Is it normal to have such a small rib cage/waist and have large breast? PLEASE HELP?

So 14, and I know I'm still developing and growing.. practically everywhere so I know my body won't be the same probably next year!
I have a 29inch rib cage, but I fill a 32C/30D and I have large breast compared to my rib cage, so I guess it looks odd.
I have a 24.5 inch waist, 32 inch hips

I have a lot of friends say how awkward it looks to have such a large cup size compared to my ribs and waist, and that my breast look fake and too large, but then some say it looks really good... ha ha like my guy friends and they tell me not to listen because they are jealous, and my mom says the same thing

I just want your opinions! Would you think it looks weird?
and do you think I'l change?
Sometimes I feel kind of fake, and too curvy... A lot of my friends have a small breast like a 36A-34B

What is a way for a girl to get a narrower rib cage/waist?

You can not change the way you bones are. This includes the rib cage. What can change appearance quite a bit though is gaining or losing fat and/ or muscle.Foe example if someone is overweight loosing weight will slim down the waist as well. “Spot reducing” meaning trying to lose weight in a particular spot does not work though. If someone (woman) is thin gaining weight may actually make the waist appear thinner because many (not all) woman tend to gain weight easier/more around the hips/butt.Another way (healthy) is trying to build up more muscle in areas that by getting larger make the waist appear smaller. Such as doing shoulder, arm exercises… as well as exercises to tone the waist. If the muscles in the shoulder area become larger the waist will look smaller in contrast. Also just toning the midsection/core will tighten the muscles there making the waist smaller.Either way, try not to worry too much about it. Unless there is something medically wrong with your rib cage to the point that it is causing problems with your organs or mobility it is just fine. :)

Why do I have a lump in the middle of my rib cage?

“The middle of my rib cage” is a bit difficult to characterize anatomically, but let’s assume that you’re talking about the sternum. Let’s assume also that we aren’t talking about some abnormal mass like a tumour. The two structures most likely to produce what you might call a lump would be the sternomanubrial joint (angle of Louis) and the xiphoid process. The former is the joint between the manubrium and the body of the sternum. It is usually apparent only as a ridge continuous with the second ribs, but it can be quite prominent, especially if it is involved in arthritis. The xiphoid is a small cartilaginous extension at the lower end of the sternum. In many people it is so small that they be unaware of it but it may be quite large and protuberant. My guess would be that your “lump” is the xiphoid process.

When you are pregnant does your rib cage expand??

Yes your rib cage widens but will go back to normal after delivery.

Your changing bustline may be a source of amazement or frustration to you during your pregnancy. Because every pregnancy is different, you may need new bras within weeks of conceiving. If this is not your first pregnancy, you may get away with wearing your pre-pregnancy bras well into the second trimester. If your breasts seemed to expand immediately, it is a good idea to hold off on investing in expensive maternity/nursing bras, because most likely your breasts will continue to grow (as amazing as that seems) and your ribcage will expand as well. It's better to pick up a few inexpensive bras in larger sizes to tide you through the first few months. When you finally reach the second trimester, then you can start to think about maternity bras. Maternity bras feature several rows of hooks (at least 5 or 6) to accomodate the changes in your rib cage. They also have adjustable cups, so that you don't need to buy a new bra every time you go up another cup size. Many maternity bras are designed to be used as nursing bras, too; take a look at the different features if you think you'll be nursing.

Is it possible to shrink your rib cage?

im not doing this because of size or anything and a healhy 14 year old girl and i just have a larger rib cage... i have a dress from last year that my mom wants me to wear again but the waist band is too tight because of my ribcage... i have only worn the dress once and it as 107 dollars... my mom would get mad at me if i never wore it agian so i thought just if it was possible to try to shrink it to fit, try to fit in the dress best as possibe. or just be extremly sorry for having her buy the dress and just pay her the 107 so she didnt waste her money and meybe get a new dress!!! your opinion please!!!!!

Getting tattoo on rib cage?

Rib tattoos won't fade, don't know where you heard that. Every tattoo is gonna need a touch up here and there. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR A FIRST TIME TATTOO!!! My rib piece was my 4th tattoo. For Me it was a 5-6 out of 10 on the pain scale compared to my foot and a full lower back piece. Honestly it's the shading that sucks, I was in the chair for almost 4 hours. Either save it for a rainy day when you know what getting ink feels like or put it elsewhere.

It is normal to have an asymmetrical rib cage?

It is normal to have an asymmetrical rib cage?Have you ever looked at a photograph of your face held up to a mirror? You will see yourself as others see you, not as you do in a mirror. Your image will be reversed and slightly different. Nobody has a mathematically symmetrical face, so you could well be surprised at just how asymmetrical most of us are. That applies to all our bits, not just our faces. Normally the lower rib cage on our right side is slightly greater in semi-circumference than the left, because it encloses the massive liver, and the left side only shelters a small spleen. The spacing of the ribs and the fore-and-aft arrangement of our rib cage is dependent on the vertical alignment of our spine, to which all the ribs are attached. A tiny difference in angulation of the corresponding rib on each side as it emerges from the spine is amplified by the time it reaches the front into quite a large difference. If you open a fan very slightly at the base, the movement at the edge is much greater. The ribs fan out from the spine. Few of us have a spine that is precisely vertical or that is not very slightly twisted along its axis. A very tiny twist or rotation of the spine will produce an obvious asymmetrical effect. So, the answer is yes. Our rib cages are much more often somewhat asymmetrical than not. The effect is very noticeable if we have a visibly rotated spine (called scoliosis). Scoliosis in minor degree is pretty much normal. Major scoliosis is less usual, very obvious, and treatable.

Do big rib cages have anything to do with having a big belly?

i think i have kinda of a big rib cage. see my problem is that i have a little less fat at my ribs cause when u touch it you just feel bones and my stomach is quite big so i was wondering if i lose my belly fat, would my rib cage show and if my rib cage effects my belly :(

thanks if u answer

Anyone know why I have rib pain being 8 weeks pregnant?

Both myself and my sister in law had this odd rib pain and fairly early on as you describe.

Damned if I know the cause, we're both really short and attributed to not having too much vertical room. I can't assure you what it is but both of us have 2 healthy kids after having it.

That's not to say it's OK for you and if you're concerned you can call your doctor. It can be gas trapped in that area too, so something with simethicone (Gas-X) may help if that's OK with your doctor or pharmacist.

Good luck!
