Skyrim Carry Weight Help

Skyrim Carry Weight Bugged? (Xbox 360)?

I'm currently playing Skyrim on my Xbox 360 and I'm level 147. My stamina's very high -- 820 -- so my carry weight is, or should be, 854 with my current account build.

While about to reset my Hearthfire DLC to rebuild some houses, I equipped a ring I had made with a glitched increased Carry Weight of a few thousand to be able to "run" normally while holding absolutely everything. After resetting the DLC, I built a house and an Armory Wing just enough to drop everything in chests. I took my ring off and my Carry Weight went from my current 854 without the ring to 300. I'm not sure what made this occur. Maybe having the ring equipped before/after resetting the DLC? All saves before resetting the DLC have their Carry Weight still at 854, so my theory of the ring being equipped is what made it happen.

Bad thing is, my last save before resetting has a lot of progress need catching up, so how can I get my Carry Weight back to what it should be?

Skyrim Carry Weight Mod?

Hello, I have been modding Skyrim recently, and it's been bugging how you can carry so many things when your character is in rags or is naked.

You should only be able to store as much as your clothes allow. If you're in Thieve Guild clothing with tons of straps and satchels, you should be able to store many items.

Please don't recommend the "Realistic Carry Weight" mod because all it does is lower your carry weight.

Thank you

In Skyrim, any follower can carry a weight of 300?

Yes. There is a trick for it. First find an empty treasure box and dump all the things you want your followers to carry. Then talk to your follower and choose the option “I want you to do something”. Then point to the treasure box and choose “take it” and s/he will take everything inside. However, the problem here is that majority of the item carried this way will be labelled Stolen” which makes it hard for you to sell.

My carryweight negative in skyrim?

U can issue the "modav carryweight" command and use a negative number.

But if your carryweight is now -3000 and u want your carryweight to be 300, just issue the command and use 3300 as the amount.

I forget how base carryweight is calculated. And I can't look it up right now. So if u want to revert your character to the absolute exact correct setting, u will have to hunt around for the formula.

Where can I find increase carry weight items in Skyrim so I can then disenchant them (Xbox 360)?

I need to disenchant an item that has increase carry weight on it so I then enchant a ring to have the carry weight effect. An item I mean like a necklace or boots etc etc And the

Used the steed stone. Add 100 more carry weight. And deadric shrine Mehrunes Dagon you will encounter 4 deadra's, all of which will have a heart and usually some decent loot. This place usually respawn a so it's a good place to get more hearts.

What is the point of increased carry weight as a werewolf in Skyrim? ?

I just started playing Skyrim recently and became a werewolf today. I know most of the pros and cons like increased stamina, health, etc but I'm a little confused about the increase in carry weight. What is the point of your carry weight being increased so significantly if you cannot loot, open chests, or pick up any items while in werewolf form? Am I missing something? Could someone explain please?

What is the most important item to carry with you in Skyrim?

I don’t know if it’s the most important(certainly not very important for pure mages who shun real armor for robes and physical weapons for magic). However, a great many character types can benefit from carrying a pickaxe. You never know when you may come across an ore vein you want to mine(or maybe you do and are headed to a mine for that express purpose). I’m partial to one pickaxe in particular. You can pick up a task from Glover Mallory in Raven Rock to retrieve his ancient nord pickaxe from Crescius Carellius. Crescius gives it up without much prompting, but then you should just keep it. If you try to return it to Glover, he will just tell you to keep it. By keeping it in the first place, it remains a weightless quest item in your inventory. Otherwise, it weighs 10 carry weight.Edit: I forgot about this and meant to include it. Thanks Anastasia Petrova in the comments section for reminding me. I you want any hope of mining sample of Stalhrim out of Stalhrim deposits, you will need an ancient nord pickaxe. A regular pickaxe just won’t cut it(see what I did, there?).Edit:There is one more item I would like to add. I made a comment on another answer about cure disease potions. While I usually carry a few, those are the ones you can find or buy in game(not lower value custom ones) in case I encounter a hunter bitten by a vampire. I can sell one for 100 septims versus the 80 or so they are worth(they won’t take a custom potion). I carry a supply of Hawk Feathers if I need to cure a disease(I spend most of the game as a werewolf, but it is still possible to catch diseases from traps). The first effect of Hawk Feather is Cure Disease and being an all or nothing type of effect, eating one will cure you. The best part is it weighs 0.1 versus 0.5 for potions. You can get some easy by zapping the Hawks flying around solitude with a spell such as Lightning Bolt or Thunderbolt. There is also a Hawk over Lakeview Manor that respawns in time.
