Sims 3 Pets Macbook Air - Not Loading

Would Sims 4 slow down my MacBook?

So I got my new MacBook Air, I downloaded everything I need for school but I was looking for something to pass the time. I heard that Sims 4 was out so I decided to get it. Before I buy and download it, would it slow anything down on my new computer or put anything on it that is bad for the computer or could slow it down?

Macbook air 128GB enough?

Go with the Macbook Pro so that you can have a disk slot and other features.. The air might be more convenient to carry, but the pro will probably be better in the long run..

As for gigs, you may want some more if you know you will have lots of music, pictures and some games on there. I have used 101 gigs and have about 149 left. I have about 150 songs, a load of documents (from essays and such), and have like 9,000 pictures. I also have the Sims 3 installed which takes up space as well... And I also have a whole bunch of other random things..

Spend more on a quality computer now and you won have to in the future. I love my Macbook Pro (15 in). Ive had it for just over a year and a half now.

Will sims 4 run on my Macbook?

From http://www.simcity.com/en_US/system-requ...

Minimum requirements
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
Operating System: OS X 10.7.5 (Intel HD Graphics 3000 users require 10.8.4 or later)
RAM: 2GB
Graphics: INTEL HD 3000, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M, or ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro or better

Your system is fine for Sims 4. It is not the level of hardware for more demanding action games. For that you should buy the 15-inch with discrete graphics.

Will my Macbook Air mid 2011 run Sims 3??? and can I just buy Sims 3 without 1 or 2?

I was wondering if my macbook will run Sims 3?
Macbook Air Mid-2011 July, 13 inch.
It has OS X Version 10.8.2
1.7GHz Intel Core i5
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384MB
Also, I need to know if I have to buy 1 & 2, or if I can just buy 3?
Thanks, and I know you shouldn't play games on a MBA, but I wanna see if I do well at the Sims 3. I see people on the internet playing it on their Macbook, and I just want to see if mine will run it; and it looks amazingly fun.

How do I download the Sims 3 safely on my Mac Air?

Safely? You connect to EA's version of Steam, which you can get at origin.com. Then you buy it - it's perfectly safe and you'll be able to download it right from there. Alternatively you could connect to Steam and buy it straight from there (chances are you could find it on sale there more often than Origin, too).Anything else and you're treading into a minefield of malware, not to mention you're stealing the game.

Should I get 16GB of ram on a MacBook or is the standard 8GB enough?

Depends on the type of work you do and for what purpose you are going to use your MacBook for…8GB is should be more than enough for most of your daily use (like surfing, mailing, music, videos, developer tools if you are a developer or if you are a photographer or movie maker then for your editing tools). However, one should know that RAM has no direct relation with speed. The fact is, the more RAM you have the more apps you can use in background because every application need to load certain files in the RAM to save your running application’s state. When the system has more applications running than the RAM can handle then the system tends to lag, that’s when your system feels slow.Nowadays, all the applications are memory intensive (eats a lot of RAM) and one of the best example is Google Chrome. Trust me Chrome eats a lot of your RAM.So 8GB or 16GB? The answer to this question is 16GB of RAM in not a necessity in most of the cases, it’s an option and it will cost you a fortune. If you can manage your machines user initiated background tasks and Apps then 8GB is enough. You can keep more than enough Applications running in 8GB of RAM. Also, there are these memory cleaner Apps available for free if you ever run out of Memory.Guess my answer will help you in deciding which option you want to opt for.Good Luck,
