Sment Trainees I Have A Few Questions Here Answer I Really Want To Become A Sment Trainee.

Whats the Best Korean Entertainment Industry?

I'm planning to go to Korea with on vacation and I really wanna audition for an Entertainment Industry but I don't know that many. All I know is SM, JYP, and YG, but is there any others? Plz list some other ones even if nobody knows about them. I wanna audition for a company thats best for me. I really want to be in a company that brings out the best in you and wants you to work hard. I'm planing to audition for dance and to be honest, my singing isn't that great. Does anybody know any company's that rather have better dancers? Can you also just be a backup dancer or do you have to be a trainee? I'm not really the type that wants to be famous but I'll be a trainee if they want me. lol :D

What does Sm Entertainment really look for?

hello!!! :) so here's some answer for your question. :]

1) i heard that sm entertainment look for fresh looks and no make-up., koreans consider beautiful if you have double eyelids, your eyes must not be small and pale skin. :]

2) they might send you to live audition if they we're interested., yup! they will handle all your expenses. :]

3) yup., i think so. but u should study Korean language more. that might be an advantage.

4) beauty and talent. but more on beauty., not wise. :]

5) oh!. were in the same age. I'm 14 also., i think 14 or 15 is not too late. u can audition right now. send in your audition vid here., http://www.audition.smtown.com. and they might be interested in you. but if you want to finish your high school., you can audition in around 16 years old. :]

i want to audition too. :] but i still want to improve my abilities on dancing and singing. :)
so good luck!! i might be your #1 .

Coming Kpop (sment) auditions in Washington DC 2013. needs some advice?

1. No. They sell whitening lotion in Korea and they'll probably have you use that. Look at Ailee, she use to be really tan as well.
2.They'll provide the music so work on your freestyling skills because you never know what they'll play.
3. Since you're still young they probably will.
4. That's what people say, but they tend to be anti-SM so ignore that.
5.Korea.
6. They pay which is why auditions are 100% free, but when you debut they'll subtract the traing fee from your payment, as do all companies.
7. Kind of. You sign a contract stating that you're under SM and it will say what your needs and demands are and thier needs and demands are.
8. You'll have to ask a trainee, but from what I've heard you'll have a schedule (much like a school schedule) that'll change daily. ex:Korean Language 3-4:45pm
9. They'll teach you Korean. It would be stupid to hold Global Auditions if they're only looking for people that speak Korean.
10.Yes! A Lot of people tend to forget that it's a professional audition and come dressed in all of their kpop gear, but that only weakens your chances of getting in.
11. You need to show your determination, and maybe show them Taemin and Key's audition videos and show them a SHINee music video to show where they are now.
12. It depends on how hard you work, and what school you'll be attending if you make it.
13. On average 3-7 years, but a member of EXO (I think it was Chanyeol), and IU (even though she's under Loen) only trained for 1 year.
14. I'm not sure. While you're a trainee you'll be a dancer in music videos, or star in music videos so that'll probably be your allowance.
15. How To Apply:http://www.smtown.com/link/audition

Extra: In Korea you age 1 year older

How do I audition online to be a K-pop trainee in one of the big three companies? Do I have a chance of getting into an online audition?

Do I have the chance? Well, everyone has a chance but is very very very VERY small. As the big three receive a lot of emails and requests of auditions it´s very rare for them to choose someone through email. As far as I know, there is still no kpop idols on the big three that became trainees directly through email auditions. And even if you do pass the online audition you will be required to attend to either a global or monthly/weekly audition. So it´s not only very difficult to pass but it also does not determine if you will become a trainee at the big three. In regards to the first question:For JYP.- Here is the link JYP Entertainment ::All you have to do is register, filling your information, create a username, password, etc. and after it send your audition by clicking over apply audition and fill the information once again (also don´t forget submitting a video of yourself showing your talent)More specific instructions are on the page. For YG.- http://www.yg-audition.com/next-...You have to download the file which is on the page, fill the information and, through email, attach a video of you showing your talent and send it to YG´s email : ygaudition@gmail.netFor SM.- SMTOWNThere´s two ways:EMAIL: Send them an email with a video of you showing your talent and photos. (The subject needs to be: name/ age/ gender/ category)ONLINE: Enter to the link over here:SMTOWNGo down and fill the form, upload a picture/video of yourself where it says “attach file”, click agree on the privacy agreement, after, click on submit and you are done!Good luck :)

How to audition for SM entertainment?

Ok I'm gonna answer your questions honestly
1) If you audition in Korea you'll have a better chance to make it, e-mail/global audition you have to be very talented to make it so its harder.
2)No but companies hardly ever accept anyone over 20 but you're only 16 so go for it. Trainees have been accepted at that age before but you should probably audition for a different company since SM wants young people
3)SM mainly takes people who are great dancers and even if you audition for singing you still have to do a rhythm test and dance. If you're a bad singer then they might train you in rapping more
If you're pretty then you have a better chance of making it since most companies take good looking people and train them. But if you have talent, you will be accepted also. Alot of people have been accepted because they were good lookin even though they couldn't sing or dance but they worked hard to learn those skills
4)You're kinda short but you'll probably have to wear heals. If you look at all the korean idols they're all tall
5)Go ahead and sing an English song, you're expected to sing a song you're good at. But prepare a korean song too and other song because if you're good they might ask for more and if you're someone they are interested in they'll contact you in a couple of month or weeks
6)They'll make you whiten your skin plus before groups debut they pick who needs to get plastic surgery and who doesn't. Korean groups are usually balanced with someone that is amazing at something like someone in the group is the best singer, or dancer, rapper, best lookin/personality, ect... and since you say you're average at pretty much everything you will have a low chance of being accepted.
7)First of all you have to be confident, why are you even gonna audition if you know you're not gonna make it? Be like this other trainee that disobeyed his parents and bought himself a ticket to Korean and audition and ended up making it
If you want to go to college then companies most likely pay for you and you can go to college but your chances of debuting is low because you basically train from 7am to 10pm unless you're willing to put in the extra work. If you do make it and want to go to college, do it after you debut which might take a couple of years depending on other factors.

Good luck!

SM Entertainment Audition ?

I've been thinking about auditioning for SM Entertainment over email, but i have a lot of questions:
1) I'm Pure Filipino. Is it bad that I'm not Korean or Chinese ? I know SM tends to accept all Chinese or Korean.
2)Will I have to attach videos of me dancing and singing? If I get accepted to a live audition, is it okay to do the same dance or song? Or can I Sing or Dance other language ?
3)What happens if you get accepted over email? Could you describe the audition process in DETAIL? (like how many rounds, what happens in each round. if it is with other people, what happens? do we all sing together? etc)
4) I'm 13. Is it Okay if I go to the audition?
5) I live in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. Would they pay for my flights to Manila or Korea?
6) Should I wear make-up? I want to show my natural beauty but at the same time, i only wear a thin line of eyeliner. Is that okay? Or should i don't put ?
7)Here;s a picture of me. I'm the one on the left. Do you think I meet the physical characteristics of a SM trainee?
https://twitter.com/asdfghjkwinnie/status/238980454001278976/photo/1
8) Does Sm actually accept through emails? Or do they normally pick people through live auditions?
9) Because I live in Cavite, where will i train if I do get in? in Manila? Korea?
10) If you do have to move to Korea, what if you dont know Korean? And will you still go to school?
11) If you auditon by email and you make it, do you instantly go to Korean for the second round?
12) If your a trainee do you get to see your family?
13) How much allowance do you get?
14) Do you get put on a strict diet and go under plastic surgey even at a young age?
15)Are the judges mean? Can you sing and dance another star's moves and song? And do you have to Acapella ?
16) Is it true you have to free style dance at the audtions?
17) And lastly what are my chances of getting in? And what do you have to include in your email for auditoning?

Im sorry there are so many questions! Please please answer? <3

Am I elgible to become KPOP Trainee?

Do you realize how much competition there is? None of you kids asking these questions will make it as a trainee. Can you really compete against someone like Hyuna or Victoria who danced since they were kids? You might believe that you have a potential but hardly any of you have an appeal to attract millions of people and that's the main requirement that you need. Post a video of yourself on youtube and see if you can get at least 10.000 views.
