It's not weird or strange, the foot fetish is the most common fetish there is. In our brains, the nerves connecting to our feet are closest to the nerves connecting to our sexual organs, so that's why foot fetishes are so common. Sorry if my question doesnt make any sense..... sooooo jet lagged right now! lol! Just been on a 12 HOUR flight from Seoul - Los Angeles and my question is actually about something that happened on the plane.... My Korean friend was sitting next to me and as soon as we were seated she kicked off her sandals and put her bare feet on my lap. (I didn't mind at all cuz she's a cool friend and i even massaged them for her..... yeah im THAT nice.. lol!) But the girl to my right (also Korean) i DIDN'T KNOW AT ALL. So i was bit surprised when she curled up in the seat next to me and put her bare feet on my lap too! I looked at my friend who just acted like it was normal. But to me it was so weird!! I wanted to say something but they were both soon asleep and i didn't want to wake them. So i was stuck under my friend's feet AND the feet of a girl i didn't even know for almost 10 hours of the 12 hour flight! The stranger girl didn't even acknowlege me! I smiled at her and said "hi" but she just waved her hand and said "no english". A couple of times, she used the bathroom and when she came back, she put her feet back on me! I also used the bathroom and when i came back, both of them put their feet back on me! Other than that, the only time they didn't have their feet on me was during meals. I felt like a foot rest! Afterwards i commented to my friend that the girl to my right was really weird. But my friend disagreed and said its important to elevate your feet while flying. I said i'd never heard such a thing and my friend said "Thats because you Americans dont know anything about aviation!" I didn't answer her cuz i could tell she was grouchy after the long flight (even though she slept and i didn't cuz they didn't let me lie down!) but i was thinking "Wasn't Orville Wright American? Americans invented aviation!" Anyway, i still love my friend but i'm confused by her and the girl on the plane. Is this a CULTURAL difference? I mean i don't deny that Korean girls have "cute feet" but is it really ok to put ur feet on any stranger? Or only on Caucasian girls? ^_^
