What is Obama's health care reform bill?
It is very simple, 'Health care' in America is a lottery depending on the insurance cover you have, Obama, is trying to equalise health care for every one so that all people however poor they are can benefit from a good standard of health care. It is a very very good thing that benefits everyone. No one should be penalised for being poor or not having a good job, we are all equal or so the constitution says so why cant we all have the same chance to survive? It doesn't stop rich people being rich and poor people being poor, it just means that as far as living longer and healthier is concerned we all become as equal as each other. What's wrong in that? Why are so many people against Obamacare?
I would like to understand why so many people are against Obamacare. I am guessing Obamacare could help sick people or other people with no ways to pay for health cares. So why do they wanna delay it for a year? Why not give the opportunity to everyone to have better care. This is not a pro Obama question, I just want to understand. I'm from Europe

I am not political at all so i apologize beforehand . From what I understand Obamacare gives poor people access to affordable healthcare ? but Republicans and richer americans do not like that because it means higher taxes right? somebody has to pay for it. if im wrong please correct me
What does the term 'Affordable Housing' actually mean?
We KEEP hearing this phrase banded around every time the price of housing is discussed. Yet I've asked many times (including on here) what the phrase means & it's a question guaranteed to be ignored. I want to know what 'Affordable' housing actually costs. In other words how much money do I actually have to have to be able to actually afford one? Because lets face it, all houses, just like all private jets & luxury yachts are affordable. You just have to be able to afford them. BUT NO ONE ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THE DAMN THINGS COST!!! So if we don't know what they cost how do we're know they're affordable? I don't even know if they're houses for renting or buying outright, like on a mortgage. If they're rented houses does the phrase mean they're owned by housing associations who charge rents coverable by housing benefits if you're unemployed? A bit like council houses were before our tory governments (for whom more houses than the rest of us are affordable) sold them off. Especially I'd like to know: 1.) If affordable houses are buyable outright what is it that marks them out as 'Affordable' (as opposed to affordable only if you have enough money)? 2.) If affordable houses are government or council or housing association owned & rented what do they cost to rent? 3.) How do I find out where affordable houses are? 4.) At what point in my income or savings am I'm discounted from qualifying as someone affordable houses have to be affordable to?
Why is it that so many people think that Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act are two separate acts?
Because too many people get their opinions and beliefs from the Fox Entertainment & Opinion Channel (aka Fox “News”). If your tribal belief is that left wing liberals are evil, all Democrats are left-wing liberals and Obama was Satan manifested as a left wing liberal Democrat usurper who stole the White House from God-fearing Christians (why “God-fearing”… never mind, I digress) and anything, ANYTHING proposed by Obama in particular and supported by godless left wing liberal Democrats in general was bad. I mean like apocalypse bad…like the end of freedom and America bad.Then you name Obama’s signature achievement (yes, its now 2 laws), the ACA which was a well received, highly praised Republican/Conservative plan to begin with, “Obamacare” and spend the better part of a decade demonizing Obamacare without ever associating Obamacare with the ACA, declaring at every turn that it was evil, socialized medicine (whatever that means), killing jobs, crippling the economy, driving the deficit/debt and healthcare premiums and costs ever higher and must be repealed in order to save American and its citizens… well, some will actually believe it.After all this rhetoric and pointless attempts to repeal the “Obamacare”, it’s not surprising that many have completely forgotten that Obamacare was merely a pejorative label applied by Republicans/conservatives to the ACA in order further demonize the ACA. Which is why you actually have people that are happy with the ACA, and would like to see it improved, but are equally joyful that the Republicans are working hard to repeal and replace the evil, awful, failed Obamacare. But thank goodness they got their health insurance with the ACA. Whew!Oh. Wait. WHAT!!!
