Wanted to know about some good workout for "skinny abs".

I'm thirteen,1,75 meters (around five feet eight inches) and weigh fifty-six kilograms (about 123 pounds).

Diet and workout for skinny guy?

You dont necessarily need to eat that many meals a day. A guy named Ori Hefmekler(i think its something like that) advocates in his warrior diet one meal in the evening. Sounds a little crazy to me but I guess it might work.
Some sites will tell you if you dont eat every three hours that the body will go into a catabolic state.
Some people will tell you eating every 3 hours will keep insulin elevated and make you fat, or skinny.
I think the main thing is finding what works for you.
Try staying to one diet plan strictly for 3 weeks.I think you may find that its pretty hard to stick to a diet.
If you want to put on size then minimally you need a pullup bar and Id say two 40lb dumbells.
Eventually you would adapt to these implements though so itd be important to change things up once in a while. Some guys say it takes a week to adapt,some say it takes 4 weeks or longer.

I am "skinny fat". Should I do the Insanity workout?

I am what they call 'skinny fat'. I am underweight, but I have a flabby stomach. I am 5'4'' and around 95 lbs. I want to lose fat and build muscle (so I can be at a normal weight) at the same time. Will this program help me? I want to be slim, but fit and toned. I don't have any gym equipment at home and my parents don't want me to go to the gym because they think I'm just going to lose more weight there.

You are probably not getting exercise, that is giving you your skinny fat appearance. The best thing to fix this is by getting some calisthenic exercises in your workout routine; push ups, sit ups, crunches. Also cardio is great for helping you tone up, don't listen to mr anti cardio body builder there, their goal is to bulk and look like Lou Ferrigno, which actually only gives you big but bland muscles, these guys only look toned because they use oil and stuff. A slender muscular body is what you need for looking toned. Even most bodybuilders can attest that cardio is important in looking toned, that is why these guys go through cutting phases. The anti cardio bodybuilders look gross (biker look) and have no definition. A good mix of cardio, calisthenics, and low weight strength training gives you that toned look you are looking for.

Why am I skinny but still have belly fat?

Skinny fat woman with scoliosis... Out of these 2 workout videos, which would be better for a beginner with scoliosis?

I'm 26, and by ''skinny fat'', I mean I'm skinny, but I have NO muscle and I'm all flabby. I have pretty much no butt and my stomach sticks out to where it looks like I'm 2 or 3 months pregnant. I really want to fix this and have a strong, sexy curvy body like the women in the videos I'm about to post... Of course, I know I probably won't have the same exact shape as them, because everybody's different... Anyway...

If I do video 1, I'll be doing it at my home and I'd start out with no weight until I get used to the movements. If I do video 2, again, I'll do it with no weights and then progress to using weights while doing the movements. The only problem with this one is, it's hard for me to do any type of plank, because they hurt my lower back. IDK if I'm just not doing them right or if my scoliosis is getting in the way.

Which video should I do as a beginner? Again, my goal is to get rid of the skinny fat look, build muscle, grow a butt, and get a flat stomach.

Lost a lot of weight, now I'm skinny-fat?

6'3'' and 185 lbs?!? That's good. Going by that alone, I'd say you were skinny! But.. you say you still have a little weight to lose in the middle. Okay..

Hmm... I found that using an elliptical machine was the best way (for me) to lose weight/fat around the midsection- 20 minutes, 3 times a week.

But I don't just... robotically (not a word) use it. I try different positions, like... swinging your hips or... I don't know how to explain it. LOL I just... move around the machine- most of the time not even using the handle bars- BALANCING WORKS!!!! It helps if you're listening to music with a good beat.... even when you look like a retard doing it.

Okay... you know how Conan O'Brien does the puppet dance? Um... try mimicking that when you're on the elliptical. LOL Just raise your hips as high as you can- like dancing, I guess. Okay... this sounds stupid. (considering deleting it).

How should I get lean (and get abs) when I'm skinny-fat and underweight?

I understand where you are coming from. When I first started working out I was told that I needed to eat a lot more, but like you I didn't want to get fat because I wanted abs so freaking bad. It was so hard to understand the concept at first, but it's very simple actually.So from what you are saying, you have no muscle mass and you are already thin, but want your abs to show. Ok, did I get that right? I think so! Just a little knowledge you need to know before we go on. Are you ready? Ok, for your body to gain muscle mass you need to feed it accordingly.If you keep feeding your body the same amount of food you are eating right now, where is your body going to get the mass from? It's like this, if you want to build a 2 bedroom house and you only have enough material to build a 1 bedroom home, it doesn't matter how hard you work in that house, you will never get that extra bedroom. The only way to make the house bigger is by adding more building material. Well, your body works the same way.If you have no muscle to start with and you want to add a little abs muscle you can't do it eating the same amount of food or less. So this is the reason why you need to eat more. The key to this is what you eat. Start adding more protein to your daily calorie intake, eat a little more carbs. Hit the gym and focus on the muscle you want to grow. If you see yourself gaining more fat than what you want, then do a little extra cardio to keep it under control.Most people that are into bodybuilding usually do a bulking face and then cut down to show the goods. This means that you might not be able to see your abs during your bulking face, but if you workout hard during that time, I can assure you, that when you cut down you will see your abs or whatever muscle you are working on, on a consistent basis.
