Skype Noise When I Plug The Charger

Why do some mobile wall chargers make buzzing noise and over heats when battery charge is below 80%? Is it safe ? (After 85 the noise goes down)

When the percentage of battery of phone is low, it takes up greater amount of current through the charger. There is a mini transformer that operates at high frequency (much greater than 50hz)  inside the charger. The current is always passing through the transformer. While passing current a transformer vibrates due to the rapid change in magnetic field. You can hear humming noise in roadside transformers. Similarly in charger buzzing noise is produced as it is very small and also high frequency making the sound more shrill. Now above 85% charge, amount of current drawn decreases and less load is applied on the transformer thus decreasing the noise to a point where it goes unnoticed Hope this helps

Why do some phone chargers make weird buzzing noises?

Mostly it is because of electricity running through it and it’s wire coils in it’s step down transformers and rectifiers . All electronics make noise just most don’t make them loud enough to hear with an unaided ear . Sometimes it is because of the wavelength they produce sound at . They do make noise none the less . The chargers that do make noise if normal may not have anything to deaden the sound radiating from them and sometimes if not normal it is because of electrical leakage shorting to ground . If a otherwise quiet charger starts to make a sounds then discharge the charger as it may be shorting inside and possibly cause a fire .

My laptop charger causes noise in my speakers/headphones and microphone, What's wrong?

Another possibility is that the filter capacitor has gone bad. If you can open the power supply without breaking it, then you might try replacing the capacitor.DANGER: Short the leads to discharge the capacitor before touching it. If you don't understand what I am saying, then you should not open to case yourself; take it to a qualified technician. Or replace the whole power supply. They're not expensive.

What makes my charger cable hum/“whine” when my phone is not plugged in, but the wall adapter is? Why do some chargers do this, but others do not?

If the charger is low in weight, the hum comes from its intermittent operation when the phone is not plugged in, also called burst mode. Indeed the “flyback” switch-mode power supply cannot operate constantly when there is no load to discharge the energy stored in its output capacitor, because then its voltage keeps rising to the point its regulator says “enough” and temporarily blocks the operation of the switching regulator until the output voltage goes back to below the regulation threshold. This answer is highly technical but an analogy is your central heater or refrigerator also operates for a period and stop then on again, etc…

Why does my charger make buzzing sounds?

Mikhail Rozhkov is probably right on the source of your buzzing. I just want to offer a simpler explanation:The voltage at the wall is very high. The electronics in your charger need lower the voltage to protect the phone and people using it.The best strategy for doing this is a transformer. It uses magnetism, which is confined inside a part called a transformer. The advantage is that while “work” can be carried across the transformer, the high voltage is nicely isolated to the high voltage side of the transformer. In order to transfer the “work,” the magnetic field has to be constantly moving. Because of the metal and magnetic parts (mostly the source of the magnetism itself), things tend to get attracted and repelled in this pattern. This shakes the parts a tiny bit - enough to make the noise.Sometimes, the magnetic shaking pattern becomes unstable if a part is broken, so it can get louder. For the most part though, as long as the charger isn’t getting very hot, it is normal.

How do I play music through Skype?

Assuming a Windows environment, you'll first need to Enable “Stereo Mix” in Windows. Once you've done that, go to the Skype audio settings (Tools / Options), and set the Microphone to be Stereo Mix.Then, call up the other Skype party and start the music playing on the local PC. The other end of the Skype call will hear the music down the line.

My phone sometimes gets hot while charging and sometimes not. Why does that happen?

Your phone will always have a temperature rise while charging but sometimes it gets relatively hotter. The factors generally affecting this could be ;Background apps(more the number, more the heat)Wifi and mobile data( keeping them on makes the phone hotter)Location services being onPoor network signalNow if all the above cases are negative and still you find a disparity, this could be because of the following reasons ;The temperature of the surroundingAir flow and ventilation at the place your phone rests while chargingThe protective case being put onThe position in which you rest your phone( yeah, it makes a difference!!) resting your phones battery side up and screen side down heats up your phone a bit less as when done vice versa. And finally this could be the defect of your phone’s firmware, battery or due to the dust and moisture inside your phone. And if the problem persists and the screen is also getting hot, you should take it to a nearby service centre.

Why is my laptop frozen and making this buzzing noise?

Fix it by:

-- cleaning system junk
-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some powerful tool such as intel software partner Reginout
