So I Have A Smartphone A My Touch. And I Get Wifi On It Of Course And A Few Days Ago I Went On

AT&T vs straight talk for smart phones?

See I'm trying to convince my dad that AT&T is a better deal because you get discounts on the phones, (some of them are even free) even though straight talks monthly bills are cheaper you have to pay full price for the phones. What are your thoughts?

How can I convince my parents to let me get an ipod touch?

dont be spoiled lol.
uh how old are you? lol because i know many parents would not want their child buying then breaking it and crap. lol if youre older then, idk.
haha dude only get an ipod touch if you love music and listen to a lot of music. Dont be stupid like other people i know that only want it because of the apps and its a way of being "cool". i had the first ipod touch for like 4 years and never even did any harm to itXD now meh has the newest one!=D lol just make sure that you will take care of it. and with the other stuff, just choose only one thing...like i said, dont be spoiled!!!!

What should someone who's never had a smartphone know before getting one?

So, I'm one of the few people alive who hasn't had a smartphone...ever.
Recently, I decided to get one since I feel like I'd get more utility out of it than my regular cell phone. For one, I won't have to lug around my laptop when I just want to check email...

I've pretty much already decided on the iPhone 5, and the timing works out well since my cell phone is off contract already.
So I have some basic questions. Please add more info that you think would be relevant.

Do I need to purchase a text message plan in addition to the data plan? Or does the data plan allow me to text?
I'm almost always somewhere that has WiFi. Does this mean I can buy the cheapest data plan the provider offers, and download apps / check emails / browse websites as much as I want as long as I'm connected to the WiFi?
Does the smartphone automatically connect to the closest WiFi?
Can the phone double as a music / audio player when I go running?
Will the phone play audio files that aren't iTunes?
My computer isn't a Mac, will I be able to transfer stuff between the phone and computer?
How much data should I get if I don't plan on accessing any websites/downloading stuff when not in the vicinity of WiFi?

I know these questions are pretty basic, but I've never had a smartphone before.

How to get a stuck sim card out a phone?

I have a zte zmax pro and when I removed the sim card because I read if you remove it and put it in rice it will some remaining moistures. I figure since my touch screen wasn't working I put it in rice and it worked but the thing is when I use that thing to remove my sim card it flew off somewhere and I cant find it and so I figure when I get done putting my phone in rice I jus put the sim card back in and when I slipped it in, it fell all the way down insode my phone and now it stuck. Is there a way to get it out?

WiFi password? Parents locked the wifi but I need it and they don't want to tell me it.?

It's quite simple really... Go to a computer that does have the password or is connected via a cable. Type in this address http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 One of these should be the settings page for the WiFi. look for the password field and check the box that says "display password" or "hide characters'.
