Sol Republic Vs. Beats by Dr. Dre?
Okay truth. Beats by dres were the first headphones that took the world by storm because of celeb endorsement and the heavy bass they produce. There are many reasons why people say that beats are bad and here are some: people try to get beats for cheap and thats impossible, if you bought beats outside of an offical dealer (apple futureshop best buy boathouse) they are in fact fake, another reason, people are bias towards a pair of expensive headphones they personally do not want to spend money on, or they are too "mainstream". Now lets face it, we live in a world of presentation, correct? When people are buying something they look at the brand first, cause seriously if we didnt care about brand, lets all just buy Walmart shoes and not the pair of nikes or whatever u like to wear, or lets not buy a mercedes but settle for a volkeswagon. So basically we all like to have nice things. So if you want to get a pair of Sol its your choice, but that "b" emblem is going to catch ppls eyes a lot more because famous stars endorse that emblem. Now audio, they are both excellent. I dont think there is anything known as "better" especially when you are buying celebrity endorsed headphones, just reference. Because we are not all audiophiles, just everyday ppl so we arent quite as picky. Sol is endorsed by deadmau5 i believe, just some extra info.
Is sol republic a good brand?
NOT really. If REAL quality is an issue, please stick to REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica (NOT to be mixed with Technic which is utter rubbish as well!), Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Things like V-Moda, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish" indeed. Please do NOT fall a victim to FASHION ACCESSORIES by buying Boombox, Ministry of Sound, Sol/Republic/Revolution, Noontec Zoro's, Benetton, a-jays, iFrogz, Marley, Fanny Wang, Razer, Karl Kani, WESC, Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), BE THEM FAKE OR NOT! Are Beats by dr dre mixr worth it?
Hi, I am 16 and have the beats by dr dre mixr for like a year, I have not used them alot, I have been using them more frequent lately. But on the internet I read alot of negative comments about poor durability, the headband that snaps, or the earcups that snap off. it feels like I bought a poor product, do you guys have any tips to prevent headband snaps and earcup snaps? And should you keep the mixr in its case or just leave it normal, some people say if you put the mixr in its case you have to rotate the earcups and that puts more stress on the headband? Do you guys have any tips to prevent failures of the beats mixr?
