I'm trying to sort through your question and hopefully I'm answering correctly, because I don't know what a visa level has to do with a resort. (A visa level is required for a vacation home in World Adventures, but is not necessary for or connected to running a resort in Island Paradise.)

And re-editing my answer below as I've now played longer and have been running a resort.

Short answer is yes, you can run a resort and build up to a high-class resort in any world, including Hidden Springs. Oceanfront and ocean-access land is NOT necessary for a resort, even the high-class ones.

Your Sim can use the phone or computer and become a resort owner, in which you will be given a choice of open lots that your Sim can afford and then turn it into a resort, or they can purchase a lot as normal real estate (Sims can now own several homes and lots) and then go into map view and click the lot to convert it to a resort. If you actually are in Isla Paradiso, you get the opportunity to take over an abandoned resort for free, but it takes some money to turn the dump around.

This cannot be done in Egypt, China, or France, if you have World Adventures. You cannot purchase lots in those locations unless you have a level 3 visa to buy a vacation home. That cannot be turned into a resort, as you can't run a business or live in those worlds. You must be in a home world, like Hidden Springs, to own and run a resort.

Why won't the Sims 3 Hidden Springs work?

So, on my PC, I have installed the Sims 3 and the Pets expansion pack. Today I went and bought the Sims 3 Hidden Springs. After installing it on my computer, it won't work!!! Every time I press play it says "No game disc found! Please insert the Sims 3 Pets game disc before proceeding." It's very frustrating seeing as I've been trying to fix it for 3 hours now...Not really sure what to do now so that's why I'm turning to you. Please help? I'm quite frustrated. :(

Get lucky palms!!!!! It is way bigger than hidden springs! Lucky palms is actually the best world out there because ea put a lot more effort into this one. Plus it has a story about the whole town and what happened to it. The people who created it made it even more detailed, especially in the water and mountains. Hidden springs only has the fountain of youth, which acts magical but just plain does nothing! The lucky palms has a wishing well that grants you wishes on multiple things, like a child, wealth, love, happiness, and more! Get lucky palms!

I JUST found one. It was located -across the street- from Grady's Junkstop. There are three trees there that form a triangle. It was between the tree at the top of the "triangle" and the rock coming out of the hill. I hope it spawns for you.

As of now, there is no way to change weather in the Sims 3. However, The Sims 3 Seasons expansion pack is coming in November. So, if you want weather in your game, then it's one that you should consider investing in. :)

Where can I find the Fountain of Youth in the Sims 3 Hidden Springs?

There's a Fountain of Youth somewhere in the neighborhood but I can't find it. Has anyone found it yet? Could you give a little hint or something? (You don't have to tell me exactly where it is but a guided hint would be great :-D)

Nope, since all codes are different and work for the specific person who purchases the specific game, there is no working registration code for you; contact the EA service about this situation if you can't activate the game...
