Small Bumps Itching On Fingers

What are these tiny itchy bumps on my fingers?

i've had it too!

it's a kind of eczema called Pompholyx, "dyshidrotic dermatitis" or dyshidrotic eczema".

it's aggravated by:

hot humid weather
stress
other infections in the body (such as athlete's foot, yeast infection or other fungal infection)

people with hayfever, asthma and other environmental allergies are more prone.

women are slightly more prone than men, but i know at least one guy who gets it too.

i was told by a dermatologist years ago that it's supposedly hereditary! but neither of my parents ever complained of it...

i was given a hydrocortizone cream to put on it for rellief, but being an avoider of most over the counter meds and prescriptions i've found great temporary relief by submerging my hands into cold water.

even still, it does seem to want to run its course. sometimes the skin in the area where the bumps first occur gets kind of tough and hard. it does go away though.

so itchy! i hope you find relief soon :)

What could cause small bumps on my fingers?

Are you asking about the ones on the inside or the out side or sides???The ones that pop up on the inside of the hand are usually a node on the nerve and they are called Trigger Fingers. they can pull the nerve and trap the finger to the palm of the hand. Very easy to treat. If they are on the side or front it could be warts. Could be anything, when you cannot see them.I can only guess as I cannot see what you have, so my good advice would be to see a doctor who can look at them and see what they are precisely

White bumps on fingers..itchy?

warts maybe? But if they suddenly appeared consider poison ivy, dematitis or maybe a fungus.

Either way, hear is the treatments:
for poison ivy...don't touch anything and it will clear up within a week.
for fungus---use athletes foot creme on the site for about a week (once daily)
for dematitis--- try cortisone creme for a week, twice a day.

Either way, most likely it is nothing serious. If it is a wart...just use wart remover. But do this option last as it will take the longest to go away.

Small uncolored bumps on my finger that do not itch?

It could be dyshidrosis. Here's the wikipedia entry on it, but keep in mind that some of the pictures are EXTREME cases of it:

I get it sometimes and mine looks much more like the picture of the finger (middle left) or the bottom right on this site:

It's on the sides of my fingers, and I can pop the bubbles and there is a bit of clear liquid inside. It's not contagious and not really harmful, and it can be caused by many things, but pretty much it's a sign that your skin on your hands is irritated, so be nice to them! I like to use Aveeno lotion, and I think it might help a little bit.

What is causing itchy bumps on the bottom of my fingers and hand?

It's due to some fungal infection(scabies). It has been caused due to either the prolong exposure of your hand to moisture or your hand has been touched(or pressed hard) by some metal oxides(mostly from steel, iron)Remedy:Try to keep your hands as dry as possible. Avoid moisturisers for some time(maybe weeks).Do not scratch them(scratching can make things worse)Apply coconut oil on the infected area and leave it for 10 min and rub it with a towel/cloth to make it dry.Apply any ‘permethrine cream' on the infected zone before going to bed.Treatment can take more than a week to cure the infection. If the proper care is not taken then there are more chances of re occuring of infection.

How can you prevent getting itchy bumps between your fingers?

Are you or have you been wearing a ring? This happens sometimes if you're allergic, even if the ring isn't costume jewellery. It could be an allergic reaction caused by one of the components of the ring or some sort of irritation from any buildup of soap and/or debris that may be under the ring.Contact dermatitis can be triggered by a lot of things, just be aware of the bumps and if they appear after certain things you do, this might help figure out what's causing the issue. It could be anything from hand creams, laundry detergent, soaps or even just a build up of sweats/oils from clammy hands. How to stop it: (providing the bumps are due to the reasons above)For contact dermatitis, figure out what it is that you're using or touching that is causing or aggravating the bumps and discontinue using it asap. When cleaning, washing up and doing laundry, wear gloves to avoid prolonged contact with chemicals and detergents. For costume jewellery, paint a layer or two of clear nail polish on the ring wherever it comes into contact with your skin. This will create a protective barrier between the ring and your finger. For precious metal, you could go to a jewellers and have them ‘dip’ the ring into another precious metal (essentially the same as clear nail polish for the cheap costume jewellery rings except, expensive but better for your ring)If in doubt, check with your doctor.
