Why is jayant Yadav in the squad for the second test?

Jayant Yadav, offie from haryana has named as a replacement from Isanth for the second testI dont think he will be picked for the starting XI unless anything happens to Ashwin(I feel India will will play with 3 spinners)I havnt seen him play but I heard his performance was impressive in Aus(India A tour)The selector might have thought him as a player for future and they might want him to gain experience of being in the senior squadHope this answers! Thanks for reading

What should India's team be for old Trafford now? Should Gambhir be given a chance?

There are a lot of concerns over injuries as of now. I am assuming B. Kumar makes it to the 4th test. It has been clarified that Ishant will be missing out on the test. I think Team India will continue to pursue the same batting line up. There is only one possible change in the team, with Ashwin replacing Jadeja. Given the lines Jadeja was made to bowl in the 3rd test, and the amount of bowling Rohit Sharma did, it is obvious MSD isn't looking at Jadeja to take wickets. Pitches have been supportive to spinners on day 4 and 5, and there is a fair chance that R. Ashwin will get to play his first test of the series IMO. Gambhir for Dhawan isn't entirely impossible, but the fact that Dhawan seemed to be finding his touch in the last innings should keep his place intact. MSD is in general not a great supporter of changing team composition in the middle of a series, and that should keep Gambhir on the bench. Having said that, it'll be interesting to see what happens to Dhawan and Shami - the two people who should be scared of their spots in the team. Ishant's injury should make Shami immune, but there are calls for handing Aaron a chance on these pitches, and it'll be interesting if India opt for some raw pace.

What are some of things that you would do if you were made captain of India Cricket Team?

I am an off-spin all-rounder someone who can bat in the top order and bowl more often than not and i play myself as a regular off-spinner so i will drop H Singh from all sqauds because i have Ashwin as a first choice offi.I would like to make 5 changes in my team for tests which are as follows:1. I will immediately drop Rohit Sharma from squad and include  Cheteshwar Pujara in final eleven because Rohit does not have a technique that can cope up in away condition2. I will also leave out W Saha and i will play Naman Ojha ahead of him because Ojha can play freely and he looks more like a batsman and he has also improved his keeping.3. I will drop V Aaron and select Pankaj Singh and give him more chances that he deserves because with the pace you can not select a guy every time sometimes you need to drop him and give chances to Ranji trophy heroes like Pankaj Singh.4. I will drop S Dhawan from test team because he is not a permanent solution and i will groome KL Rahul as an opener.5. I will try to experiment more spin options in Indian conditions likes of P Rasool, Y Chahal etc. and i will include P Ojha in my team as a third spinner ahead of Axar Patel and Ravi Jadeja because I have two spinners Ashwin and Mishra as a first choice. My final test team for all conditions: ( 17 memebers )M Vijay, KL Rahul, C Pujara, V Kohli(VC), Umang Pabari(Captain), N Ojha(wk), S Binny, A Rahane, K Nair, R Ashwin, Amit Mishra, P Ojha, U Yadav, B Kumar, I Sharma, M Shami, Pankaj Singh. For One Day cricket i will try to bring 3 more changes in my team.1. I will bring Rahane as an opener and i will play Rohit at no.5 and Dhoni at no.4 and myself at no. 7.2. I will try to include new players like M Pandey, S Samson, K Jadhav, KL Rahul against less challenging teams and at the same time i will also want to increase my bench strength.3. I will try to develop pool of fast bowlers and batsmen with a pure technique with a view of upcoming world cup 2019 which will be in England. My final ODI team for all conditions ( 17 memebers )S Dhawan, A Rahane, V Kohli, MS Dhoni ( vc & wk ), Umang Pabari, S Raina, R Sharma, S Binny, R Ashwin, A Patel, M Shami, B Kumar, U Yadav, Sreenath Arvind, A Rayudu, S Samson, K Jadhav. Thanks,Umang Pabari.

Which IPL team looks best after the ipl auctions 2016?

Royal Challengers BangaloreRetained Players: Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Mitchell Starc, David Wiese, Sreenath Aravind, Varun Aaron, Kedar Jadhav, Mandeep Singh, Adam Milne, Sarfaraz Khan, Harshal Patel, Abu Nechim, Yuzvendra Chahal.New Buys: Shane Watson, Stuart Binny, Kane Richardson, Samuel Badree, Travis Head, Praveen Dubey, Vikramjeet Malik, Iqbal Abdulla, Akshay Karnewar, Vikas Tokas, Sachin BabyTeam Intro: Having retained most of their core team members from the 2015 IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore used the auction to boost the squad. RCB had put up a very decent performance in the previous edition as they finished 3rd in the group stage and crashed out only in Qualifier 2. They have reached close to winning the title on a few occasions but failed and will be looking to set the record straight this time.STRENGTHSBig Four: The Big Three – Kohli, Gayle and de Villiers – have now become the Big Four with the inclusion of Watson, who has been one of the top players in IPL history.Spinners galore: RCB have invested in spinners at the auction so that the likes of Chahal get some much-needed support. From leg spinners to left-arm spinners to even ambidextrous spinners, they have them all.Stronger Indian group: Royal Challengers Bangalore already had a good core of Indian players and they have done well to rope in some good local players.WEAKNESSESLess Backup for Biggies: There is a lack of players who could do the cover up job in case one or more of the top players fail. At least, a couple of more strong foreign players could have been the ideal remedy.FINAL VERDICTThings are looking good for RCB and they could be in line for their first piece of silverware.

Who are the best 11 players for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup for the Indian team to win the World Cup?

#1 - Shikhar Dhawan#2 - Rohit Sharma#3 - Virat Kohli#4 - Yuvraj Singh#5 - Suresh Raina#6 - M.S.Dhoni#7 - Ravinder Jadeja#8 - Ravichandran Ashwin#9 - Bhuvneshwar Kumar#10 - Zaheer Khan#11 - Ishant SharmaOnly to say if everybody is fit and is in rhythm. There can be some  doubt about Yuvraj at #4 who can be replaced by Ajinkya Rahane or Ambati Rayudu. Same can be said about #10 (Zaheer Khan) where Umesh Yadav can take his place. This is my personal choice about Playing XI, though everyone is entitled to have his/her own opinion.

Whom would you pick for a squad for the Cricket World Cup 2015 (25 probables)?

World Cup Lineup: Team of 111. M Vijay 2. S Dhawan3. V Kohli (VC)4. A Raydu/ R Utthappa (WK)5. S Raina6. MS Dhoni (C & WK)7. Sir Ravindra Jadeja8. R Ashwin/ Amir Mishra9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar10. Ishant Sharma11. S Ahmad/ Umesh Yadav/ Varun Aaron (depends on form)Openers:Murli Vijay's performance is great in Ozzies flat pitches. Dhawan is currently out of form, hope he will be back like he was blasting a year ago.Middle Order:World's best batsman Virat Kholi, no need to describe and he can assisted by R Utthappa as he is experienced Indian batsman also in good form. Raydu is good option but I never saw his play for Indian team, his statics are below average so far for India (Missing Yuvi like player at this spot). Then after four down experienced and aggressive batsman Raina is best for it. And last our great wicket-keeper captain MS Dhoni with helicopter shots. All rounders: (Batting)Ravindra Jadeja is excellent overall player for Indian team. He can score quick 50 in crucial stage. Also he is the best fielder.R Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar are also talent all rounders as they both scored centuries in domestic cricket. Bowlers:Spiners:Jadgeja's left arm spin is very difficult to read for any batsman. He takes wickets in the crucial stage under the guidance of captain MS Dhoni.Ashwin can spin in flat pitches with his carom ball style and he is smart player for reading batsman mind. Amit Mishra is dangerous experienced spinner. He performed great against Ozzies, he can turn the ball really sharp by his legbreak spin. Seamers: Bhuvneshwar bowls divine with new ball. His swing reminds me of great Shaun Pullock. If wind helps him, batsman will face high difficulty to read the ball, he gets beaten to touch the ball with his bat.Ishant Sharma is known for outstanding performance against Ozzies in their flat pitches. The bowler who made Ricky Pointing like batsman go nuts. Hope his fitness remain constant during the season. Shami Ahmad, Umesh Yadav or Varun Aaron, all of them shown so so performance till now. Umesh and Varun have good pace, ability to bowl 140 kmph constantly. Shami has strength of swing and line length. Anyone can work depends on form, oppositions and conditions.
