Sms Issues With Globe Philippines

SMS Messaging from Globe in the Philippines?

I have asked yahoo mobile support this, but they seem to not understand my question. I have replied to an original message I was sent from them so hopefully the quality of their support improves. I normally send sms messages from Yahoo to the Philippines. I have been sending these messages for years. Recently I have not been receiving replies from the person I am sending messages to. This does happen, but it usually goes away after an hour and then the messages start flowing again. It has been several days now and I still have yet to receive a reply. My receiver now has to send messages directly to my phone which is not very cost effective considering international texting rates.

Here is what I have done to test the issue. I talked to another friend of mine in the Philippines, she has both a Globe phone and a Smart phone. I sent her a message via sms, first to her Smart phone and then had her reply. I received the reply in yahoo. I then sent a text message to her Globe phone and had her reply. I did not receive the text message. I logged in to another yahoo account I have and did the same thing, again I did not receive the reply from her Globe phone. I do not expect anyone to be able to fix this issue here, but what I would like to know is, has anyone else been having similar issues with Globe subscribers in the Philippines?

Note: Smart and Globe are two different wireless carriers in the Philippines for those that don't know.

Also I wanted to note, since then the person I send messages to has setup her yahoo to forward to her phone number (it says I'm on SMS next to her yahoo ID) she receives my messages, but again when she replies, I do not receive that reply.

Do you know globe telecoms(philippines) message centers?

That depends on what area you're from, maybe the Globe Tower in your area is busted or sumpn like that. Have you tried calling their customer service yet? I'm in Pasig Area, and my Globe's working perfectly fine. You can have your phone checked too at the nearest Globe center, maybe they can help iron out the kinks you're experiencing right now. Hope your network comes back soon, as it really sucks nowadays to loose touch specially if you're anticipating a very important call or text from whomever. Good luck though!

Traffic congestion, food scarcity, and poverty are the major issues in the Philippines. Traffic congestion can be solved with science and technology related policies, by taking a look at the root cause of the traffic congestion, and creating solutions to counter it. Food scarcity such as rice supply can be also solved by science and technology related solutions. Find ways to plant rice in industrial buildings, shielded from harsh elements, and pest. Poverty can be solved also be science and technology related solutions. Teach the poor to be able to do business online, and be tech savvy.

Does anyone have a Helio with SMS issues?

My SMS messages, not too often, but on occasion cease to work! Sometimes I would have an issue after "swapping" phones, I have a drift as well, but right now my Ocean just suddenly stopped being able to receive messages and I don't even know how long it's been, but u start to wonder when texts just stop all of sudden since majority of Ocean users live on texting lol. I haven't done anything to the phone to cause it to stop working, not sure if there's a network issue since the merger or whatever is going on with that. Also I did try re-entering the number and activation phone as if it was new or being swapped but that didn't work either. Anyone else ever have this problem? It's really annoying...I'm may leave helio as well! Thanks!
