So The Shooting Which Took Place In Seattle The Suspect

Is Seattle shooting suspect Erick Nathan Walker in prison (guilty) or in asylum (innocent) right now?

Mr. Walker was convicted of Manslaughter, not murder as charged, but also of a number of other charges that added substantially to his sentence. He is presently awaiting sentencing in the Snohomish County jail and is facing a sentencing range of 65-80 years in prison. Unless his appeal is successful (his attorney, Mark Mestel, has promised an appeal), he will spend the rest of his life in prison. Not a hospital or asylum.

Is there a reason why Seattle shooting suspect Erick Nathan Walker is considered innocent?

All US defendants, until the moment they are convicted, are presumed innocent.  Even the most lock-solid case can fall apart, and so journalism outlets will consistently refer to an accused as just that, accused, to avoid inadvertently committing defamation.

Are there any updates about the Seattle shooting suspect Erick Nathan Walker for today's court date?

Not that I know of.

Why is the trial of Seattle shooting suspect Erick Nathan Walker postponed until November 2014?

Not much to answer, even another question asked a couple months ago doesn't offer much insight.   I found one article that says what most lawyers would say when a trial is delayed - they needed more time to prepare."Lawyers told Snohomish County Superior Court Judge Thomas Wynne on Friday that they need more time to prepare. There is a large volume of reports and other evidence to review. They also are trying to coordinate schedules for the dozens of witnesses."HeraldNet.com - Trial in drive-by slaying of girl, 15, postponed

Is it legal to shoot a burglar in your own house? Does it matter if their back is turned to you?

In Texas, it generally is legal to shoot a burglar and it doesn’t matter whether his back was turned, inside your house.Someone with his back to you could be picking up something to brain you with, or be heading to the kitchen to get a butcher knife, or going down the hall for your wife or children.According to The Castle Doctrine, he has already demonstrated bad intent towards you and your family by breaking into your habitation while you were in it.Shooting a burglar in the back is sometimes called “Preventative Self Defense”.Not long after The Castle Doctrine was passed, a man in San Antonio found two men in a spare bedroom after having broken in through a garage door.He killed one in the bedroom with a shotgun, while the other pushed past him and ran out a sliding patio door into the back yard.As he was trying to climb over a six-foot wood privacy fence, the homeowner walked out and shotgunned him in the back, killing him too.No charges were filed. I found THAT a little surprising, since the guy was outside, trying to run away. So, “It All Depends”, but history so far is “Yes, it’s legal”, at least in Texas. It should be noted that The Castle Doctrine was passed to keep over-zealous, anti-gun district attorneys from bringing unwarranted charges, and to protect homeowners from civil suits by burglars, or families of deceased burglars. It isn’t a license to knock off your in-laws or something. If you shoot someone who has broken into Your Castle and there’s ANY reason to suspect foul play, murder WILL be suspected and investigated. For instance, if you knew the burglar a detective will start looking for any motive you might have had for murdering him. If they find a motive, you’ll start getting asked some very pointed questions…Or if he (or his dead body) had anything on it which might indicate he was there for a legitimate purpose, THAT will not go unnoticed. The fact that he works for a cable company and has some sales brochures is not going to raise any eyebrows if you shoot him at 11:00pm, but at any time during normal working hours, it will make people wonder things… very inconvenient things for you.So it’s not just a license to shoot people, it’s merely a device to protect homeowners from unwarranted legal problems if they DO shoot someone and it is a justifiable shooting.

Should that former Seattle Boeing company supervisor of Seattle shooting suspect (Erick Nathan Walker) be arrested, brought to court, convicted and sentenced to jail for carelessness in eliminating Erick too soon?

Um, there are these things called "laws" and you get arrested, tried and convicted if you break them. Last I checked, there is no law against "carelessness."  There are all sorts of bad things that people do that don't violate actual laws, and we don't jail people for them.

What is the latest, most current news about the Seattle, Washington shooting suspect Erick Nathan Walker, who is about to be put to death?

As most people have said, Mr. Ignatius Rafael Evangelista has very questionable news sources. 1) I have never heard of Mr. Erick Nathan Walker before this question. From the google search I did his crime is both senseless and random. He appears to be a person destined to spend the rest of his life in prison, which is a good thing. Honestly, Mr. Erick Nathan Walker is the reason why we build prisons in the first place. 2) Seattle, Washington is the most hated city in the US? Where did you get that? I suspect the motive behind this question is to drum up interest in Mr. Walker which is a waste. He will be forgotten about one way or another.

Should the Seattle suspect, Erick Nathan Walker's current mental doctor, be brought to court? If so, then should that current mental doctor be convicted and plead guilty for being careless for taking care of Erick Nathan Walker's mental condition in a poor way?

I'm assuming by "mental doctor" you're referring to a psychiatrist. These doctors are often used in trials if a defendant's mental health is relevant to the case. The man should be given full benefit of a competent defense and if this includes bringing his psychiatrist in as a witness, do it.

Do police fire warning shots? If not, have they ever been able to? Is this just a myth? Is it used outside of America?

Yes they do.I don’t ascribe to the idea that warning shots are stupid, those who say view world only from a narrow prism. Agreed there is a chance of bullet hitting an innocent bystander but the chances are pretty low. The aim of gun is not always to stop the threat sometimes it’s used to make the suspect surrender or flee (during riots). With that philosophy no wonder US police kills so many criminal/suspects.And contrary to what people say warning shots works, they have been successfully used through out the world. World is not US, In 2011 49 warning shots, 36 shots on suspects. 15 persons were injured, 6 were killed.[1]There are many other instances of cops firing warning shots:Amsterdam police fire warning shots during drugs arrest in city centre — NetherlandPolice justified in firing warning shots during attack on police at Carrowdore - Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland — IrelandPolice officer fires warning shot after being charged at by knife-wielding 15-year-old boy — JapanS.African police fire warning shots at Uber clashes — South AfricaAnd these are not your third world country with no regard for human life. If it can work there, it can work anywhere provided officers are properly trained.Footnotes[1] German Police Used Only 85 Bullets Against People in 2011
