This is your answer]

How do I check an essay step by step?

You need to retrace your own footsteps using the eyes of another. That is, you must work your way through your essay, word by word and paragraph by paragraph, as though you had never seen it before, looking for and finding all the errors and inconsistencies you couldn't see when you were looking at it through your own eyes.I often use a technique I think of as “successive passes.” That is, I read through the piece several times, each time getting progressively deeper into the guts of the thing and looking for broader, more fundamental issues. I start by trying to spot superficial things like spelling, punctuation, and capitalization errors. Then on the next pass through, I look more closely at sentence structure, grammar, syntax, and things like consistency in the use of tense and person. I look for an economy of language, freedom from wordiness and unnecessary filler words. On another pass through, I look for structural and organizational issues. Do the paragraphs stick to their topic or do they digress and ramble? Are the points and arguments each clearly and unequivocally defined—free from vagueness and ambiguity? Have I run ideas together that should remain distinct? Do the ideas flow logically from one to the next, or do they seem to jump around with no clear sense of order or direction? Have I been repetitious, making the same point or saying the same thing I said before? Have I made arguments here that I should have made back there? Finally, I consider whether the piece actually got the job done. Did it successfully make its point or prove its hypothesis or explain the issue or procedure? If not, what was missing? What went wrong? Where did it run off the rails? When you proofread your work, mark it up. Use the markup function of your word processor, or grab a red (or blue) pencil, and correct errors, make comments and annotations, and write down possible alternative sentences and paragraphs. Then remove your editor's hat and put your author's hat back on and go through the markup, either incorporating your changes or deliberately rejecting them.

Can someone show me their steps to the following question?

I'll show you the steps for the second part (shells). You are to compute the volume of half a sphere. A shell is the surface of a sphere.Ask yourself the following question: How much paint do I need to cover the (curved part of the) surface of half a sphere? Well, the amount of paint is exactly the surface area. Assuming you already know the surface area of a full sphere is [math]4 \pi r^2[/math], so the amount of paint needed to paint half a sphere is of course [math]2 \pi r^2[/math]. We need this formula in the following. Now think about a 3D printer. It works by literally painting over the same area again and again. So to make a half sphere, you need to start with a dot, paint it, thus creating a (very small) half-sphere. Then paint it again, making it slightly larger, and then again and again, until the half sphere has the final size of radius 1.The TOTAL amount of paint used is then equal to the volume! Therefore, you need to ADD UP all the small surface areas. In the process, you must remember to factor in the thickness of each layer.Imagine for the moment that the thickness is 0.1. Then the total amount of paint needed can be written as:[math]0.1\Big(2\pi (0)^2 + 2\pi (0.1)^2 + \ldots + 2\pi (0.9)^2\Big)[/math].In the limit of ever thinner slices, this can be written as the integral:[math]\int_0^1 2\pi x^2 dx[/math]. The rest you can do yourself :-)

What are the steps to write a business plan for a hardware startup?

All businesses can be boiled down to three basic building blocks: an asset owned and/or controlled by the business that when used in a product allows the customer to gain a competitive advantage, that is reduces the risk of doing something; processes, to build the product and get it consumed by the customer; and risks surrounding the whole. In other words, the busy part of the word business is the repeatable processes and risk management activities that make the asset available to customers. This all you need to know about business. When writing a business plan I suggest writing in the same way as this adds a qualitative degree of clarity. Start with the asset, identify the customer and the risk your asset will help them reduce. Then explain the processes to make the product/service and the processes that will help the customer use it. Usually, most businesses can get here without too much difficulty. It is the next part where doubts set in. Now, identify the risks to the asset, the customer, the product, the processes, the business on the whole, and the market. There are usually problems here because of our natural tendency to see only the risks but not the opportunities and get lost on a long, long list. To help keep you track, only consider those risks and opportunities that will have a significant impact on getting a return on the asset.Next, look at everything you wrote down and identify all the assumptions you made. And I'm certain you made a number of them. So go back to the beginning, identify and write down the assumptions and adjust your plan so that eliminates as many as possible. But don't forget to keep an explicit list of the ones that remain. Now do your financial projections over 3 years - no need to do more - with more detail in the beginning and less toward the end. If you want do the beginning on a daily basis and the end in quarters with months in between. However, do it in such a way that it is easy to add everything up into months, quarters, and years for presentation purposes. Do it on a cash basis only and state your assumptions here too.Now you have a complete business plan and can go back to the beginning to rework it until you satisfied and convinced of what you are doing. For more information about this approach check out my website wow.returnonkeycomponent.com and/or download the book/ebook from a leading retailer.

How do I write a novel? I have already written 24 pages and I don't know how to proceed further. Please guide me step by step.

Hi !Mine is a simplified approach with a bit of math involved.First up, we as writers ideally deal with word count and not pages (just to pass on something I learnt). Having said that, give yourself an approximation. How many words will you be writing? Using that figure/number as a guide, make a list of chapters and how many words per chapter you're looking at. Please understand, this can be more or less in the final draft (but we're pretty fat from that right now).Next, you now know how many words per chapter you'll be working on. For e.g., you're going to be writing 2000 words per chapter. So maybe you want to break that down by 10 or 5. Why? These numbers - 10 or 5 - ate the topics you'll be dealing with in that chapter. Note those topics down. Again, you have a topic for 200 words but you're unsure of how to proceed. No problem. Put in sub-topics, maybe 4 for e.g. So here each sub-topic works out to be about 50 words. You can now, perhaps make a list of 5 words, key to your topic and write a 10-word sentence using each key word. Most of the times, you're likely to write beyond the set target. That's ok and that's actually good! If you hit a block, follow the simplification process as described above. You'll be fine.Happy writing. :)

Can somebody explain to me how to do with steps this little problem?

I will give you the advice my old PreCalc teacher gave me. He was dyslexic, yet he had a masters in Math. He had a little rule or gimmick for everything! The number 1 thing he loved to do was go completely bananas with Parentheses. He would put parentheses up just in case the computer or calculator got confused. So if we were to apply his gimmick to this problem, here is what it would look like:[math]\Big( 2 ( 8 ) \Big) / (-8) \longrightarrow \frac{ \Big( 2 ( 8 ) \Big) }{(-8)} \longrightarrow \frac{ 2(8) }{-8} [/math]The answer, then, is C.
