Sims Life Stories- has anyone solved the DirectX installation issue?
Hi, I had the same problem and this worked for me: 1. Start the installer as usual, get to the message that tells you about the DirectX problem, do not press OK. 2. Click the "Start" button, then click "Run", type "regedit" without quotes. 3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ App Paths\ SimsLS.exe in the registry tree. 4. Find the key titled "DirectX Installed". 5. Change it's value from 0 to 1. 6. Press Ctrl-Alt-Tab and close the Autorun.exe process. 7. Now start the installation again. How would I install CC in the Sims 3?
Go to websites like Mod The Sims or The Sims Resource to find the content you want. Download like normal, as you would with anything else using the Download button.Now yu can move any .package straight to the Mods folder (Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods). Other file types need to be extracted, such as .rar; however, .sims3pack items can be installed via the Sims 3 launcher. Just move those into the same route as above but in the Downloads folder instead of Mods.Around the Sims 3 does some great content that’s installed via the launcher, including escalators, professional make-up and conversions of items from The Sims 4.
I need help installing sims 2!!!! PLEASE HELP!?
well yesturday for christmas i got this sims 2 game for my computer. So now im trying to install it and i enter my lanuage-english, then i click the file i want it to be saved in, THEN this stupid little popup comes up and says: The sims 2 will install an additional 324 MB of data on the drive C:. Please ensure there is enough free space, then click OK to proceed. WELL i click the stupid OK button but it does nothing. i have pressed this damn ok button a million times and its hell fustrating. Ive checked to see if i hav enough room and it says i have 3.03 GB of free space. But i want to know how much free space i hav in MB. coz i hav no idea if GB are bigger than MB. geez im so confused. i really wanna play this damn game but i cant if i cant get passed the 4th step in installing it!!!!! please someone help me b4 i go insane or if someone has had the same problem installing ther sims2 game IM me and tell me how u fixd it whoever helps me is my friggen herrroooooo.

Well these are the possible reasons:* -Did it hang? Most likely pressing OK button a hundred times means it hang. You need to check the background tasks. Maybe the computer is running too many task, it will be resulting for the computer to hang. If you dont know how to open the taskmgr.exe, simply press Alt,Ctrl and Delete. Be careful to close many tasks, DO NOT DELETE explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe. Also, DO NOT DELETE SYSTEM and LOCAL SYSTEM TASKS -Did you put the wrong disk? Don't get mad easily on me but maybe you put the wrong disk. Maybe you bought fake ones if you said that you are correct. Try exploring a little in the disk and find the one that will update The Sims 2. -Found already the reason? Go online at www.ea.com and ask about it at their customer support. *Staments not copied, thought only
Help! after install the sims 2 bon voyage it uninstall sims 2 seasons!?
This is a known issue with installing some of the later EPs - it tells you that it uninstalled the previous EP during the installation process. It's not happened to me so I don't know the solution I'm afraid. What you could do is uninstall BV, replace your backed up EA Games folder (use a copy just in case) in My Documents (you made a back up right? Like you were told to just before you installed) and then try reinstalling Seasons and BV again. Either that or try the main game site (The Sims or even the technical help section at the EA Games site) - it's such a common problem that I think there is some advice posted there.

How do I see contacts of both my sims in my android dual sim phone?
Go to the Phone > Settings > Contacts and then there is an option usually under the name of Contacts to Display from , select both the SIM’s and other options you want from there and you will easily get all the contacts .Hope this helps …..
The sims 2 Expansion pack Update Error...?
I've installed The Sims 2, original game. Than i wanted to Install the University pack. The Installation of the University goes without a problem, but when it finishes it want to update and asks for the Sims 2 CD4. Than I put the CD4 in the Drive and click the OK button and nothing happens. So i have to click on the Cancel button so the Installation rolls back to 0%.... I've tried to restart the PC when it asks for the CD4 for update. Than the game goes without a problem, just i cannot install the next expansion pack, the "Nightlife". 'cause if I Install it the University won't work... Please Help ME! If someone had the same problem please write me. Thank!

Yes you still can.. But you need to invest little sum of 999 to get into that. There are three options to get both Sims working for you.1. Insert both Sims into the phone and activate your jio4G application using the 2nd Sim. Login using the 2nd Sim to get it activated. Jio 4G application will require Jio4G based network to remain activated thus there will be no issue using the 2nd Sim while you are using 1st Sim based network which is also Jio.You can use its dialer for calls and messages.Activate the 1 Sim in your phone. It will use your phone dialer for call, message and internet.If you wish to use 2nd Sim for Internet then you need to reverse the same settings.2. You can forward all your 2nd Sim calls to 1st Sim (Jio calls are free). So there would be no issue in receiving the calls. This will not work for internet and messages.3. Buy a new Jiofi device and set up your jio4G application using Sim 2. You can use wifi for network access and calls and messages will be managed through jio4G application. You can still use your Sim 1 internet by switching to mobile data mode. It could be the inteenminator. It may also be another hack you have downloaded and it's conflicting with the inteenminator. Try moving all your global hacks out, then re-start your game and see how it works. Then you can slowly add in your global hacks. Inteenimanator is a great hack, but it conflicts with quite a few others, so I took it out. Once you take out the global hacks, those error's should not show up and your sims will revert back to normal aging. EDIT: calm down. my email and IM are open if you need further help, I rarely go back and check answers, so you'll need to contact me that way. If all of your downloads are just in a hodgepodge kinda way in your downloads folder, then you will have no way of knowing which cc is effecting your game. You will need to move out your downloads folder (don't delete, just move it out of your sims folder) then re-start your game. If it works fine, then yes that is the problem. You can create a new downloads folder, then slowly add in your cc (hopefully by date and item, this allows you to monitor what and when you add items so you can find conflicts easier) then each time you add cc back in (you can add about 15 items at a time and you'll be able to track them) then start your game. this will allow you to find the problem. Again though, inteenminator is a great hack, but it will conflict with many other global hacks. I would start by taking out global hacks first.
