Skin Care Jobs In S.korea

Skin care jobs in S.Korea?

I want to work ín the skin care industry and I would like to work in S.Korea because their skin care is really good and they are so far in the future when it comes to skin care and makeup so I would like to study and work there.

Does anyone know any universities in S.korea where I can study either to become a esthetician, paramedical esthetician or anything else in the skin care/makeup industry? And what are the requirements to study there? ^_^

I understand that I will probably need to learn Korean in order to become that but can take courses when I'm there and I'm only in high school so I a few years left .

Korean makeup / skin care online ?!?

hello alex!
on ebay you can find a lot of genuine korean skin care products. always try to look for those rated as "top rated seller" preferably from south korea (not trying to discredit chinese seller, but some of them do sell fake items). also koreans are more likely to send you some samples!
http://sasa.com is a chinese online store but they sell authentic korean products (as well as chinese, japanese, european, american...) every now and then they offer free international shipping, which is a plus! :)
another company similar to sasa is http://www.cosme-de.com
http://www.liliesshop.net/m is a canadian based company, that mainly sell lioele makeup
you can also check the "korean ebay" http://english.gmarket.co.kr/

I am writing a book about Korean skin care. I am obviously talking about South Korea, but I don't know if I should refer to it as just Korea?

Stick with South Korea. I personally would not credit North Korea with anything good and healthy. The political regime is scary. the people are oppressed and starving. They just launched their 5th nuclear weapon and they like to do that every time China is at the table with the USA (concerning trade agreements) to intimidate China. Trust me, skin care in correlation to north Korea feels like you are trying to sell me lotion made out of animal fat from cows that died from nuclear skin exposure.

Does the Korean 10-step skin care routine really work or help?

Sorry for being skeptical and a bit demotivational but every time I see those multi-step routines, I can’t stop thinking about the marketing idea behind them:Don’t try to escape with buying a single product - you’ll need all 10 (which will cost 10 x more in) order to finally improve your skin!In my opinion, the skin does not require that much investment. You don’t need to spend almost an hour a day, every single day to have beautiful and youthful skin. I actually consider such routines harmful - most of them suggest exfoliating the super-soft-and-irritation-prone facial skin on a daily basis.Which is insane - even those dead skin cells and pollutants, constantly accumulating on the skin surface have their own roles to protect the fragile skin layer underneath them. For instance, I only use one product. It is not even a skin care formula, I use pure natural honey, for about 10 years now. It’s cheap, simple, and effective.I started using it when I was 16 - a friend of mine told me that it may help me reduce my acne, and it did. It literally helped me eliminate it - I only got 1–2 pimples just before my period starts. This ‘positive effect’ happened in no longer than 3 months. But I continued using honey (I applied a small amount on my face just before bedtime and washed it off in the morning, at least two times a week). After 6–7 months my acne scars started fading, as honey has a strong antioxidant effect on the skin + it promotes its regeneration. I didn’t expect that but it was like a bonus surprise for my efforts. Now when I’m 27 I no longer have problematic skin but I do perform my super simple treatment from time to time. The thing is that honey makes the skin youthful and radiant. It keeps it well hydrated and clean (there will be no dead skin cells or dirt) - all the targets of the Korean skincare routines…You can see the detailed answer about my pure natural honey routine here: Monika Hristova's answer to What are your daily skin treatments? No offense but I don’t think that applying 10+skincare products, some of which containing chemically-derived ingredients, on a daily basis can be good for anybody.Hope you don’t spend your savings on cosmetics, hope I was of some help and thanks for reading my answer!

Skin Whitening Pills in South Korea?

Looks like someone wants to be white. No they're not expensive, you don't need a prescription and you can get them at Wal-Mart / Sears, do they have those there? lol. You can also just get a wash that has Salicylic Acid, SA is a Alpha-hydroxy acid that can be used to get rid of acne scars.
