So How Bad Do The Cheat Lose Tonight

I'm currently trying to lose weight. What should I drink tonight at the club?

alcohol is all carbs, however if you must drink vodka has the lowest calorie content of any drink,

as far as a mixer is concerned i would just go with diet soda or club soda.

also, gin and tonic is good as well, with a lime in it. ;)

have fun tonight and try not to think too much about it! (by the way a shot of vodka/gin is 60 calories)

Is having one "cheat" day going to ruin my diet!?! I ate bad at night!!?

Im 18 and 5'3 1/2. Im not big im small/normal but recently started eating junk food for like 2 weeks and gained a few lbs, i was still at a fine weight for my height btu i put weight on the bad way by eating junk

Well for the past week I've been on a diet. Eating only healthy foods and working out at the gym everyday. Tonight I fell off, I had a medium burger king milkshake with carmael mixed in with whipcream then right after I wanted food and ate this rice&brocolli cheese meal. This was all at like 9-9:30 at night too:(

Was this super bad!?? I feel like this whole week of working out was for nothing and i gained nothing from it bc i fell off tonight.... I feel like this new week of eating healthy will be like considdered my "first" week again of dieting cause i ate bad today. will it?!?

Why do I beat myself up so bad for having one cheat meal a week?

I have been on a 500 calorie a day diet for almost 3 months now and have lost almost 40 lbs since august 2012. I have allowed myself one cheat MEAL a week (not an entire cheat day). However, like tonight I went to cookout restaurant and had a cheeseburger, fries, and a peanut-butter fudge milkshake and I have beaten myself up so bad over it. Will I gain weight from this one meal? Should I just cut out any cheating whatsoever? I need to lose another 25 lbs.

I had a cheat day on Atkins diet. Is that bad?

Wow, if it was that many, yeah you probably goofed up really bad. It takes a lot of work to get into ketosis, and you most likely kicked yourself out. It could take you up to a week, maybe more to get back. You should be offended he screwed you over.

Don't worry about how long it will take, just get back there.

Atkins is in no way dangerous. You are completely fabricating medical issues. There are no kindey issues, fatty liver is caused by excessive carbohydrate intake, not carbohydrate restriction. The weight loss isn't long term? No, it is not because you lose the weight and don't have to lose it anymore. You keep it off by eating right (limiting carbohydrates). It is logical to avoid what made you fat to begin with.

There are plenty of vegans and vegetarians who are fat because they still eat a lot of carbohydrates - even in vegetables.

Counting calories as you state - this is flawed logic. It treats all calories as equal, which they are indeed not.

You also state that carbohydrates are the body's main source of energy. This is indeed true for those in glycogenesis. However, in ketosis, they are not. You need 0 carbohydrates to function. You would know this if you had ever read any type of basic biology. I won't even address the rest of your rant as you have already proven yourself uneducated on the topic.

I ate a lot today will it ruin my weight loss process?

I was very surprised I lost more weight by eating more of the correct foods and drinks then not eating enough,I went thru a period actually had three meals a day,don’t drink soda pop or sugar juices,plenty of water,water is wonderful once you begin to form the habit of drinking it,i even had a snack after 6:00 pm lost a lot of weight,down to size in high school and didn't even realize it at first and felt better eating more food,keeping blood sugar level,with more energy and not so moody.

Should I, or should I not have a cheat meal?

So, I'm 20. Female, 5 ft. 3 inches and 153 pounds. I started my journey a couple months ago at 195. Weight loss has slowed a bit and motivation is running a little low right now.
I work really hard... I work out all the time, and I take pride in saying that my nutrition is impeccable. I monitor my calorie intake daily, I restrict everything that's bad for me. I only have water and healthy Herbalife shakes (which has helped me so much) But despite working out hard, for 5-6 days a week... I kind of want a cheat meal tonight. I usually have on cheat meal every saturday, but still stay within my 1300 calorie daily intake. Somehow, despite my hard work, I only lose about 1-2 pounds every 1-2 weeks. I know that slow weight loss is the way to go, but it's just way too slow it seems for all the hard work I'm putting in.
So it's about 5 pm.. dinner time and I've had about 810 calories so far today. I want to make my cheat meal tonight, order pizza... I've had a bad day today. And then tomorrow, start fresh. I'm actually pretty good at recovering after a cheat day. Plus tomorrow morning, I'm going to a Fitcamp, where we work out as a group for an hour (very intense)

Do yall think this is ok? Can I have this pizza cheat meal tonight as long as I work extra hard tomorrow and the rest of the week? or should I eat a healthy dinner and just keep going. ???

Are cheat days ok on a diet?

im on a diet and all i eat all day is fruit, vegtgables, granola bars, turkey on wheat, and other healthy things but tonight i was bad and had a can of speghettios. but ive heard you can have at least one cheat day. so is it ok that i did this?
