What is the worst thing about camping?

5 Reasons Why Camping Is The Worst1. Sleeping In A TentThe roof is not real. I hope you packed the rain guard/shield thing.2. Sleeping On The Ground/Air MattressI could literally feel the ridges in the dirt when I was a kid. waking up in the morning was literally awful because my back and side were sore from trying to get comfortable. When I got older, I used an air mattress, and it was not super great trying to maneuver one of those if they start to lose some of their air during the night.3. May Or May Not Be A Real BathroomCould I use the bathroom outside if I had no other choice? Yes. Do I want to? Absolutely NOT. There's a higher chance of there being a bathroom if you go camping at a campground or at someone's up north cottage, but there are still those moments where you may not have one. No thank you.4. May Or May Not Be A Real ShowerI am literally the grouchiest person I know when I wake up. Coffee is definitely a must, but my morning shower is the one thing that gets me up and running for the day. If there is not a shower option, I will not be going.5. Fire SmellWhat I mean by fire smell is smoke. I love the way fire dances, the way he moves and gracefully entices, but gawd does he leave his mark. I am always left smelling like an ashtray. I do not like the smell of smoke in my hair or in my clothes, so it's best if I just didn't.Get Your Camping T shirt

My husband does not want to sleep with me or next to me anymore. We have been married for two years and we have two sons. What should I do?

You need to communicate with him. You've said that every time you've tried he doesn't get it, or he doesn't care. I'm not quite sure what you mean by he doesn't get it. "I'm really lonely without you and it makes me feel really undesirable when you don't even want to sleep next to me anymore. I feel like you think there's something wrong with me and I don't know what to do. I just really miss you, and I don't feel loved and happy anymore." If you stated it like this, I'm not sure how he couldn't understand. You outlined how you feel, why you feel this way and how badly it's affecting you. If he doesn't understand, it's because he's not listening.Or you said he doesn't care. Now this is a huge issue. If he knows that you are unhappy in your marriage, and he doesn't care, this is a major red flag. And if you haven't stated this yet, then I would. Be clear with how you're feeling. "I do not feel loved or happy anymore'. If this doesn't bother him, then he has shown a very huge lack of care towards you and your feelings. There's no excuse for him to let you feel this way. So TALK to him. Don't approach him when he's busy, try and convince him to stay with you when he's tired, find a good time, sit down and communicate. And make sure he communicates with you too. And if he doesn't, suggest therapy. Also, try and bring some romance into your relationship. I see so many people saying they want certain things out of their relationships, and yet they do nothing to provide it themselves. Find a night and just go out to dinner together, somewhere special to you, like where you went on your first date or a really romantic restaurant. When he's had a hard day, give him a back massage, make him his favorite meal, do something to show him that you're being considerate of his feelings. Have a spontaneous movie night. These things are hard when you have kids, yes, but if you won't find the time to do them then he shouldn't either. As for him being gay? No one can tell you that but him. I'm not sure asking him outright would be my first inclination but rather a last ditch effort after I've tried everything else.

Am I qualified for Northwestern University?

Northwestern is a very selective school. If it's your top choice, you should consider applying early as the chances of being admitted under the Early Decision option are much greater (deadline usually by November 1st of your senior year). You should aim to score a MINIMUM of 33 on your ACT or 2150 on the SAT.

Also, they will want to know how you spent your summer vacations. So this summer try to enroll in some interesting program whether it's a sleep-away education enrichment type camp or some cool projects or activities that you can do in your local area. Just search online for these kind of programs for the summer, as they can really help strengthen your application, especially if what you did had something involved with medicine or science.

You should actually see if Northwestern has summer programs specifically designed for high school students. Most top-tier colleges have some sort of enrichment type courses/programs you can enroll in over the summer while living in the dorms or commute to depending on the school, and they are made specifically for high school students.

If you do a summer program, and you apply early by November of your senior year, and you score well on your SAT or ACT and SAT II subject tests (Chemistry, Math, Biology, etc if you are pre-med), you will almost be guaranteed a shot at Northwestern. I knew people who did these programs at Columbia and NYU when they were in high school, and once they were seniors they applied under Early Decision and were accepted (granted they also had great GPAs, SAT scores, and extracurricular activities).
