What's the best way to max smithing early in Skyrim?

I wouldn’t really recommend maxing a non-combat skill early. Many enemies in Skyrim are leveled (to some extent), and it could cause the game to become difficult since your power has not really grown with them.If I recall correctly, the amount of training you gain from crafting something is proportional to the value of the item you create (I believe the behavior was changed to this in one of the patches) EDIT: See comments. This means it’s not really feasible to craft only iron daggers. The fastest and most economical way is probably to craft the most expensive item you can which uses the cheapest materials. This means you should stay at the highest material level possible at all times. You should also improve the item before selling it.If you want to maximize your training you should also sleep in an owned bed and have the correct sign (warrior? I can’t recall) before starting. It’s generally a good idea to train alchemy, smithing and enchanting at the same time, to gain some sweet synergies.Use alchemy to create potions with fortify smithing and fortify enchanting (different potions). Use the smithing potions when improving items to make them as powerful (and thus valuable) as possible. Use the enchanting potions to make better fortify smithing and fortify alchemy- enchanted armor and rings that you use when making potions and improving items (and in general improve the value of the enchanted items). To maximize profits you should create different types of enchantments and items, since they go down in sell value if you sell too many of the same type.Once you get alchemy rolling you won’t even be able to offload all the valuable potions because vendors will run out of money :/

What is the weirdest thing that has happened to you in Skyrim?

Too many to remember. Most of them are because of glitches or bugs. Let’s start:Once I was killed by a cute mammoth, who felt from the sky right on my mortal and weak body. It was my first game and I was so shocked that I was not sure if I wanted to keep playing, yet I persisted. Another time I died by slipping on some bones. There were times that I died because a random goat or my dear horse pushed me from a cliff. Once an arrow, that I lovingly tried to shoot at a target, “boomeranged” and almost killed me.Logrolf, the guy from the quest “House of Horrors” refused to succumb to me and so I had to leave him there, sitting in a cage. It was quite weird, here my character was, beating the guy and then after 20 minutes got tired and just left. Now I have a new respect for the guy. Strong and unbreakable spirit. Yet I cannot live in this house even if I paid for it. His yelling bothers me quite a lot. Thanks to the Hearthfire DLC I got a family. I built a house. I spent all my money on it. Adopted some kids. And then my children decided that a bloody rat is the best pet. And not a simple rat, but a rat that hates my guts and attacks me on sight. I tried to kill it, but I cannot. As a result, I am homeless, haven’t seen my family for months and strongly hate rats.A dead dragon was following me across all Skyrim. Quite the sight. Thanks to this unasked follower, I could not use stealth and everyone could see me.Once or twice I died because of the Ice Form shout. The force of the shout hit me and I flew away at least 50 km.I like to trap my followers in the dungeons (yes, i am awful). Once I forgot that I did that, continued with my life, kept doing quests, bought property, married, had kids, etc. Suddenly, as I was doing the Azura quest, a male voice whispered: “Be careful”. After my breath exercise and a cup of tea, warming my frozen from fear and shock soul, I discovered that this was Vorstag. After something like 50 quests he finally freed himself from the dungeon and materialized next to me.My courier once reached me when I was underwater. I was trying to open a chest and he started talking to me. At the same time, I was being attacked by a nice killer fish. So here I am, being torn in small confetti by a fish, he is swimming with my letters next to me, I am there blocked without the possibility to fight back. Had to swim back to the shores. The funniest thing though was when a dragon attacked a group of walruses. He lost.

What is the difference between Skyrim and Skyrim special edition?

The two versions are almost the same. They are the same game; there is no new content. There are three definite differences I can think of. A fourth, while possible, also may not be true: a few bugs/glitches patched.1: Skyrim Special Edition is on playstation 4, xbox one, and pc, whereas Skyrim is on playstation 3, xbox 360, and pc.(I played Skyrim when it first came out for ps3 and the console [which had better hardware than the xbox 360] could barely handle the game. {Near the end of a playthrough, if I looked at a certain zone the game crashed.})2: Skyrim Special Edition has better graphics than Skyrim, unless you are on a pc and mod plain ol’ Skyrim.3: Skyrim Special Edition has the “Creation Club” aka paid “mini DLC” (pay $5 or so [don’t hold me to it] for a couple new outfits).

How many hours does it take to complete the entire game of Skyrim?

Aww dude, get comfortable. The ENTIRE game? The 2 story line missions can be done in a day or two (less if you know the tricks, as it's a very glitchy game)at the VERY MOST. They're pretty straightforward (and bland, IMO), but that's not what we're talking about. The little sidequests are continuous, and never end, so you never "run out of missions". I can tell you that the PC version has way more staying power than the console version. I have the console version and I still don't have the trophy for getting to level 50 because I get so bored with the game. The first time I played, I probably spent a good month playing it, so taking in I did other stuff, about 600 hrs. Since then, I've spent even more, TRYING to get that trophy, and Its great to play when you're tired, and not up for intense combat. That is on and off throughout the year and a half I've had the game. So do with that, what you will. I'm sure with all the modding and changing up you can do in the PC version, you could spend even more time than I have on it. But it never ends, so it's never truly complete

Who is your favorite follower in Skyrim?

Well, of course it was Serana. She is often marked as the only follower with “a soul”. I can confirm. While of course her dialogue gets repetitive, I always felt comfortable next to her. It didn’t feel like you need her, it felt like she needs you.She made me roleplay hard.Eventually, our relationship got complicated, I forced her to get cured of vampirism but then I decided to become a vampire myself. I left her behind, and after I finally got cured, too, I found a new follower, one that felt more loyal. It was Ingjard. And hell, was she badaß. I really liked her. She wears heavy armor, uses two-handed weapons and is usually pretty sassy. Her top level is also very high, so she is overall a good follower. We had tons of fun together. But she got annoying as well. When I decided to travel to Solstheim, I offered her to become a steward of Heljarchen Hall, my favourite place to stay in all of Skyrim. She gladly accepted. And I ventured onto the island. Alone.Until I met this fella:Teldryn Sero, the most badaß, sassy and harsh dark elf out there. The community seems to like him as well.I loved the fact that he didn’t care for me that much and didn’t act sad when I told him to f*** off. And I did that quite often. There were times when I just didn’t feel like listening to his unending harsh remarks, when I just wanted to travel alone, but other times, I knew I needed company, and he was always the one. It just felt right to employ him and not some random dude who offered me his service just because I retrieved his stolen sweetroll.I love people like him. People who are honest and don’t stick their noses into matters that don’t concern them.Obviously I didn’t build a relationship with him. That’s why I didn’t feel bad when I left him on Solstheim after finishing the Dragonborn DLC. I sailed back home, defeated the Ebony Warrior, and that was where my journey ended. Did my Dragonborn marry Ingjard, Serana, or perharps Sapphire? Did he travel south, towards new adventures? Or did he commit suicide because there was nothing left to do? I don’t know. I left him staring towards the skies of Skyrim, with the corpse of the toughest enemy behind him. That was the ending I liked.

I’m playing Skyrim and finding dead dragons with their skin intact after almost every boss battle as soon as I step outside, is my game corrupted? Side note: Skyrim Legendary (Special?) Edition Xbox 360 (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn)

It's not corrupted, but there may be a mod conflict somewhere. I play Oldrim on PC, so your milage may vary. Dragons are succeptable to several glitches right out of the box. As long as they die and you get thier soul, ignore the giant corpses falling from the sky.Amusing side note, at one point in my game the dragon Alduin brings to life outside Kynesgrove would claw his way out of the grave as a skeleton, and regain his flesh after I killed him. Again, some mod conflict. Every so often I prune my bloated load order; some glitches go away, but invariably new ones pop up. Always an adventure, Skyrim.Note that Legendary Edition is 32-bit original Skyrim with all the DLCs included. Oldrim, it's often called. Special Edition is the more recent 64-bit release, folks referr to it as SE.

What is the most unethical decision you have ever done freely in a video game?

Well there’s a certain video game series that is infamous for how it brings our the unethical side of its players. This video game series is of course The Sims.Just a bit of background, I love the sims series and have been playing it for years. So I had some friends in the street where I lived who after a while of elaborately planning our dream house together suggested that we go onto my computer and onto the sims to build it. So we spent an hour or two creating a big three story block house with a floor for each of us and our sims, looking back that house was really badly designed and ugly as hell but we loved it.So we played it together for a few weeks but eventually we stopped using it together, but I still played it alone. So I wanted to start a family but the household limit had already been met so I decided to start a fire and lock all of their sims in a room to let them burn alive. Then being a child, I felt bad. So I threw a funeral for their sims and I should mention, my sim was best friends with two of the sims who burnt in that room so she was upset and mourned for a week.My friends then randomly decided to play that file again so I lied and said that their sims had burnt in a cooking fire while my sim was out giving her daughter a driving lesson. Wow young Ella, you were a dickhead in real life as well! *claps*
